The shoes are as expected, very light, comfortable and they also look good.

Great shoe for CrossFt, which means anything since I do everything in them. Tread is good for working on grass/over terrain as well. Fit identical to my other shoes I own from various brands - all the same size. Not narrow but probably normal width, but I was able to deal with them despite my semi-wide feet. Just loosened the laces a bit.

I have 3 types of Crossfit shoes: Nike, New Balance, and I just got the Inov-8. These are the most comfortable trainers I've had. They are perfect for lifting and running. We don't run long distances (400/800 m and periodically 1K within the workouts), and they are great for that. I'm sure they would feel great on longer distances, but for CF, they are perfect. The F-Lite 195's are extremely light, and feel great on my feet. I CrossFit 5 days a week and love these shoes. I was worried about ordering on line without trying them on, but they are true to size and are perfect. As soon as my other brands wear out, I'll be Inov-8 exclusive!

Great shoe overall! I was using them to cross-fit, but I found myself using them every day, so much that I can't go back to regular Nike type running shoes. The shoe is very light and comfortable almost feels like a sock. I get compliments on the flashiness of this shoe all the time. Definitely a head turner. UK 6.5 = US 8.5.

These shoes are amazing. I need to get a second pair already. Light weight, stability and comfortable. Needed them for post rehab on knee and I can already tell a difference. I was hesitant to do a minimalist shoe but after working out in these I won't go back. I wear the same size in Nike so go with that size if you are trying to figure that out.

These shoes are great for someone looking for a natural style running shoe. Also great for the gym. Minimal cushion and super light let your foot do the work it was designed for. Size is intentionally snug for a contoured fit.

Great shoes, both for running and crossfit. Very flat, almost no heel so they force you to run on your forefoot. Get these in half size larger than your Chucks.

I ordered these shoes in a gray color last April. It took three tries to get the correct fit because they ran a full size larger than normal. I've been wearing them for CrossFit 3-4 times a week since then and I have absolutely loved them. I wash them about once a week and they showed absolutely no wear. I thought they were indestructible...until I added rope climbs to my routine just a few weeks ago. The rope eats right into the sole on the descent and is ruining my shoes. I called Inov8 and talked to customer service, and they told me since it is actually a trail running shoe, it was never meant to stand up to rope climbs. It's a great shoe, and I love the minimalist feel for CrossFit. Just wear something else for rope climbs!

So cute! Love them! It's like being bare foot! And as a girl with big feet, they make my feet look small.

This is my first review of any product that I have purchased. I am only doing this because my arm was twisted . Kidding. I have two pairs of these shoes and the trail version called the X-Tallon. If you have have narrow feet these are great. I only run on trails and only on the road as a transition to another trail. I use these shoes on hardpack to lose gravel (X-Tallons for the rough, loamy and rocky stuff). I have never felt like I was going to lose my footing. Every time I plant my foot, I am confident my foot will stick. Only on the losest of conditions have I slipped so slightly. I have to say the rubber is better than vibram as well. Maybe it is just me. If you are into minimalist shoes but not ready for zero rise shoes, these are good. If you run through some water, they dry quickly (the fastest I have experienced). The one downside I read about in other reviews and happened to me as well is this. The shoe for some odd reason wears a hole near your pinky toe. Granted this happend after several months of use. The pretty paint on the botom sides of the sole ware off pretty quickly as well. So in a nutshell. If you are tall and skinny and have narrow feet and do not want to look like you have clown feet with a barefoot shoe. Look no further. I normally wear a 12 US but wear a 10½ UK (11½ US).

I started this workout called insanity and felt that my current shoes didn't fit the bill when it came to all the jumping. I needed something lighter and these shoes are the best at being weightless. I just finished the workout 3 days ago and there wasn't a day that I didn't feel satisfied with how they performed. The one thing I didn't like was that the top toe would collapse and make my my foot be uncomfortable but I think this was my doing by tying them too tight. Overall they are great shoes and I am thoroughly enjoying wearing them.

I bought my first pair of F-Lite 195s in the fall of 2010, and loved them. They lasted nearly 1½ years while doing Crossfit four times per week. When they wore out, I ordered another pair this spring (2012), and was surprised by how different they felt. The new ones felt stiffer and more structured, and narrower. Perhaps the old ones had broken down more than I realized, or perhaps Inov-8 has evolved their design a bit to differentiate the new Bare-XF series. I ended up going with a pair of Bare-XF 210s, which I like.

I bought these for cross training. Not sure if I would run in these for longer runs since they don't have much arch support. I felt more balanced when lifting weights and they really make your legs work when running.

Overall these are great shoes for crossfit, but be careful during rope climbs. The soft rubber in the arch gets shredded by the rope!

This was my first introduction to minimal(ish) sneakers. I have used them for crossfit and running. (I don't do long distances but a couple of miles a week.) They are comfortable and incredibly light. I have very wide feet as a result of having very flat feet. As a result I went up to a 10.5 as I do with most Nike's that run small. Not needed here. I had to return for a half size smaller (a quick and painless process). While I still feel like I'm busting out the sides a little it isn't at all uncomfortable to lace them up tightly. Overall I am happy with the sneakers. I'll have to see how they respond to constant wear and tear, but after one month they are still going strong.

I bought the shoes for crossfit. I have never been much of a runner, and I still am not. It is nice to have the lighter weight shoes. If I wind up going back to my older shoes for a hike or something, I am amazed at how heavy they are. The most important thing about the shoe though is that with the very low differential, I noticed an immediate improvement in my Oly lifts. I would never go back to regular shoes. They do not seem especially durable, but I have been wearing them to 6-7 WODs a week for a month or so and there is little perceptible wear.

I love how light this shoe is! This is the first minimal shoe. I've bought for Crossfit, and it definitely makes a difference. The shoe feels almost weightless for box jumps and running, and the low rise helps with my lifts. I don't absolutely love them for running, but I can live with it for short distances. It would be great if they had slightly more arch support, but overall I've been very happy with them!

I just got these shoes in the mail last week. I ordered a 10.5, because that's what I usually wear in most other brands, but these were about half a size too large. Other than that, they feel greet, are lightweight, and are very breathable. They are more purple than the picture shows (more plum, than berry), but still look great. I've only used them at the gym so far, but once I go for a few runs in them, I'll update my review. I have squatted and deadlifted in these, and they worked great, not too much give in the sole.

I use this for crossfit training. It's good since the lack of a higher cushioned heel allows me to keep my balance better. It's a bit like wearing a sandal rather than an athletic shoe.

I have always used shoes made by most of the major running shoe manufacturers. Ever since I have started using Inov-8s for my workouts, I've noticed a significant difference. This shoe is the most minimalist anyone could ask for. These shoes allow to me to run and jump while providing a comfortable experience during my workout. Not only is a lightweight, but also very flexible to allow for any kind of traction. Inov-8s are suitable to wear on any kind of surfaces and still remain in great condition. If you are looking for a lightweight shoe, then this is the shoe for you!

I got these to supplement my Vibram five fingers over the winter -- wanted to have the option of wearing socks, which I don't like with vff. They're very light weight and comfortable. I don't really notice the 3mm heel-toe drop, though I do notice that if I run in these exclusively, my good barefoot/minimalist running form gets a bit sloppy. Fine on trails, though probably not for super-slippy conditions. No discomfort after a 10 mile run, though I do feel some pressure on the outside of my big toes. I have very wide feet and while these are wide and flexible, they aren't quite flexible or wide enough at the front. But overall I'm very happy with them and would buy them again.
