These are great shoes for CrossFit. Super light & comfortable. I would say they run about a 1/2 size larger than normal because of the more pointed toe than say New Balance MT 101s so your toes will rub a bit when you run if you go with your normal shoe size. They don't make a 6 for women which is unfortunate for this reason.

Great for crossfit. Just started running in them. A lot of my foot problems went away after wearing stability running shoes and orthotics for 10 years. Light. Still cute for wearing with street clothes. Can get smelly without socks so I still wear with an ultra thin sock.

I purchased the burgundy/orange color and my husband can't stop commenting on how good they look. They ran true to size and at first they were tight in the heel but after wearing them for a day they have molded to my foot and are now comfortable. I've excercised once in these and I liked how my knees felt supported and stable. I guess they are keepers.

Not the best for lateral movement and quick turns in shuttle runs, but great for just about everything else.

I purchased the Inov-8 F-Lite 195s for my gym workouts and occasional trail running/inclement weather road running. I'm a fan of the minimalist design and the light weight, but the toe box is narrower than I would have liked. Feels a tad scrunched. I also bought the Inov-8 Road-X 155s for my regular road running, and those shoes are fantastic with a wider, more comfortable toe box than these 195s. The shoe also runs about a half size larger than what I normally wear.

Fantastic shoe in all ways but one. Since they don't have available widths (EE, EEEE, etc), they are quite narrow in the forefoot for those of us with wide feet. I had to size up from 10 to 10.5 (US), and the result was some irritating and mildly uncomfortable (no blisters, though) creasing on the top of the toe box.

I bought these based on word of mouth reviews from my peers who for the most part, do mostly cross fit and running. I'm comparing them to the Vibram Komodos as those were my primary workout shoe before I got these. Overall I like the way they feel for a shoe but they are nothing like the vibrams nor will they be a true replacement if you're wanting a minimalist approach. These are very much a shoe and as such, feel much larger and bulkier than any of the vibrams. With the vibrams, you often forget that you're wearing them (at least I do) but with these, you know there's a shoe on your feet. I would honestly say to try the vibrams first if you haven't already. These look more "normal" but for training and minimalist running, I give the nod to the vibrams and will be using them instead of these on my lower body training days and will use the inov-8's on my upper body days just so I don't feel like I wasted the money. For a shoe, they're great but they can't touch the vibrams in my opinion. I would honestly rate them a lot higher if I hadn't worn vibrams yet but since they seem to be targeting the vibram market, they fall short of the mark. Also, they feel a tad narrow in the middle of the shoe but it sort of stretches a bit to accommodate so it's not uncomfortable.
I'd also recommend:

I have no idea how you can describe this as a trail running shoe. Are you kidding? It's flatter than flat, it has no tread/grip. You should describe it just like the running flat that it is. This was my first bad call after numerous great experiences w/ Zappos. But the description of this model did not match the product.

Terrible quality. Amazing look and feel but two pairs of these shoes have fallen apart with very light usage. I do not recommend unless you're going to wear as slippers inside your home.

I love these shoes -- they are extremely light and flexible, and fit true to size. I don't run, so I can't speak to them as running shoes, but I wear them to lift weights and have even boxed in them.

These shoes are amazing. Literally the best we've ever bought. Incredibly comfortable. We will buy nothing but inov-8's from now on. If you are considering this shoe, don't wait another minute.

These are great shoes; excellent fit and great comfort. They are so light and flexible. The best way to describe them is, it feels like you are walking in bare feet, but with protection between your foot and the ground. Bought 3 pairs from Zappos, love 'em!

Forget all the other brands, this is by far the best shoe I've owned, hands down. It's comfortable, fits well, stays cool and looks great. This shoe also doesn't have the tall heel like many sports shoes having reminding you to plant your foot correctly when running or jogging.

I have been using these shoes strictly for indoor crossFit training for about 4 weeks. This is my first pair of light weight training shoe and I love them. I have flat feet and I rarely feel any discomfort while using these shoes. I ordered a half sized down (as recommended) and it was perfect fit. I will most likely be buying another pair next year.

Amazing shoes! I've had them for about a month now, and I can already tell a huge difference. I have really flat feet, and I'm a big guy, 330lb, so running has always been painful, but I've noticed a huge difference with these shoes!

I have been using this shoe for approx one month doing Crossfit. Very functional for all Crossfit movements. First experience with inov-8 shoes, and would definitely recommend to others. Also, Zappos customer service/delivery was great.

I have large flat feet. Most shoes make me cramp in the soles of my feet. These shoes fit like socks (I can barely feel them on my feet) no more foot cramps and better workouts. I highly recommend them.

I think what helped me decide on sizing was comparing to other brands/shoes. I wear these with athletic socks, not the standard tube sock or compression sock (thinner). I wear a size 9M in the Nike Free Run 5.0's, I wear a size 9M in Reebok Nano 2.0 and 3.0, I wear a size 8M in Chuck Taylor's and in the Inov-8 195 F-Lite I wear a size 8M/9.5W. These feel even roomier than my Nike Free Run 5.0's (pretty narrow feel/I could wear without socks.) I have a pretty wide foot and the toe box is definitely roomy! These are so light...it feels like you are only wearing a sock. I actually measured my foot for the most accurate result and looked at the brand name size charts. I love these shoes and they are great for CrossFit WODs, I can feel that 'Fascia Band' feature. My next purchase would be the one with RopeTec.

I bought these for a 5k obstacle course mud run and I couldn't of been happier. They were completely covered in mud when I finished. I rinsed them a little bit and scrub them clean at home and you would never know. They cleaned up perfect and are in excellent shape. They will last multiple runs. I didn't slip, they didn't hold water, and were comfortable. I bought a half size smaller than my normal shoe like suggested and they fit perfect. I would and will buy again and would highly recommend them.

These shoes are light and comfortable. They're my second pair and will be the only type of running shoe I buy for the foreseeable future. It takes a little time to get used to the minimalist cushioning, but once you do, they are great.

I can't say enough good things about these shoes. The only downside to them is the bright red flame color, but after a while I got used to it. They have great traction on packed trail and wet rocks. They are very lightweight and keep your legs from getting fatigued on long trail runs. I've done a 20 mile trail rusn in them and my feet felt excellent afterward. Another great shoe from Inov-8

I love these shoes. I use them for endurance training and crossfit workouts. The only problem is rope climbs eat the soles of these shoes alive. I have to use a different pair of shoes for rope climbs - the bottom arch is just too soft. I usually have trouble with my right tendon on the outer edge of my foot. That feels great when I run in these. I have not run distances over two miles in these shoes. Otherwise, they are great for all the other work out things I do and every once in awhile they double as sneakers to work when I am running around hospital floors. Enjoy!

Simple. Great shoe! I wear them to do my workout routines and run on the treadmill. Very minimalistic feel for running. If you're not used to that feel, I don't recommend them. I will definitely buy another pair.

This shoe looks great. very comfortable and very very light. it hugs your foot if you get the right size probably half a size shorter than your regular sneaker size. I recommend you get a good pair of socks to go with it.
