Very comfortable and whisper light. Due to the low heel lift, they do take a little getting used to in the calf/achilles area. They seem a little bit long and a little bit narrow but not so much as to cause problems.

I've heard a ton of great things about inov-8 shoes and I was really excited to get my very first pair. During my first workout I really felt a difference when lifting weight and running. It's a great shoe to lift weight in because you truly feel your feet planted to the ground. As a running shoe, I think it's something that I have to get used to -- but nothing negative. I would definitely buy another pair of inov-8 shoes.

I love the feel of these. I bought them for CrossFit and I love feeling close to the ground. Extremely lightweight.

I purchased these shoes to wear while doing CrossFit. These shoes are excellent for that type of workout. I have flat feet and when I wear these shoes it feels like I am walking on a cloud. They fit like a glove, breathe great and make my feet happy. I strongly recommend them. They are a little spendy, but you get what you pay for.

I got it for my picky 17 year old son. He approves it. So I consider it a big success. I personnaly love how they look.

If you are into crossfit or any type of weight training I could not recommend these shoes enough! This was my first pair of barefoot style running shoes and I could not be happier. These shoes are absolutely perfect for performing squats and deadlifts. They keep your heels planted and feet flat, requiring you to maintain the correct form for performing these lifts. Honestly these are the best weight training shoes I have had to date. As far as any other type of crossfit exercises, look no further then these shoes. I do box jumps, burpees, power cleans and every other crossfit exercise you can think of and these have exceeded my expectations in every way. The only exercise I have not tried these out on is rope climbs, but for all other exercises they are five stars. I have never run in barefoot style shoes before so I was unsure on how I would adapt. But as soon as you take your first stride your body automatically goes into its natural running style (toe to heel). If you are not used to this style of running I would recommend breaking these shoes in a bit before you take on a 6-10 mile run. My first run I did a 5k and my Achilles & quads were quite sore after so I had to rest for a few days before trying to run again. The first week you may be a bit sore but after that it is smooth sailing! They have also helped to support my knees more then any other running shoe (I had Asics before these and these are a lot better). Sorry for the long review but I absolutely love these shoes! I highly recommend them! Keep on training!

Awesome Crossfit shoes! Love! I checked "felt wider than marked" below because I have a wide foot and this is the first pair of sneakers I bought ever that don't feel tight out of the box. I usually have to "break in" sneakers. Not these! Perfect from day 1.

I love this shoe! I bought the F-Lite 195 for winter running in northern Vermont. The treads are great for packed snow. I tried the talons but they seemed like way to much for roads (I run 50/50 road and trails). I sized up 1/2 size to deal with the narrow fit, which is an unfortunate characteristic of Inov8 shoes. I have average width feet and they are fine. I only started running in minimalistic shoes recently. I needed these as my NB Minimus (Outdoor) didn't have sufficient grip for our slushy, messy roads and trails. These aren't tremendously waterproof but they are better than average, mesh sneakers. They are insanely light and a lot of fun to run in. I highly recommend them!

Great. Just great. Fit very well although I'm a bit concerned about the thinner sole and how long it will last. But I will buy again. Get many compliments on the look and color.

I run about 20 miles a week and previously had a pair of Brooks running shoes (rated best running shoe in 2011 by Runners Mag). Those shoes were horrible and gave me insane blisters on both long runs and sprint runs. I was worried these Inov-8s weren't going to provide enough cushion and support and would also give me lots of blisters. These shoes are amazing though! One small blister when I first got them, but now totally perfect. Light weight and comfy I could run all day in these shoes. I had never even heard of Inov-8 before I got this shoe, but so happy I took a chance. Inov-8 wearer for life!

Great for minimalist running, especially if you still prefer to wear a full shoe. Feels narrow.

Love these shoes. Just ran a few miles after opening them, great feel. This is exactly what I've been searching for. If you need a minimalist shoe that gives you more protection and support than your 5 fingers for those longer, multi-surfaced runs, look no further. The rubber sole is amazing, great spongy feel while maintaining the barefoot feel. I will definitely be purchasing another pair!

This is one of the most incredible shoes I've ever owned. They are lightweight, flexible, and extremely comfortable. I've been an athlete for a long time, but I just recently converted to this minimalist shoe and I can't begin to describe the difference it makes in running, cross-training, and weightlifting. Truly a phenomenal shoe. However, I think they run a little on the long side. (I say long and not large because the width is pretty narrow for the length). However, I usually range from size 10-11 in womans, though most 10's are snug. However, a 10 in this shoe has plenty of room.

I love these shoes. I have a couple other pairs of inov-8 but these are just fun because of the colors. I cross fit and wear them for everything. I would recommend them for anyone and Zappos is the best place to buy from. They make shipping easy and quick.

I received the shoes about a week ago, and have been training and running with them since. So far they have performed as promised. They do fit us wider-footed folks a little snug, but overall I am happy with the purchase so far.

Seriously the best shoe in the light category. True to size and excellent overall fit. I use the F-lite not only for gym but also significant trail running. I plan on trying the other series as well. This is my go to shoe.

I wear a Nike UK 10/US 11 very comfortably for running, and after some trial and error, I found the Innov-8 size for me was UK 9/US 10. Purchased for CrossFit workouts. These are absolutely excellent CF shoes. I felt a difference all around the first time. They are great for short runs (less than two miles), and lots of lifting, but deadlift is where these shoes really shine. They are stable, comfortable, and all over good fit. If you cannot go barefoot, this is your best choice for pad protection with minimal koosh. Various CrossFit blogs/sites rate these shoes number one for all around performance. The graphics are a bit loud, but I am being nitpicky.

Love these shoes! Upgraded from Asics Kayano's to these and have ran 9 miles the first week with no soreness issues. Showing that it's a great transition shoe from the traditional running shoe if you're trying to go to barefoot type running. I also use for Crossfit 5 days a week and they really are the perfect shoe! Love the Blue with red and white, they're a huge hit at my box!

Nice and light. They are a bit large and look more manly than I would like. Going to try the next size down. Giving style 3 starts bc of the men's/ unisex style.

Fantastic shoes regardless of whether you Crossfit. Incredibly lightweight and comfortable. I also tried the Merrell Barefoot Pace and the New Balance WT-20 and found the inov-8s had the least slip in the heel and the most natural (ie no padding in strange places) footbed. I usually wear a 9.5 in athletic shoes but the 9 fit better in these (should be snug).

These are great looking and fitting shoes. They are excellent runners for pavement or groomed trail. The low heel encourages proper form. The shoes are well ventilated and the fit is good with a nice generous toebox to avoid bruised nails on long runs. These are very thoughtfully designed shoes.

The Inov-8 F-Lite 195 are exceptional workout shoes. These were purchased for my Crossfit needs and I am extremely pleased with the product. Zappos customer service as well as delivery was exceptional as well. These shoes receive 5 stars from me!

Love these! I tend to buy running shoes at least a 1/2 size larger than my street shoes...but with these I don't think I needed to. My next pair (and there will be a next pair!) I'll go down a 1/2 size. Love them for CrossFit and have had no problems running distances in them. I get tons of compliments on the color/style.
