These were giant, got my regular size 10 and my foot slid around in a way that it just felt like a smaller size still wouldn't have worked. returned.

Buyer beware these are men's sizes, despite Zappo marking "women's size" on the order page. I wanted a woman's size 10, which Zappos marked as my "suggested size" but a men's size 10 arrived. (I ordered a second pair, size 11, also marked "women's" on the Zappos page, just in case - but this was also a men's size boot.) The boots are well made and I wish they'd arrived as a woman's size boot.

I am 5' 2" but have dwarf calves (wider than they are tall) and very thick ankles. This is a great boot, but the calves were too small. Great for people with normal calves, but if you have super wide like I do, find another boot.

LOVE these WARM boots! After my old Sorel snow boots finally bit the dust (about 20 years after I got them, and after having repaired them in Montreal at a cobbler twice!) it was time to say goodbye to those old friends and invest in a new pair of boots. All is well now! These are now my go-to boots to slide on to take my 2 dogs out for walks in the Northern New York snow and ice! Today, temps are in single digits and we have plenty of ice underneath the snow, so the boots got a really good tread-test, and passed with flying colors. Initially, I ordered size 9, as I'm an 8.5, but the 9s were massive, so I ordered the same boot in size 8. At the same time, I decided to try some other cold-weather boots, to be sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. I ordered Baffin Snowgoose, Kamik New York 2, and Baffin Iceland boots, and while I liked the styling very much on the New York 2s, and they were quite comfortable (size 9 was right for my feet in those), the Kanucks were far and away the bestfor my needs--Dog walking and trudging over ice and in the snow, into mud and puddles in the spring, I don't want to worry about pretty suede--and the tread on the bottom of these Kanucks is awesome on all terrain. There's nice arch support, the wool lining is super warm and soft. These boots will last me for a long time, I know.

Terrible boots. HUGE! I wear a 9 usually in Kamiks. Ordered a 9, should have ordered down at least one size. Also, liners were too short by about two inches. (That is, only came to two inches below top of boot.) Returned. Disappointed in Zappos return policy, BTW - they only allow you to drop off package at UPS or USPS - you cannot request that UPS/USPS pick up from your address. So if you don't have a car or live or work near a UPS or USPS facility, you're in for a very inconvenient experience. Amazon at least gives you the option to have UPS pick up the package for a small fee that is deducted from your refund. I may use Zappos again but only if I'm very sure I'm going to keep what I order.
