I got these boots because I needed good ice traction along with a snow boot. I have worn a true size 11 and no other size since I was about 14, and this boot is huge on me! Size down if that will be a problem, but I didn't bother sending mine back as the elastic on the ankle part can be tightened, so that's what I do so my foot won't slip out. Other than that, I love them and they provide excellent traction on ice.

These boots definitely feel warm and cozy, we live at over 8,000 feet and I love the durability but they were too small. I am a 9.5 and ordered a 9 based on other reviews I had read, but it's just a bit too small even with no socks. I feel the 10 will be too big but I may give it a try. However, Zappos you rock for your speedy service!

Yes, this is a work boot...well constructed. I am a 11.5 with a narrow foot, the 10 worked fine. The boot is wide so I put a after factory insole in it with a good arch support. Heel box is wide. They are very warm and work perfect in deep snow when I go into the yard or walk the dog prior to a snow plow. And, yes they are heavy but since it is a utility boot that is fine with me. I did wait until they went on sale though.

I am a true 11.5. These boots were HUGE and I had to keep them due to an emergency. I put a pair of Superfeet in them to help and they are still too big and too wide. They work great in the deep snow and are very well insulated. Easy to slip off and on. Great traction. They are a little on the heavy side, but it is essentially a work boot and not a fashion boot. I think that I will take mine to the consignment shop and order a size 9.5 or 10. They are very useful is snow country!

These boots are very toasty, and tall, which keeps out rain and snow. I got them in white. I typically wear size 11 shoes and sneakers. The 11 allows plenty of room for thick socks, but without thick socks they do feel large.

These are a great toasty boot with rugged sole, plenty of arch support and a snug fit. Being a true 9.5 in size, I originally ordered the 10 and was floating. I thought the 9's would be too small but they are perfect. For the modest price, I'm ok with sacrificing style points.

I ordered 4 pairs of Kamik boots, all in size 9. I wear 8.5 and like room to wiggle my toes, and thick socks. My feet were swimming in these, so I double checked to make sure they were not size 10, as all of the other size 9 were snug. Indeed, they were a size 9.

These boots are very bulky. The liner fits true to size; however, because the outer part is so big, I am returning this item. These would be perfect for someone who lives in a continuous snowy environment. As I am just using them to just play in the snow and chase my toddler, I need something a little smaller.

I really wanted to have these boots fit. They did not fit in the whole sizes and do not come in half sizes. Also, there is no support or forming for the bottom of your foot. I wear a 10 wide in Brooks GTS women's. The Canuk 9 was too snug and the 10 was too big. I ended up going with the Bear XT Sorrels, a men's boot, size 8. The width and length are perfect on those! Thanks, Zappos, for great customer service in helping me find the right boots! I gave five stars for style because they are the style that I wanted - functional and warm to my knees. To bad the length and width did not work.

I ordered my size 8 in these boots, and like the other reviewers, found them to be big in the heel. I may have to order a SIZE SMALLER.

This boot would be good for snowmobiling but it is NOT 100% waterproof (the top half of the boot). This would not be a good boot to wear if you had to walk through water or slushy snow. Your feet would get wet.

If you are normally a half size, order down. I wear an 8.5, ordered a 9 thinking socks would take up any excess space. Wrong. They are huge.

I have a narrow foot, and no arch. They fit perfect with a thick (or double layer) sock, which is what I'm looking for. Unfortunately, they are going back because I don't think they're going to be warm enough for Fairbanks, AK. Other boots I tried were more comfortable and insulated.

I am a size 7, and I have a triangular-shaped Egyptian foot (big toe = longest toe), wide at the toes. I ordered size 7 and found these boots to be too tight at the toes and too loose on the heel, so I have to return them. I wish they fit me because the shoe itself looks well-constructed and would keep you warm. The liner is good/warm-looking and goes up to the top cinch. I found it interesting that these were assembled in USA or Fabrique in Canada depending on whether you looked at the shoebox or the sole of the boot, respectively.

On the heavy side and runs very long...would have exchanged for a size smaller but it was an emergency situation. I technically wear a 11.5, this boot felt like a very large 12 and was wide...easy to slip off and on.

These seem sturdy and like they'd keep my feet dry and warm in the snow. However, they were large, clunky, and wide, and allowed my heel to slide around a bit even when the ankle straps were tightened. (I typically wear only shoes that come in Wide for my regular, indoor footwear, so I'm not actually a narrow-footed person.) These seem more like scaled versions of men's boots rather than boots separately designed for woman-shaped feet. The Sorel Tivoli High boots that I ended up going with look much smaller and less clunky on my feet, and they fit my heels better. They also seem to have better arch support; or maybe my feet just feel more supported because the boots aren't too wide for me. I think the Sorels be more comfortable for my walking commute to work. If only they made the heels a bit narrower, I'd probably give these a try (in spite of the clunkiness - I'm not super fashionable!), because they seem like really solid snow boots. We've also had great luck with Kamik snow boots for my kids, so I was bummed that the women's version didn't work for me.

So heavy. They kept my feet warm and dry but through two feet of snow it was a task to lift my feet after a while. Felt like I had tires attached to the sole of my shoe.

the length was good but the boot is too narrow especially at the middle of foot where the arch of the foot is. the boot is very tight on the sides with a typical winter sock on which makes me worry my feet would get cold because it does not allow enough circulation. if this narrowness wasn't there I would love to keep these boots. I'm disappointed they don't have a wider width available

These were huge! The length was OK but they were so wide. I don’t know who these would fit. They seem well made though. I returned them.

Now that I'm really wearing them: too big and wide. Where lace is, it's cutting into my shin. too late to return I suspect, but mistake to have kept. was trying to replace old pair of Kamik's that were comfortable, similar, but really worn out. Something changed!

I ordered these in both an 8 and 9 because I am usually a size 8 1/2 in sneakers, sometimes a 9. They were so big I though they were mis-marked mens. I really wanted these to work, but I fear even a size 7 would not work. I ordered another size 8 Kamik boot and it fits really well. Not sure why this model is so roomy.

The boots were larger than expected. I liked that I could tighten the laces around the ankle, but where the shaft joined the top of the boot was stiff and uncomfortable. The liner removable.

I had bought this same pair of boot 3 times, the first pair was a size 9 & mind you that is my normal size next to a size 8 but it was very large on my feet way to big & so was the size 8, & then the size 7 was also too big . Don't buy this or just go 5 sizes down from your normal size. Overall the boots looks really nice, I would have liked it if it is had fit.
