Got these just in time for the great NYC blizzard of December '10. Love them already! True to size, and most importantly for me, they kept my feet warm and dry. I walked around in snowbanks and slush for about an hour in 35 degree weather, and my feet actually felt a little warm (but not sweaty/gross), which was a lovely surprise. They don't feel super bulky or heavy like many snow boots do. Treads were great, even on icy spots on the sidewalk.

Great winter boot! This Kamik women's Canuck is made in Canada (thumbs up) and will keep you warm, dry and steady through the harshest winter. It's also comfortable, and a good weight.

I ordered these and the Comforter (same Make), hoping the Canucks would win. I ordered an 8, and am a solid 8.5. They are still too big. I have thin ankles and thin calves, I believe my ankles would feel supported in the proper size, but there was significant room in the calf area. I would not be comfortable with all the extra room/it felt clumsy. The boot itself is sturdy. In trying them on, the Comforter was more warm. I will be returning this product and keeping the Comforter. Note: I ordered a 9 in the Comforter and it was a good fit. What's up with the size variance within the same brand?!

These boots are made for deep snow and really cold winters. Having a bad winter here in the Midwest and it does the work! Only wish the laces can be tucked away. Overall an excellent choice if you want comfort and great protection against the snow and cold.

I followed jute recommendations and got a size larger then my current size. Way way too big. Will be returning and trying the smaller size.

I normally wear an 8.5/9 in athletic shoes and ordered these in a 9. They were just a little too big and the 8s were not in stock to try. The cinch at the ankle wasn't tight enough for me--I have pretty slender ankles. The top cinch was great for keeping out snow and they felt pretty warm while wearing them around the house. They just weren't the right size, so I am returning them.

this boot runs two full sizes larger - i measured, and the women's 9 is the size of a men's 9 according to the kamik size chart (also, i own a pair of the canucks from a few years ago in a women's 9, and i had to order a 7 this time to get the right size)...other than that, they're a great boot...

I used these to stand in the snow painting at an easel 3-4 hours at a time for a workshop. I wore 5 pairs of socks under them and my toes still froze, even with the liners. Also, they are quite hard and not cushiony. However, they were the cheapest ones I found, and once I added toe warmers to my socks they worked. IF you were just tromping through the snow, not standing still for hours, they'd be fine. They are very waterproof.

I love my new boots! My feet are never cold and are great for working outdoors. The only drawback is they are a bit bulky, but as far as I'm concerned, they are more than functional. I also loved that shipping is free, including return shipping. Originally, I ordered two different pairs of boots which I returned with the help of a customer service rep,who was more than helpful. My experience with Zappo was excellent.

Very narrow on the instep. My feet aren't wide, but they cut into the side of my arch.

These seem enormous and bulky. My size 8 was nearly as large outside as a pair of Tretorns for my husband in size 11. Liner is probably the cause. Except maybe in Alaska, don't think that much is needed. For Mid-Atlantic, I'll be getting the Bogs instead.

These boots were huge so I had to return them. I think I could have kicked them right off my foot. They looked like Frankenstein feet, but I know they would have been really warm. I hated to return them but could hardly walk they were so huge and bulky. Shame.

They're huge. I ordered them in size 7 (normally I wear 7 1/2 - 8) and they are just huge. I ordered a different pair of Kamik snow boots which came today, in size 8 and they are much much smaller than these. This pair is going back.

First off, Zappos customer service is amazing. However, I did not like this boot. I am a size 10. The heel to toe length was fine. However, the actual space around the ankle was to much. I walked around my house and my foot was slipping in and out. They are a little clunky on the bottom, as a snow boot should be and they seem like they would have good traction in the snow. The issue for me was once I pulled the bottom laces tight (not too hard to do) they were too long and I tripped over them. If that happened in the one minute they were on my feet, who knows what would happen if I kept them. I wanted to like these - they seemed warm and look cute. They may fit better on smaller footed people. My son has the Green Bay (I think that's the name) pair and we love them. Good luck on your boot quest. I just ordered two other pairs to find my dream snow boots.

Pros: kept my feet warm and dry. You could stomp through snow and puddles and not feel a drop. Cons: They weigh a ton. I feel like a stormtrooper in these and the shoe part doesn't have much shape, so there is zero support. The laces don't really do much to conform it to the foot and they are really heavy - it's like walking in cement shoes. I guess for walking in heavy snow, it wouldn't be a comfortable step anyway so they are better than nothing.

Cheaper than Sorel...why? Because the material around is very thin compare to the Sorel Snowlion. Don't get it if you want a boot that will keep you warm and last many years. I had to return these boots...they are cheaper for a reason.

When I pulled these out of the box, I was sure they sent me a men's size instead. But it appears it is the women's size. Compared to any other boots I own, the sole is about twice the size. For my height (5'2") the shaft was too tall and the foot was too big for these to ever be comfortable. They definitely look warm, though!

These are so huge that when they arrived in size 9, my husband (men's size 10) tried them on and said they only pinched a little. It's not just the size, but the style as well. I wasn't exactly expecting anything delicate, but I was definitely not expecting them to be so enormously clunky.

Love these boots for our MN winters. They have a very thick sole and waterproof exterior. Plenty of room for thick wool socks

I wear a size 71/2 in boots. I ordered a size 8 due to other reviews I have read and the fit was what I expected. They are great walking boots with room for thicker socks. I recommend to anyone who is thinking of purchasing this product.

I wear a size 71/2 boot. I ordered a size 8 and it has enough room for thicker socks. The boot is comfortable to walk in too. I recommend this boot to anyone who is considering on purchasing them.

I like these for the utility of them, but I'm usually an 8.5 or 9 women's (medium width) and these are very big. Maybe a full size even (which I marked here) but at least a half-size larger, and that's with my thicker Champion socks on that I often wear with boots. I like the quality. Made in the USA. Rugged. Reminds me of a very old Sorel pair that has ripped. I also got the Mens size 8 to try, also huge- but I guess I should've known better.

I ordered the 10 B but upon delivery it was to long (width was OK though). I figured after the felt was broke in it would be even larger. Zappos customer service on the phone was very courteous and accommodating rushing the 9 B out to me quickly. They really care about their customers. I received the 9 B the next day! My foot heel to toe measures 10.2 inches and on the size chart it showed I needed a size 10. The 9 B fits well. So irregardless of the size chart measurement you may want to order the next smaller size in this brand, model and style. At least in my case this worked. Some brands offer half sizes but Kamik doesn't. I know Sorrel offers half sizes from some retailers but not all.
