I ordered a size nine thinking I’d need the room and returned them for size eight. The run big. These boots are my go to ice fish boots.

A reasonably priced boot that will keep your feet warm and dry. Good traction in snow. Sized to accommodate heavy sox while still maintaining good circulation to keep your toes warm! Give the wool liner a few wearings to mold to your feet and they will be easier to get on and become very comfortable.

Great boots at a terrific price. We get piles of snow then rivers of slush where I live so getting my boots on and off hassle-free was my criteria. I was also looking for a step in boot with lace-up since my (size 7.5) foot is quite narrow. Ordered the 8; with its super padded insole and winter socks, with a little cinch on the laces, I'm set to go.

Love these for snow! Hiked 3 feet is snow and my feet remained dry and toasty. Got tons of compliments. Would recommend for those who want a good off road boot for winter.

Best. Snow boots. Ever. They will keep your feet warm and dry and keep you upright on the iciest surfaces. They're a little roomy, but that's great if you want to wear thick, warm socks underneath.

I love these boots! They have kept my feet toasty warm during our polar vortex winter season. They feel a bit tight when you first try them on but after breaking them in they are perfect.

These would be the perfect snow boots if I could get them in my size and they were not so freaking white. But the felt liner should be plenty warm without packing down like shearling does, and the outer boot is waterproof with a gator type top for keeping out the snow. They are a great design for keeping feet dry, warm, and cushioned. There is also support and protection from the firm body of the boots.

I bought these boots two years ago when I moved from sunny So Cal to Northern New Mexico where the lows get into the single digits in winter. To this day, I think the Kamiks are one of the best things I own. Like people say, there's no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate shoes. These are durable. They are getting me through my third winter here and still going strong. The grip is great in snow and decent on ice. They are warm with thick insulation and enough room to add extra socks if you need it. They are stylish in the sense that they look like they mean business, ie, keeping your feet warm and protected in any condition. They don't, however, look like dainty ballerina boots. I especially like that you can just stick your feet into them, almost like big winter slippers, which is super convenient for running outside for firewood without messing with laces for five minutes. You can use the laces to cinch them up tight, though I've rarely needed to do that. I'd recommend these boots to anyone who really wants something warm and durable. Serious boots for serious weather.

Loved the style, workmanship, and weight of these boots (not too heavy). HOWEVER, my heel was swimming in this boot, while the front half of the boot fit more snugly that I would have preferred. I had to return them because of the heal issue. Really wish they could have worked out as I loved the slim look of them for an otherwise rugged boot.

My children and I have had these boots for years and there is no boot out there that will keep your feet warmer in any weather. They have not worn inside or out and we are outdoor folks. If you need something warm and functional, look no further.

These boots are great. I bought them to wear in Alaska in March. I was standing on snow in below zero temperatures and my feet were comfortable. I highly recommend them. I bought them in an 8 although I wear a 71/2 so as to have room for heavy socks.

Great boots! I wore them on a trip to Antarctica and they were great! Very comfortable walking, great traction in penguin poop and totally waterproof through multiple "wet landings"!

The Kamik Canuck boots are as ordered. Order process and delivery came without a hitch. I will have to return them as the size is wrong for my daughter but I will be ordering another pair through Zappos. Thanks for great service.

Bought these for my wife who works outside with dogs most of the year. We always have trouble finding boots that can stand through a whole season of heavy use in extreme temperatures. So far these boots have been the only ones worth investing in. Sturdy, warm, dry, and comfortable. You can't ask for more from a winter boot.

This is a legitimate review. A lot are not. I really like this boot but I need a size 12 in womens which they do not sell. My left foot is about a half size bigger than my right foot and that is the problem. My foot just doesn't rest right in the boot. The same has happened in other shoes which then contributes to the beginnings of plantar fascitis on my left foot. I needed the boot for potential subzero temps and if I were able to layer socks, the boot may have lived up to its ability to keep feet warm at subzero temps. The lining is thick and nice. But it was just too small on the left foot. I think the 11 would have worked on my right foot even with thick socks but not on my left. So if you have a true 11 foot as a woman, they probably won't work for you if you want to layer for extra warmth. The lining is a bit narrow at the heel as well. I found the toe box to be ok(on the right) and I have somewhat of a wide foot, though I normally wear regular width shoes, not wide. They are a bit bulky but not horribly. I based my purchase on the reviews of others, took a chance and I believe I would have kept them had the left foot fit. I honestly think it's a good boot.

I normally wear a size 7.5-8 in shoes and I read a bunch of reviews in advance of purchasing this boot, to determine which size would probably work for me. I ended up ordering an 8, to accommodate thicker socks, but the boot is still a little bit too big on my foot. It slides around too much in the heel, and the boot shaft ended up rubbing my shin raw in one spot. Otherwise, these boots would be great. They're warm and comfortable and easy to get in and out of.

I’m normally an 8.5 so I ordered my usual 9 for boots, but these were huge! There was no way to tighten them enough to avoid ankle slippage. Even after exchanging them for an 8 and trying extra thick socks they were still too big. I really wanted to like them because they seem warm and utilitarian, but sizing is way off.

I bought this to replace and older Kamik boot that had very similar style lines, just less big of a lug sole. It's the perfect winter boot - easy to pull on and off and very warm. The old pair is a size 9, I normally wear an 8, but the boot is roomy enough to have on thick sock even with the inner boot. I ordered a 9 and 8 in this newer version and they were both way too big - I thought I had accidentally ordered men's sizes. Comparing the foot of the new size 8 to the old size 9, it was a full inch longer. A bit of overkill. I'm not sure whether to try a 7 or a 6 - very strange sizing!

This is an ok basic pac boot. It os probably the cheapest reasonably-good quality pac boot out there. Unfortunately I could tell that it will not be warm enough for my needs, which includes shoveling and other outside work when it is as low as -10°F (-25°C). So I will need to return these, and shop for a colder-rated boot. However I still recommend these for anyone looking for a basic, relatively inexpensive pac boot from a respected maker, for cold (but not frigid) weather. Fit was true to size for me (women's size 7 M). Easy to step into and to take off. Quality is somewhat below equivalent Baffins, but it os a better value for the price.

I normally wear a size 8, but initially I got a 9 to make room for sock liners and heavy socks, which are a necessity in Minnesota's below-zero temps. The 9 was huge, even with double socks, so I tried the 8. They fit very well, were very comfortable to walk in, and didn't pinch my toes at all (pinched toes=frozen toes). There would be enough room for toe-warmers too. Unfortunately, when I cinched the top, the heavy fabric scraped at my legs to the point of being unbearable. I would normally be wearing long johns under snow pants if it were cold enough for these boots, but then I imagined my long johns getting shredded by the abrasive fabric. I suppose if you were only going to wear them over tucked-in jeans this wouldn't be a problem. I also noticed the liner has a gap in the front, so there would be only the fabric between the cold and my legs. These seemed promising, but they are going back.

Not very attractive, but a good buy if you value function over fashion during bad weather. Good, sturdy construction. Keeps your feet warm and dry. Runs big. I normally wear an 8.5, so I ordered a 9, but it's way too big. I recommend ordering down if you're a half size.

Great sturdy snow boots, but they were HUGE on me, I ordered an 8 but usually wear a 7.5. I will reorder a 7.5 and with thick socks I think they will work well. not stylish, but seem built for snow and ice, and so I could walk in them in those conditions.
