Best boots I've ever bought! So good. I actually bought these expecting to return them (really hoping I wouldn't like them) because I try not to spend this much on boots but I had to see them. I'm so glad I did!

Love these boots. Quality leather. I love the style. So comfortable, I wore them all day. Was hesitant to buy because of the price, but they were worth it. Thank you Zappos!

I was not sure that I would like these at first. I was looking for boots that would fit my wide feet and be comfortable. I love these boots, I ordered half a size up from my normal size, and a wide. I did not want to take these off. I have somewhat wide calves, and I just keep the top eyelets unlaced, and that feels perfect to me. I just zip them up when I need to put them on. They are perfect for rainy days at work and nights when I want to dress up. I love these!

First of all, a big "ups" to Zappos and UPS for delivering this item in less than 24 hours! I ordered it 11 pm and received it next day at 2:30pm. You guys rock! OK, the boots are pretty awesome, but I may be biased as these are my first official "splurgy" pair of boots. I heeded the advice of other reviewers and ordered a full size up but kept the width regular. I think I made the right call. The beauty of these boots is the option to loosen the laces if it's too tight to slip over my monstrous 13.75" calves. They fit just about right and I don't anticipate a long breaking-in period. The foot area feels good and allows room for thicker socks if needed. The shaft is just slightly loose, but that can be adjusted whenever...Love the overall style and can see wearing them in all different types of scenarios.

I love these shoes they are amazing! Awesome looking, super comfortable and I get tons of compliments on them. You definitely can't have thick calves to wear these though, I have skinny legs so I was surprised that these fit so well!

I am a true medium width 7 1/2 shoe wearer. This shoe fit me perfectly. I never needed to "break" this shoe in. The leather is soft and sturdy in the right places. I walked FOREVER in this shoe and nary a cramp. True comfort and absolutely stylish. No regrets. A perfect boot all around.

Best boots EVER! I am usually a standard 8M and these fit just right. My calves are wide (runner) but the lacing on these means they would fit almost anyone. SO comfortable, great quality (it's Timberland!) and love the way they look with jeans tucked in or out. If you have shorter legs - I'm 5'5 and mine are on the short side and these are perfect, as they hit mid-calf and don't make you look short. LOVE these boots!

Granted, I just took these out of the box, but they fit my skinny chicken legs so well that I can even put them under my jeans. Since I usually have to buy girls' boots (like the terrible-quality Madden Girl). I'm considering this nothing short of a miracle.

The boot looks great and is quite comfortable. I wear a size 11 and as others have stated they are rather narrow. As I have a narrow foot this wasn't a problem and the slender look helps them look more feminine. A definite plus at my size.

Very cool boots, and seemed pretty comfy. The wide fit me perfectly, and they seem well made. I ended up going with the Earthkeepers Bethel Buckle Tall Zip instead though.

These are my very favorite boots. I'm on my second pair of the past three years (I also have a pair in a different color). I wear them all the time; they're sturdy, really comfortable, and strangers on the street frequently tell me about how awesome they are, because THEY ARE. The soles peel up a little after several months or so of hard wear; I take them to a cobbler, who fixes them up for very little money, and then they're good for another several months.

The leather on these boots is amazing...however, the rubber on the bottom of the heel began peeling off almost immediately. Comfortable, cute, but re-glueing the heel daily is ridiculous for such pricey boots. I expected a bit better craftsmanship on a pair of Timberlands.

Ordered these on advice of good friend, ordered wide for orthotic and these are pleasantly wide and size runs true (I am finding other brands run small); they are very comfortable and I have a larger calf and laces make an easy fit. Leather is very good quality; functional and stylish with dresses/skirts in winter.

I adore these boots! They look beautiful in person, combining a bit of edge with a very classic color. The soles feel sturdy and as if they'll last quite a while, which is a problem that I've had with boots in the past. Timberland have combined the toughness of their plain work boots into a stylish, very wearable boot here. As the other reviewers mentioned, it is quite narrow. I ordered a half size up and the boots fit perfectly, although they are a bit snug in the calf area when I'm wearing thicker socks. This can easily be rectified by loosening the laces or purchasing longer ones. There isn't much of an arch either, but a simple insole could help with that.

I adore these boots. I got the medium width 6 brown. I was looking for the perfect combat, and these are it. Sturdy, no loud wooden heels, adjustable, stylish and keeps me warm in a Utah winter! I have medium sized calves and ankles and it fits fine. There is plenty of lace to adjust to your leg size. I feel like I could go hiking in these and out to town too! Versatile and cute. If you're on the fence, get 'em. Worth it. The sizing is funny, I actually went down a size, so I recommend ordering a variations of size/width to see what works best for you.

I absolutely love these boots. They are absolutely adorable and comfortable from the moment I first put them on. In fact I am still wearing them. They make a weird sticking sound when I walk, so hopefully this will go away. Excellent workmanship and details I wear a 10½ and ordered a size 11. That leaves room for thick socks. They are worth the money and I am so excited that they arrived so quickly. Thanks, Zappos!

Most comfortable boot. Perfect heel height. No break on time!

I have had this boot for two years and they still look great. I used to wear them bartending - my feet never hurt! Beware - I usually wear a size 7 1/2 but these shoes require a size 7 - get a size down. Now for the big test - I had a stroke last year. I can't wear heels (now...it's KILLING me), but now once it got colder, I pulled these boots out and I wear them all the time! People constantly think i'm wearing cute shoes again. The heel is tall enough that I am actually taller but yet they have great traction so wearing them is not difficult. I love them!

I love these boots! I was looking for a combat-style boot that I could adjust with laces since my calves are huge. I'd like to think it was all those years of dancing, but you know how it is. Anyway, I decided to take a chance because I loved the look of these - tough but still feminine. Anyway, my feet are a bit on the wide side, but I normally wear a medium width. I ordered these up a half size (a 10, for thick socks) and got the wide - they fit perfectly! The best part is they don't make my feet look enormous! I normally stay away from any shoe that has reviews saying it runs narrow just to be safe, but I'm so glad I took a chance on these - get them if you're on the fence! Zappos makes it so easy, too! If you are like me and have either a "wide-ish" foot and/or larger calf muscles, don't let that stop you from trying these - just order the wide since it seems to fit more like the medium width of other brands. Quality is fabulous, too!

I just received these and have been wearing them around the house for a few hours. They are amazingly comfortable! I have never purchased wide shoes before, but based on the reviews I purchased these in wide and am glad that I did. They fit perfectly. I wear a size 8 in Asics running shoes, Clarks, Born, and Sorel so that is the size I went with. This gives me a little extra toe room which I like. I'm wearing an ankle sock with these & I keep thinking I have long socks on they are so soft and comfortable. One reviewer mentioned that these shoe could work for men or women. I asked my husband and he said no way. They definitely look feminine. I could wear these to work with a Peruvian Connection look which is classic and sexy. I usually love styles with heels and that are a little edgy looking, but I do not actually like wearing heels. My feet are going to love these, especially being a distance runner. I am very happy with these boots. I got them in the reddish brown color. I do think the black would have looked a little more military than I would like.

The most comfortable boots right out of the box I have ever owned! Love them. And so impressed with Zappos customer service via chat. It is amazing and such a rarity these days. Really appreciate it.

I was really happy to get these boots. After checking reviews, I ordered them in a 10. I am a 10.5 and they fit great! I can walk in them all day and my feet are no worse for wear due to my footwear. I'm not too flashy so I usually wear them with bootcuts and they look beautiful...I've been asked to pull up my pants leg a few times by strangers while wearing them. For a stylish pop, wear them with leggings or skinny jeans. The Earthkeepers line is so fabulous. I only wish the other styles fit my foot as well. I give these boots an A+ and I'm sure you will agree. :-D

I love my new boots! I have high arches, and a terrible time finding boots that fit properly. These are perfect. Once the laces were adjusted to my feet/legs, it takes about 2 seconds to put on/take off the boots. I love the softness and flexibility they afford me. I wear them all the time, with jeans, leggings, and dresses. I get compliments everywhere I go. I will be wearing these for years to come!

Love these boots! Used to wear Timberlands years ago but had to stop because they were too narrow, so when I saw these came in a wide I had to take the chance. I was looking for boots to wear on the motorcycle that were higher than my hiking boots and that I could wear warm socks with in the winter. Normally I size up a 1/2 size because of the narrowness in most boots but I ordered these in my regular size in wide and they fit perfect. They're very comfortable, no break in, and the laces, the zipper and the buckle on the forefoot make them easy to customize. I've returned so many boots and shoes in the past (thanks Zappos!) while looking for the perfect one that I was not expecting them to fit this well and be this comfortable out of the box. I am highly pleased with my purchase and they're well worth the money.

I absolutely love these. I bought them specifically for an overseas trip as a comfortable pair of walking shoes, and they were perfect. After reading the other reviews I decided to go ahead and order my regular shoe size (6.5) regular width. they were snug in the ball of my foot but not uncomfortably so, and broke in quickly. I do not wear a wide width shoe and they fit just fine, but it is snug fitting, so if your feet are even slightly wider than a normal width shoe this might be too tight. I do not think this shoe runs small, nor do I think it is too narrow - but because it is on the snug side I am going to mark narrower than marked - only because while it fits wonderfully, it is not entirely what one might expect.
