The look of this boot is cute. However, I didn't like the fact that it wasn't lined on the inside. Also, the fit seemed to be a little off, as I couldn't find a size that fit properly.

These boots are great looking! I love them. However, the Wide size is so narrow I could hardly get my size 7.5 foot in an 8 wide. So sorry I won't be able to keep them.

Couldn't get my foot in- runs too small... length and width wise... I am a size 7 and I'm guessing I would have to get size 8 to fit in these boots.

(problem 1) Who in the world decided that the top of these boots should end at the fullest part of a woman's calf? If they were just 2" shorter or taller, they would look hot. As they are, they are ugly. (problem 2) The boot is quite narrow, so the most I could wear is a pair of tights or very thin trouser socks. (summary) What a shame, because these are amazing boots: great look, great leather, amazing style. I own and love several pairs of Timberland hiking boots and will try their fashion boots again, but this pair really disappoints.

This boot was much smaller than I expected. I normally wear a woman's size 5 (US). I purchased these in a 5 1/2 so I could wear think socks. It was way too tight. Also, I with the Timberland name I though these would be great boots for outdoors. However, the material seems very thin. It had the feel of a cheaply made boot. I've purchased boots for a price that seemed to be of much higher quality than these. A huge disappointment. No arch support, the pad was extremely thin, and the sole was extremely thin.

I love these boots so very much. They are comfortable and study. They are the perfect combination of simple and unique and I want them to last forever.

Best shoes I've ever worn in my life, assuming you're willing to have a few people think they're goth looking. I've gotten so many compliments on them (by guys, which is weird because they rarely compliment my clothing). Also, there's nothing I can't do in these boots - go outdoors/hiking, class, mall, work (kind of a stretch but I did it once). Very high priced item but these are the boots I've been looking for my whole life.

These are absolutely fabulous! I bought these half a size up after reading previous reviews (I did not get wide) and they fit perfectly. I do not like shoes too tight in the toe box and was a bit worried when ordering them, but they are not tight. When these arrived, I took them out of the box and wore them for the rest of the day. I had no problems. I received many compliments! I was looking for more substantial and nicer looking "combat style" boots and these absolutely fit the bill. I will wear them with skirts/dresses and leggings.

These boots are exactly what I imagined they would be. They fit great, don't make noises when I walk, they look amazingly sassy and I love them. I bought approximately 5-6 pairs of boots and returned all because of one thing or another, but these are the ticket for me. I was concerned about the toe box being too narrow because I'd read other reviews on these, but for me it's perfect. They have also relaxed a bit since I've been wearing them for about a month now. Love them.

Love at first sight! These boots arrived two hours before I left for a 10 day trip to London. I wore them onto the plane and about 12 hours a day the whole trip. I love them! They fit comfortably under bootleg jeans, look great with leggings and a skirt, no problems with fit. I am ordering a pair for my daughter.

These are the best boots ever. They fit like all my other Timberland boots, and have the early-mid '90s look that I grew up with. Always getting the best compliments on these.

My favorite boots! I live in Seattle wear it rains 8 months out of the year. I needed some boots that would survive the weather, keep my feet warm, provide traction on slippery surface all the while being a fashionable and attractive boot. This is it. I ordered in brown last year and it matches everything: skirts, jeans, fancy or casual and the brown is the perfect color to pop even as it is a neutral. I get compliments on my shoes all the time, even from guys! The only reason I take stars off is because while I walk everywhere an expected some wear, I hadn't walked 5 miles before the rubber sole began to separate from the shoe. I could deal with it, however, because this is really comfortable and really practical, and Timberland was great about providing a way to get them repaired, but honestly, I didn't have time to wait while they decided to repair or replace, so I never sent them in. I love it so much that I'm buying a second pair in black!

Looks way better in person than in the photo. Comfortable. Great quality. I'm an 8.5 & got an 8.5. Fits well. I did not notice a narrow toe box as some reviewers stated ( and I do NOT have narrow feet). They are not clunky. Its a feminine boot. I got black. ( The brown looked a bit weird in the photo so I got black ). Fits the calf ( as in, no gaping). They are expensive though. But the only other cute leather combat I saw was at 9 west & they're almost sold out. Fake leather is a waste of money when buying a classic style.

I've had these boots for 3 years and I still wear them a lot. They are cute and durable and adjustable because of the lacing. If your calves are skinnier or wider, it doesn't matter because you can just tighten the laces. I like that you can just zip them up to get them on easily. I like the buckle. I wear these at work or out. They're more expensive than some other boots but they are high quality.

Super cute and comfortable shoes. My only (small) complaint is I order W (wide) width and they were not as wide as I hoped. Other than that, perfect! Very good quality, worth the cost.

I love these boots. I only wish I had sprayed them first with something to protect then bc there is suede on the bottom sides & there was some residual snow, ice & salt on the ground when I wore them but it didn't mess them up too bad - nothing I own stays pristine for long. The traction was great on the ice. I love that they can be made tighter or looser.

I absolutely love these boots. They are perfect. I have small calfs and finally found perfect boots! They are so much fun to wear.

This is the perfect boot for me. I love them. This is a good design for people who may have some orthopedic issues -- the lacing in the front, the top buckle and the side zipper give me good control over getting into the boot and managing a secure, comfortable fit that is tailored to me. They are very comfortable and I can even fit my orthotics in them, which completely surprised me! I wasn't expecting to be able to do that. They are also a beautiful color and are an attractive boot.

I ordered a 6.5 Wide and I'm happy with the fit. It's great that they can be laced snugly against my 13" calves, or laced looser with leggings or pants. These boots work with a variety of calf sizes. The look could be made to be a bit steam punkish, according to my friend. The tongue can be left to hang out if you unlace them and take the laces out of the loops that hold them to the tongue for a punk look. Someone who wrote otherwise must not have examined the boots well. These are super cute with dresses in a dressed down look or with leggings/pants. I didn't have to break them in and they haven't given me blisters or discomfort. I've worn them quite a lot now. I like the matte leather contrasted with the shinier leather. I got them in brown.

Love, love, love these boots and wear them all the time. Very cute with skinny jeans or leggings! Pricey...but very good quality boots.

This boot is AMAZING! It can start out stiff in places, but it breaks in beautifully. I love that it has laces and a zipper, because I don't have to mess with the laces every time, but it lets me adjust the fit of it for my calf, and I can loosen or tighten them depending on whether I am wearing jeans or leggings! They are super cute, and I hope next year they make another color, because I would love to have them in a darker brown or something! They are pretty true to size, but I go between 8 and 8.5, and in these I was able to wear an 8. If I were a solid 8.5, I would have gone with that size for sure.

These boots are almost perfect. They are extremely comfortable and warm. The only reason I returned them is because none of my winter jackets match well.

These boots are a lot more comfortable than they may first appear. The leather seemed stiff when I tried them on, but after walking several miles in them all over all kinds of terrain, I can definitely say they're a worthwhile pair of boots. Solid, comfortable, and they look good, too.
