Incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I sprained my ankle just before a trip to Europe - my doctor said I should get lace-up boots for better support while walking. These boots were extremely comfortable, gave my ankles great support, look cute, and go with skinny jeans or skirts so they were versatile for the trip. I also bought these to try in the tan color, but liked the black/brown color best.

I love these boots! Very attractive and comfortable, either under pants or with leggings. Soft supple leather and easy on-off with addition of zipper. Really nice fit. You won't go wrong with these!

These are my favorite boots! They fit perfect to size and are so comfortable. I almost wear them every day. Well made. I have a thicker calf and this fit and look great.

Fantastic! Don't lace them all the way up. They do run small. Go up half a size. Comfy. Lots of compliments. Goes well with Gunex, Rivamonti, etc.

I have been searching for a cute pair of boots that I can wear with almost anything! I was especially looking for something that I could wear on the back of the bike and be comfortable in but still maintain some style. These boots are what I was looking for and I'm so glad I waited to find the right ones!! Great boots, I recommend them to anyone.

These boots fit no problem with thin wool socks, not sure why other reviewers have said they are narrow. I do think the 10 is a bit long, I'm wondering if I should get the 9.5 to compare. They are so cute though, I definitely recommend trying them out.

Mine are definitely at least half a size too small. I'm always an 8 each and every time. Very disappointing because the boot itself is quite darling. Back they go.

Oh, this boot is cute. I m not a rocker chick and I would say I have more of a classic style, but it is really cute. I can't believe how much I like them. They are as comfortable as everyone says. I have thin legs and they really conform and look nice. You can work these all types of ways. I m on a budget, but hey, sometimes you have to sacrifice!

This boot is precisely what I wanted, because it is a great hybrid of lace-up military-style boots and Frye buckle boots. It is great with casual clothing but works equally well with tights and a not-too-formal skirt. I love the non-skid soles, a definite plus for winter wear. Comfortable, nice arch support, a bit of a heel to provide some lift, this is a great-looking utilitarian boot.

Very cute boot; however, extremely narrow. I am always a 7.5, B width. Not this. Barely got my foot in. Too bad; a nice look.

I adore these. I hadn't gone one block outside my house before I got my first compliment on them. Timberland boots have to be the most durable, well-made boots on the market - every pair I buy lives up to their reputation. The style on these is really kicky, and you can wear them with the laces loose and the tongue lolling down for a bit of a punked out look. I can walk miles in these, and I don't say that about many shoes!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I\'ve got skinny calves, and ordered these to be able to customize the fit. They\'re perfect! Very high quality, the rubber sole is flexible and comfy, the leather is just flexible enough so it bends with your ankle, but won\'t slouch. Not lined, so I\'m wearing socks with them, but I don\'t think they\'d be too rough without. I do wish the tongue was attached higher up somehow, it might slide around... but after two days of 8 hour plus wear, they haven\'t yet, so maybe they\'re fine. I have pretty flat feet, so I\'m going to get arch supports to add some comfort, since these really don\'t have much,(hence the 4 stars) foot bed is cushioned though. I also love the way they look a bit edgy. Kind of punk rock with the buckle and the laces... FUN! They bring a cool feel to my regular skirts and dresses, and they\'re great with leggings too. BUY THEM!

Ordered these for my 16 year old daughter and she loves them. She wore them to her homecoming dance with a cute dress. She has thin legs and was able to lace the boots tight enough. The leather is good quality and they appear durable enough for a teenager! She received lots of compliments.

I love these boots! My feet are narrow and the ties provide me with a custom fit. There is a side zipper for easy on and off. They are very comfortable and look great with leggings tucked in and with boot cut jeans over them. I am able to put my orthotic into the boot, which is a plus.

These boots are amazing! They are super comfy and flexible - no breaking in time required. They are pretty warm, considering just leather with not much lining going on. I did put in a gel insert because I overpronate, but even without the insert, they have comfortable beds. The style is awesome!

I love these boots. I went on an epic search for the perfect pair of boots and was overjoyed to find these. They are extremely well made and will definitely last years of walking in Berlin. The only reason I gave 4 stars overall is because of the sizing. I am usually an 8 but sometimes and 8.5, and have slightly "wide-ish" feet but never even consider getting wide-sized shoes. After reading the reviews I decided to order an 8.5 in wide, which was a bit too roomy. So I returned them for an 8 wide (thanks Zappos for the wonderful service!) which, in the foot, is a perfect fit. I was a bit startled at the narrowness of the calf...I had to struggle to zip them up which was not at all the case with the 8.5. I wish I could post a "rule" to help any buyers on the fence figure out what size they need, but it's a bit tricky. I think the shoe length runs a bit large, but its width, and width of the calf, are on the narrow side. Having these boots was definitely worth the return/reorder process. These are really solid boots that will last forever. Go for it, you'll definitely find a size that works.

These boots look really great, but I have to agree with the reviews that say these run narrow. I did not think they would because I have another pair of Timberland boots, the Charles Street Lace, in the exact same size and width, and those shoes are by far the most comfortable boots I own. I am sad that these are more narrow because they are really cute, but they get uncomfortable rubbing against the bone in my feet.

I love them! They're pretty comfy. And once you get the laces set to your foot and leg size, putting the boots on and off becomes very simple.

I ordered these in black. It probably seems obvious but I was a little disappointed in how much these resemble combat boots in person. Brown would probably be better but they don't have my size so back they go. They are very comfortable and I loved the contrast in textures, it was just not the style for me.

These are great boots. I was looking for stylish and durable boots and these are pretty good. They are not going to stand up to jumping around in mud and gravel everyday, but they are the best mix of style, comfort and durability that I could find. If you plan on wearing them in the winter with thick socks think about ordering half a size larger.

Very cute boots but loose for me in the heel and overall not as comfy as mentioned by other reviewers.
