This boot is really cute and all you get is thumbs up but they fall down, but still very cute. I wear a size in almost anything but an 8 1/2 fits perfect. Water resistant, very nice. Gets a 10 for comfort.

These boots are fabulous. I wear these just about every day. They are really comfortable, well-made, and a nice mix of equestrian sophistication and utilitarian boot. I have gotten countless compliments!

I love these boots. Can be worn jeans in, jeans out, with a skirt, and all day! These are my new favorite pair of shoes. Will be hard to replace when it gets too warm to wear them!

Love these boots. I took a chance and wore them right out of the box to NYC for a school field trip. Walked all day and they felt great! Ordered them first in the brick color but it was too red, love the dark brown. They have great style and I've gotten many compliments. I wear an 11 and they fit great even with my jeans tucked in. They are not a dressy boot but would look okay with a long skirt.

These are really cute. I like the zipper (easy on/off) and the adjustable strap at the top makes it fit to your individual need. Comfy too but very sturdy. I was afraid they were too sturdy and they would be stiff but I put some of hubby's old shoe trees inside and they softened up a tad.

Perfect fit - very comfortable, but stylish enough to wear to work. Love this boot! Also, kudos to Zappos shipping. They got here the day after I ordered. Sweet!

I wanted an equestrian-style boot to wear with skirts and leggings, and I also wanted to be able to get through the snow in them. They are so comfortable on, and easy to walk in. They are very well-made and comfortable! Don't hesitate.

Beautiful boots and well made but unfortunately have to return them. They were too snug around calf area and I ordered the wide width.

The boot is beautiful, but was hoping for a boot that was all leather, rather than leather/suede, for the money. It was too loose in the ankle and looked a bit slouchy. It is a comfortable boot. However, I returned it to look for the perfect boot.

I had a friend bring me these boots when he came to visit me abroad, and I am so happy they fit. I used all the previous reviews to figure out which size would fit me best since I range from 7½ to 8. I got the size 8 which fit well - even with thick socks. I will say that they felt a little narrow towards the front when I first tried them on, and I was afraid that I would not be able to wear thick socks. However, I have been wearing thick wool socks without a problem. It is a little tight, but nothing painful. I have been traveling the last two weeks and wearing them everywhere. They are comfortable, and pretty weather durable. It has been raining quite a bit, and they have kept me dry (even though they are not technically waterproof). My one complaint is that they get easily scuffed. I have another pair of leather boots that maintain their shine, but these look a little dull after a few wears. It is not a big deal though, and I am still glad that I bought them.

Great looking boots. Have received several compliments. Quality is ok. They scuff easily. I typically wear a 9 or 9.5 and after reading others reviews went with the 9.5 and glad I did. I am very flat footed and need a lot of support. The support is ok. I can wear the boots all day but by the end of the day glad to take them off. Overall, glad I bought them and would recommend them to others.

Beautiful boots; however, they are not truly wide. I ordered these because they offer a wide but they are still tight. Also the button on the calf does not really increase the calf size. You can tighten it if you have a smaller then average calf but not loosen for larger. The break in time on these is relatively short. I have trouble finding a boot that fits so I would buy these again even though they are a bit tight. The leather is beautiful and I love the color.

Nicely made beautiful boot, but the wide size feels more like a normal width. Probably perfect for people with a narrow foot, but I will be returning mine. I bought the Clark's Orinocco Skip boots instead, love them.

These boots are definitely cute right out of the box. They have the rugged look that I desired, and the sole is perfect for winter wear. Unfortunately, the shaft was too wide for me and tightening the tab at the top made the shaft "balloon out" below the tab. There is very little arch support, but room for an insert. I will be returning them...still looking for that perfect riding boot!

I ordered the brown and unfortunately the color I saw online wasn't accurate. These boots look much more weathered in person and the shaft of the boot looked almost gray. My 12 year old daughter took one look at them and said they looked like a farmer's rainboots. So, while the style didn't work for me, let me say you should order 1/2 size up for sure. I didn't find them to be narrow. I am sorry to send them back but Zappos is great and I am sure I will find another boot to work for me!

These are beautiful boots but they run very small. I wear a 9M. I ordered a size 10 for my daughter. I tried them on and they were very snug on me. I would need a 10 in these boots. I had to return them.

I read a lot of reviews about this boot before I bought it. Purchased the size I thought I wanted and one half size over. The size I thought I needed was correct (size 8). I have a very narrow foot. The boot was wide at the heel, but narrow in the foot. I wore 2 pairs of thin socks with it, and it was perfect. The reason I am speaking in the past tense is that I just came back from taking these boots as my major day time shoes on a 3 week trip to Europe. I also took a pair of Merrell "hiking boots" with me, but ended up only wearing these boots, as they were just as comfortable and more stylish. I bought the cocoa pair, and they are cordovan in color, but looked great with my skinny black, blue, and grey jeans. They were a surprisingly neutral color and so much more chic than black. I bought a back pack from another website that coordinated with them, and I thought the whole look was just great. I also wore them at night with solid color jeans and a heavy lace blouse and a heavy embroidered blouse, and I thought they were just perfect -- sort of tough but also romantic. When I took them out of the box I was a bit worried. They did not seem as nice as I expected, but they really grew on me. Very important is the zipper. There is nothing like trying to get a tight boot off at midnight. I have slept in a few!

I LOVE the overall look and got lots of compliments, however, they run about 1/2 a size small. The heel is wide/loose, however from the arch to the toe it is much narrower, and runs a little short. I have narrow feet, so this is very unusual for me; most shoes/boots are borderline too wide. I would have ordered a 1/2 size larger had I known. I wore very thin socks and my right foot went to sleep a couple of times. I'm hoping wearing them a few more times will break them in and stretch them out.

These boots seemed well made and were comfortable, however I am returning them because they are bordering on the pirate boot in appearance rather than the riding boot that I wanted.

Love this boot online and love the looks of it when I received it. Returning it because apparently no one who reviewed this boot has a high instep to deal with. Even the wide does not work for clearing the instep. Just adding info.
