I ordered my regular size of 7...I couldn't even get the boot on with a super thin sock. I am sad that I have to return these because they are really pretty boots but I can't even get them on.

I normally wear a 7.5. I ordered a 7.5 wide based on all reviews and do not have wide feet. My calf is 15 1/2 inches. The calf on the 7.5 wide boots is 14", maybe 14.5. Sorry Zappos, they're coming right back. Color is true to photo. The boots fit wide, and probably would have been fine without at wide size, but the shaft is very small.

Super cute but these are so narrow that I couldn't even get my foot into them! Even after ordering 1/2 larger and wide.

I ordered my true size 8 1/2, but went with wide after reading reviews. Left foot doesn't feel bad, but right foot is tight. These are not big for being wide; more light medium. I am sending back as I have another new Timberland from last year I never ended up wearing as the heel bothered me. I'm beginning to think I can't wear Timberland. I got the boot on sale and am debating reordering to see if I got a bad pair.

I know I have "skinny" calves, but these boots were tight. I even ordered a half size up, and a wide. They look great, but they really run small in shoe size; and narrow in the calf area (and I was only wearing socks!) Not a good fix for anyone who thinks they're normal in the calf area where wearing a boot is concerned.

Ordered these in the medium brown, in my true size. The suede part of the boot is more yellowish and lighter than in the photos. The suede part does not have the appearance of being very high quality, and is rough rather than soft. When on, the suede slouches quite a bit. The sole are also extremely squeaky. The fit is overall probably a full size too small. I ordered a 6.5 but think I would have needed a 7.5. I returned them because the fit was way too small. I might have exchanged them for the next size up if the leather hadn't been below par. The squeakiness of the sole is also a problem. They seemed like they would be plausibly comfortable to wear though.

Still too wide for my small calves! I was excited about these boots thinking they might end a long quest for tight calf boots. Nope. Even with the toggle on the side on the smallest setting, they are gappy and junky looking. The boots are good quality, but my skinny legs look ridiculous in them.

I love these boots! But I cannot wear them and it pains me to have to return them because of the four styles I ordered, this one is the most beautiful and right for my needs. However, this boot marks the first time ever that I purchased a wide size that fit as tight, if not tighter than normal width. There is something seriously wrong with the wide size of this boot. The designers of this shoe should have a fit that it was not tested properly for the sizes offered. If you have narrow feet, you have a great option with this boot, it is well designed, well made and can be dressed up or down. A great option if, like me, you can only afford to buy one boot this season. In the end, I opted for suede boots from earth because they fit better and had better arch support.

Comfort is okay, but I have skinny calves and I could stick my entire arm into this boot with it zipped and locked on the tightest setting. Timberland logo is pretty prominent on the boot too. These go back.

I wanted these boots for a few years and saw they had a great sale going on, finally splurged. They arrived and I was so excited. When I opened the box I was immediately disappointed. The photo makes them seem as if the entire boot is a good stiff leather. In reality, the mid section is a thinner leather than the top & bottom, and ruffles/wrinkles. I know thats the "style" these days, but not my style. I like a nice solid, firm boot. They are also a lot wider than my calves. I am returning.

Beautiful boots but too small and to narrow! Usually wear 9.5 but ordered a 10 in regular width. Sadly do not fit and no larger size available.
