My mom ordered these for me as a gift. I received a pair of 10w, but they were too long so I exchanged them for 9w. The length was perfect, I had plenty of heel space and my toes fit right up to the end of the shoe. The sides of the boots squeeze of my feet though. I've double checked a few times to see if they were really labeled 'wides.' They are. These are the first pair of leather boots I've ever owned, so I don't know if this is normal. I hear that they stretch after broken in so that's what I'm banking on. Otherwise, they're awesome. I love that they are made from recycled and durable material. I imagine these boots will last me for a long time if my feet don't bust out of the sides.

These boots are even lovelier in person! I saw them and had to have them. Seeing the reviews on how narrow they seem to run, I ordered the wide width. The feet fit great and there is enough room for thick socks. I had hoped that the wide width would extend to the shaft, as well, since I have muscular calves (they are 15½" around, for reference). However, when these boots first came, they would not zip up past the top seam. I sprayed the boots with alcohol, to make them more likely to stretch, and was then able to zip them (I did this several times over the course of a week to get them comfortably stretched and molded to my legs). So, with a little stretching these boots now fit like a dream!

These are lovely, well-crafted boots, but I am returning the pair I bought because they are not wide enough. This is the first time I bought a wide width shoe and had it feel narrow. I was also surprised that the softer leather around the leg looks baggy when you are wearing the boot. Lastly, found the calf to be a little tight. If you have a remotely hearty calf, I would expect these to be tight or not fit. I could zip it fine, but it felt tight and that's with no tights or jeans underneath. I considered trying to break the boots in to see if they fit better after some wear, but at this much a pair, I can't take that chance.

This is good quality leather and style wise they are very appealing if you are looking for boots with a slight rugged edge. I have to agree that the brown color is very rich and beautiful. There are three negative comments however: I usually order a 6½ in riding boots so I can put my own insole for added shock absorption/comfort. This worked out well but I still found the rubber sole too stiff. Secondly, I have so far had luck with shaft sizing when ordering boots from Le Canadienne and Etienne Aigner, so I was a little disappointed that these boots were as loose as they were even with my jeans tucked in. And lastly, the most annoying thing is that the zipper frequently gets stuck, whether you are zipping up or down. Even with all these, I am still keeping them because at least on the exterior, they are well made and overall I like the look of them.

Great looking boot, but even the wide is a bit to snug in the ball of the foot for a winter boot. I need something I can wear a warm sock with. I have a short, wide foot and the boot just doesn't work for me. So back they go.

I saw these boots on a woman while waiting in line at Starbucks and instantly fell in love. Didn't ask her what kind they were but I looked them up on Zappos and found them! As soon as I got them I was very happy, for some reason they did run a little big, I'm an 8 1/2 and I do have to wear medium weight socks so they fit better. But I do love them!

Great boot, loved it online and when I saw it in person but I would like to meet the people whose calves actually fit in this boot. I couldn't zipper it once it hit my calf. I have muscular legs but I "thought" they were still rather skinny. So bummed that I have to return them. I guess my boot purchases will have to be done in person.

Ugg. I ordered an 11 wide and it runs narrow in the toe box and wide in the heel. My toes went numb in this boot and my heel slips. If you have a wide foot this boot is not for you. It looked like a medium to me. It is nicely padded on the inside. I ordered the black and I didn't realize that the shaft of the boot is thinner suede. It almost looks like dark denim. Just an FYI.

Great looking boots, but the shaft is too narrow for my calves! There is no way I could tuck even leggings into these boots...I could barely zip them over my calves. I am 5'4" and 125 lbs, 14 1/2 inch calves. I am normally a 7.5, but I ordered a 7.5 W because of the reviews. The boot felt very comfortable; it was not too short in the toe, and getting it in Wide gave me a little extra room - my feet are not wide, but they aren't narrow either. I only wish the shaft was larger!! These are perfect, but not for us girls with larger calves...

Just received my delivery and am wearing these boots as I type this message. They look good, except for the little "worn" look to them. I wear a size 7 1/2 and my feet are narrow. There was at first a little hesitation with my feet going in with thin socks, so if you plan on bundling up, order a size larger. All in all good purchase.

I bought these boots because I wanted something stylish to wear in the snow. (But also practical!) They look great on, but like other reviews, I didn't like the slouchy look of the suede - the boots don't stand straight up, which was disappointing. They are still practical and stylish. I've worn them many times with my skinny jeans!

Love the boots! They run a hair short of true to size, but overall a great quality boot. I would recommend.

Great styles and after the positive reviews I thought I would try it. I bought a Wide, and it was still to narrow. After a day in these I was aching for days in the feet, knees, and hips. Too late for a return now.

Did I fall asleep and they changed boot size on me? Or send out notices? Or is it just hi fashion boots? There is no way I can wear this boots...got them on but my feet are in sardine cans...these are NOT wide boots..but like i said I guess I now wear a 10 in fashion boots instead of the 9 I have worn for decades. Unfortunately I ordered 3 pair at 1 time..All size 9. I have tried Rockport Frye these and Freebird.

I wanted these to fit so badly because the style is great - nice enough for work or going out but with just a little roughness on the finish to make them cool. That said, the ankles were too slouchy so they're headed back to Zappos.

These size 8s were true to size, and comfortable right out of the box. The boots are gorgeous, although I had to order a second pair because the first arrived very scratched up. However, I am returning these because of the look. I have narrow calves (these are only for narrow calves by the way), but these sort of fit tight at the ankles and then ballooned out at the calves for a very peculiar look. I did not like it. I was very disappointed! This is the reason that I gave them three stars instead of five.

I've been eyeing these boots for months before finally purchasing them. One problem, in the photo the boot appears to have the same leather texture from top to bottom, but in person there is a tonal & texture difference. The foot and calf band are a gorgeous quality grain leather while the shaft between is a rough pigskin type leather that is clearly a shade or two lighter. The reviews do not point this out. Still unsure but I think I like them enough to keep. Although they feet true to size, no wiggle room for heavy socks. I think I may have to use plastic wrap for added warmth. I will not size up for fear an 11 med. may be to big which is just as bad as to small.

I like these boots very much. Really comfortable, sturdy, and true to size. They look 'blingier' in the picture and I thought they would be a bit more visually appealing but they are much more basic looking. Also, I have moderately larger calves and they are very snug but I figure they'll stretch.

I ordered almost this exact boot for my daughter last year and she loved them and wore them all winter. This year I thought I would get a pair for myself. They are cute, although the suede part slouches a bit more than I would have liked. But I was surprised that they weren't very comfortable! The leather on the top of the foot is really narrow and stiff and wasn't comfortable at all to walk in. The ones I ordered for my daughter had leather that was much softer. Also, the metal tab used to adjust the top of the boot is really uncomfortable and sticks into your other leg when you cross your legs, for me that is a deal breaker. I sent them back, for that price I expected more.

These boots are perfect in every way, except they are way too tight for my calf. I am 5'6" and a size 10 and have never had trouble fitting into a knee high boot before. I am sadly returning them and writing this review to warn others of the issue.

It is a very manly style. Not at all refined. It is good quality, for sure, but the style is just very Timberland, more like a pair of boots for some rough handling. Not what I was looking for, which is something for the outdoors and yet a little dressy. The calves are very big in circumference. I am not exactly slim, and have strong athletic legs. Still they are way too loose for me. I am returning them.
