Merrell Encore Ice are great shoes. The fleece lining is warm in winter and cool in summer. Very comfortable and durable.

I love these shoes. They fit perfectly, are comfortable right out of the box and are warm. I ordered my regular size. I am new to Zappos and Merrell shoes but I am definitely going to order more. I also had ordered another brand of shoe which I did not like. Returning them could not have been easier. Thanks Zappos.

I have a problem with my Achilles Tendon and was having trouble finding something warm to wear in the winter since I cannot have anything rubbing the back of my heels. Based on the reviews I decided to take a chance on these. They fit like a glove! I have been so pleased. I wear a 9½ and the fit is perfect. Thanks so much!

I wear them all the time. Perfect as slippers or to zip down-town. I can even walk several miles in them quite comfortably.

Very warm & comfortable. I don't even need to wear socks! After trying 3 different types of clogs, this was the keeper.

Great looking shoe but was not wide enought for my foot. My current leather Merrell clogs fit better. Perhaps due to the lining. These would probably be great for someone with a narrower foot.

As usual Merrell rocks! I wore these right out of the box. So comfortable and warm. I wear without socks here in Chicago. They also look good which doesn't hurt.

Wow, these are as good as everyone says they are! They were crazy comfortable right out of the box and I've been able to slip them on barefoot to take the dog out in the snow and stay toasty warm. The rhubarb color is gorgeous, sort of purple/pink. I don't notice the open back at all and slip them on in a millisecond. Highly recommend!

My doctor recommended Merrell shoes some years ago. It is almost the only shoe I ever wear! They are very comfortable.

This is my third pair of Encore Ice I bought. The first two pairs are still lasting and I just wanted another. I was able to take the shoe out of the box in the morning and at the end of the day I realized I was wearing a brand new pair of shoes and it didn't hurt even once! These shoes have good support, are very comfortable and keeps my feet warm. I usually wear a 6.5, but I buy these in a 7. I wear a medium thickness sock with it for extra warmth, or without socks. I lived in TX and in CA and my feet are always cold. I have 'flat feet" (no arches) and tend to over pronate. And my job required me to be on my feet all day (teaching). These shoes are not the most feminine, but they are definately most comfortable. Looks nice with any jean, cordoroy or velveteen pants. I am able to dress up or dress down with these shoes. The only trouble I have is to actually find my size, since they sell out so quickly.

These are the most comfortable shoes! The soft fur-like lining is great for comfort and warmth. Can be worn with or without socks. I love them!

Bought these shoes for ease in and out of around the house for going outside in our snowy and/or muddy yard. Very comfortable and warm, as we are having a cold, cold winter here in Colorado.

I love these shoes. Both of my legs were broken a few years back in an accident and I always walk with pain, these have made a big difference and they keep my feet nice and warm.

Merrell seems to have made their clogs wider with a more squared toe. They do not work well for narrow feet. I ordered half a size smaller, but they slip off my heel. That would no doubt become a bigger problem as the fleece wears down. Nice quality, but they do not fit as well as my old Merrells. Sorry. But thanks for your great service, Zappos.

AMAZING!! These are so so comfortable and they fit like a glove! They are very supportive and hug every part of your foot. The shearling is soft, springy, and warm. I got the Stone color, which is very pretty, but is lined with white fleece which I think will stain and show wear more than a darker lining would. This white is also very flattering so it wouldn't be a problem unless you see yourself mucking around in all weather conditions. They have a thick sole which feels durable but has none of that tiltly-wobbly "Dansko roll." The break-over of the sole when walking is amazingly comfortable, I can't say enough good things about this shoe! Merrell seems to be high-quality, and these look very cute on one's foot, not at all bulky!

This shoe is amazingly warm and comfortable! I ordered the rhubarb and it's incredibly cute, too! I like Merrell because they are true to size, and I always know that whatever I order will fit and fit comfortably. In addition, as a runner who's suffered numerous injuries, wearing comfortable shoes is a must. As a fan of cute shoes, appearance is important too. Merrell fits the bill on both counts.

This is a really comfortable and warm winter shoe. I wore it out of the box all day and my feet were very happy. It's good for walking on snowy surfaces. I wear a 9W and bought a 10M which was perfect, as Merrell's don't come in Wide and I assumed because of the sheepskin lining it would be snug. I made the right guess about the size adjustment. You don't need a shoe horn to slip into it and the design of the top part over the foot is not as close to the ankle as some Merrell designs, so there's room for comfortable ankle bend without restriction. I can't think of one negative, but I've only worn them a day. I'm thinking I should buy another pair now and hoard it in the closet so I've got a spare pair when these wear out.

I love slipping my feet into these shoes. They are so comfortable. I have serious back problems and need shoes that I can slip my feet right into and not have to bend down to tie. I have worn the same pair of shoes (Vans slip ons) for 7 years now and was getting worried because I wasn't able to find anything similar. A friend recommended Merrell and I found the Encore Ice. They are perfect - comfortable, warm, don't flip up and down, and can be worn with almost anything. Also, you can't beat ordering shoes online with Zappos with free shipping, free returns, and fast delivery. I used to get annoyed when a shoe would not fit or just wasn't what I expected and I had to return it and lose money on the deal. Zappos is the only place I buy shoes online now. Their service can't be beat.

I bought these shoes because I needed a cozy slipper that has structure and too, because I often go outside on short notice (puppy) and these meet all my needs. They are cozy and supportive. I could wear them out with Jeans if I wanted, but I feel they look a little too boxy for my style. I feel they are a good value and a worthwhile purchase.

These shoes are super comfortable. I teach and am able to wear them all day without having any discomfort.
