I'll be the first to admit I was a die hard Merrell fan. But, this is the last pair I'll buy (wait, I said that about the last pair I bought... anyway...) if you've been feeling like Merrell has gotten skimpy and narrow over the years, then join the rest of us and give up on this brand.

These are fab shoes, color is unusual enough to get compliments & yet go great with jeans, taupe or white capris or whatever suits you. The support was a major factor for me as I waitressed for years and my feet know it, I have to comfortable shoes & I want them to be stylish. These are both, size was true, if that helps.

I needed a pair of low-cut, waterproof shoes for dog showing. These fit the bill perfectly. Not the prettiest, a bit heavy, but they keep my feet warm and dry no matter how wet the grass is. And I can RUN with them (a necessity at dog shows).

Awesome shoes, my third pair. I walk outside all day 5 days a week for work and these shoes are fantastic for me out of the box and go. No breaking in and no sore spots!

Bought these to replace an old worn-out pair of Gore-Tex hikers, and was pleasantly surprised at how much lighter and less clunky these are. However much these look like sneakers, however, they're still hikers, so there's still a lot of stiffness - good for lateral support, but they do require a bit of breaking in. Excellent water resistance.

Eureka! After trying 2 different pairs of hiking shoes from Zappos (thank you for free shipping!) and a pair from another company, none of which fit properly, I took a chance on these Merrells. They fit perfectly right out of the box. There is plenty of room for my toes, a snug but not tight fit on the heel, and support for my old, tired feet. And they're cute as well, and didn't break the bank. Love them!

After a long search for a brown, waterproof trail shoe, I found the Siren Sport. Not only is the shoe sporty, it's great to wear. It might be a little too narrow in the toe box for other people, but it works great for me.

I originally ordered the 9 (I generally wear 8.5), and the fit was just too tight and narrow -- and I have short toes! I ordered the 9.5, and it fits just fine! Shoe is gorgeous, but is definitely stiff, especially around the opening. However, as it is obviously a hybrid boot, that makes sense. It's a very sturdy shoe. Breaking it in has been easy, and as someone who blisters very easily, I've had no problems!

I was looking for a shoe to replace my 10-year-old Timberland slip-on walking/hiking shoes. I wanted something comfortable to wear with jeans and shorts but not a sneaker. These fit the bill as well as my feet. Zappos made it easier to try them out!

Merrells tend to be on the wide side. As this is not my first pair of this brand they are very comfortable (I have a high arch and a wide foot) and I refuse to buy footwear that I have to wear and stretch out? No way! I am on my feet a lot and never get tired of wearing these!

I love these shoes. They are my second pair, I wore the first pair to death. They go through water like ducks, leaving your foot completely dry. They're stiff, like a hiking boot, so they're great on trails. But I do street walking in them too. The fit might be a little small...try 1/2 size up. (But that may depend on if you're foot is pushing the limits of a size, like mine seem to be doing these days.)

I LOVE THESE SHOES! I bought a pair and quickly tested them in a stream of water. Feet stay dry and warm, but not hot in the summer. I've never found a shoe I could wear all day and not be hurting. These are great for hiking, shopping and just wearing. Throw them in the washing machine on cold gentle and they come out like new. Did I mention they NEVER smell? After two years mine look barely worn after wearing them everyday. I love them so much I bought another pair in another color! You will not be sorry about the price. Light as air shoes worth ten times their weight in gold! Thanks Merrell!

These are great shoes and worth the price. They are rugged and very waterproof, yet still lightweight. One caution if you have wide feet: Order a half size up. I ordered a wide width in my normal size (7W), but the overall fit was still tight. I wound up keeping 7 1/2 W, which is fine with good socks.

I love these shoes -- they are very comfortable out of the box, and for a sport shoe, they look very good. I needed something to wear on a trip that includes hiking and where I can take only one pair of shoes. These are the ones going with me.

I love Zappos. I order in the evening and the next day when I come home the order is on my porch! The prices are great and the returns are no hassle. What more could one want? Yay, Zappos! These shoes were perfect!

I ordered these because of a review I read about someone wearing these to walk their dog in tall wet grass.They were right, my feet haven't been wet once since I walk in tall wet grass everyday! And comfy enough to extend our walk. Great product!

I'm crazy about my Merrell Siren shoes. They fit so well and are very comfortable from the first time I wore them. My feet stay dry in them. I'm out in pastures and fields all morning - with the heavy dew and moisture all over the grass I've been surprised how well the Gore-Tex works. I will say that I had to send the first pair I bought back because the manufacturer had flubbed up on the waterproof finish - feet were soaked every time I tried them out. I sent them back to Zappos and they were terrific - sent me a new pair immediately! I highly recommend these shoes.

I have small and wide feet and these shoes are a wonder! They arrived in a timely manner and while I needed to break them in for a bit, they fit me right out of the box. I wore them in the rain and dampness of the Pacific Northwest and they kept me cozy, comfy and dry.

Love these shoes...so cute, make my size 11W feet look tiny, fit perfect on my size 11W left foot. My size 11W right foot; however, has a bunion, which the shoe would not accommodate. So sad to send it back, but had to do it. Awesome Zappos service as always!

I find it hard to purchase shoes and have really liked these shoes. I have short, wide feet with a high arch. These shoes are very comfortable and appear to be waterproof. I like the way they look as well.

I've purchased Merrell shoes and have found, in all cases, that right out of the box they're ready for long walks - no real break-in period necessary. I took these to London with me right after they came in the mail and walked miles every day with no soreness, blisters or problems of any kind. They are a little on the pricey side, but worth every penny. I have another pair of these, about 10 years old, and they still are in great shape (well, maybe not the laces!) and will probably go another 10. It's nice to know you can still get quality shoes, and Zappos service is, as always, excellent.

Slighty less flexible and comfortable than the regular Siren Sport, but the Gore-Tex version provides superb waterproof protection.

I love these shoes and wear them almost every day to wet soccer fields, through slushy school pickups / drop-offs in winter, across muddy softball diamonds, etc. They are lightweight, keep my feet dry and are very comfortable. This is my second pair of Merrell GORE-TEX. I tried a pair of Patagonia GORE-TEX in between, but they were just too heavy and clunky to wear. I'll always have a pair of these in the closet. Great, great shoes.

This is a great shoe. It keeps your feet dry and it's very comfortable. the support is great. This is my second pair so you know I really like them. Do remember to order 1/2 size up because Gore-Tex is a bit stiff.
