I'm very happy with these shoes. I'm recovering from surgeries that leave me hurting if anything is pressing against the back of my foot, so a low back shoe is very important. I returned the first pair because I couldn't get my foot in them, but one size larger is perfect. [Thanks Zappos for easy returns. You probably got a repeat customer just for that.] They look nice enough that nobody at the office is asking why I'm not in the expected dress shoe, and comfortable enough I can spend the whole day without aches. If I'm still happy in a couple of weeks, I'll be buying a second pair.

Clogs are much harder to find than the last time I bought them, so I got a pair of men's clogs, to accommodate the width of my feet. These are beautiful in Bug Brown Leather, but are too small in the throat of the shoe for a wide, high arch. I could force them on, but there is no guarantee that they would ever be comfortable. Back they go, since there is no other width option. I will try a less beautiful model.

True to the description. Size is accurate and very comfortable. The brown is very dark, almost black. Hoping it gains character with age.

This shoe is very well made and looks great. I removed the insert and added an orthotic insert for additional support. My heels slip out of this shoe quite a bit but I guess that is part of the style. They feel like slippers but with more support/traction on the bottom. If you don't like the feeling of your heels slipping out when you walk, these may not be the best shoes for you. I've gotten used to it and walk about a half mile at lunch time. As long as my pace is slow/moderate, I'm able to manage without feeling like they are going to come off. They are not rigid, they feel soft and feel like I've been wearing them a long time. They look great with khaki's/business casual attire. I wear them to work a few days a week. They feel like they will hold up for a long time. Overall a great quality shoe, as long as you don't mind that feeling of your heels slipping out slightly because the back of the shoe is very low (maybe a half inch or so). It's possible that my orthotic inserts may make them feel even lower.

Very comfortable. It has taken me a while to get used to the low heel. These are better for standing around than serious walking because of the rise and fall of the shoe as my foot lifts and falls during a step.

They got here quick and in good shape. These shoes are very comfortable and easy to get on and off. The sizing was perfect and the quality appears to be good.

Well made shoe but a little too tall for my thin foot. Debated between a 12 and 13 and went with the 13. Little long in the back heal an a little tall for the top of my foot. Even with orthotics and a thick pair of socks. 12.5 would have been perfect. So, long thin feeted people like me should expect some a little sliding of your foot in the shoe. If you have a wider taller foot, these should be perfect. Still great slip on winter shoe, especially if you're used to taking your shoes off once in your house.

I purchased these as an alternative to their cousin, the Merrell Primo Breeze which I've been wearing for a long time and like very much. These shoes are as advertised, though the leather seems a little synthetic, but they fit well and fit the bill for a biz casual shoe. Easy on and off, so great for air travel. They're brand new and will require a little breaking in I think to make the leather relax a bit, but a very good fit and a good value.

When you first take these shoes out of the box, they are incredible. They are springy, and seem to fight fatigue. However, like many Merrell products, time is the enemy. I have owned these for six months, and I am ready to replace the insoles. They are now totally flat, and the arch support is gone. The outside of the shoes are still perfect and looks brand new. So, I think a replacement for the insoles will keep these shoes useful for quite some time.

Have used Zappos before without problem. This time they sent me a different size than I had ordered. Return shipping was easy, and I had the correct size within a week. Will use Zappos again.

I sure wish they still made the fur lines Merrell Men's Encore Chill Slide. They appear to only make it in women's these days. The Gust is similar but it does not have the nice fur lining.

These are good shoes. They are not as good as the Encores that I bought several years ago. They do not have as good a fit. But they are still excellent. The last pair fit as snugly as a full-heeled shoe. These are a little wobblier.

This shoe is breaking in quickly. At first I thought it was going to be two narrow in the heel and just forward..It is relaxing nicely. My new favorite.

Super comfortable, soft toe though in a kitchen watch out for that falling #10 can and they wore out in 6 months, would not buy again for work.
