So I got the black shoes in a 7.5 W and while they aren't perfect, they are pretty close. I have bunion problems on my right foot, so I wanted to get shoes that were roomy enough so that I can go about the day without feeling uncomfortable. I'm still in the process of breaking the shoes in, but they are decent enough that I can wear them for most of the day without any pain. I also love the style. One of my problems is that my feet get a bit sweaty, but it's not too annoying. These shoes fit fine, but I was hoping for some more room. I had to double-check to make sure that they weren't the normal sized ones. Also, I appreciate the arch support and the support at the bottom. I think these shoes are worth it.

They are really comfortable and cute. They are a little bit narrow and run a little bit small so if you are btwn sizes opt for the larger size. They do make a noise when I walk similar to a high heel.

Such a pretty, versatile shoe. Good arch support for a flat and goes well with dressy and casual. Walked around NYC for days in them and they felt very comfortable. Only complaint is that their size ten felt a bit big, but I added an insole and took care of that problem.

I agree with other reviewers in that you should order a half a size up. I usually wear a AA, and these shoes are narrow but not as narrow as other brands such as Stuart Weitzman. Cute shoes at a great price.

I normally wear a size 10 Med; have a very high arch; and have been dealing with stress fractures for 3-4 years that are finally healed. After living in Dansko's motion control clogs & sandals, it's so nice to be in a lighter shoe and one that flexes and has a soft base. The size 10 was long, but the size 9.5 too short. The arch support could be a lot better. I had to put in an insert to take care of the arch support, so I went with the size 10. I also had to put in a heel pad at the back, because the size 10 was slipping off my heel with each step. Not perfect, but far more comfortable than most shoes of this style. I've been spoiled by the Dansko's. Having my shoes not cradling and protecting my feet is a little weird.

I like the plain, classic style of this shoe. I ordered wine and gray and liked both colors. They're also well-made. The stiching is neat and suede looks nice. However, I found that the rubber soles are slippery on wood floors, which defeats the purpose of having rubber soles. I have narrow feet but still found the shoes slightly too narrow. I don't think they'll feel comfortable if worn for a long walk. Too bad, I had to sent them back.

Very nice looking shoe, but narrow in the toe area. I stretched them out with wooden shoe trees, and now they are quite comfortable. Length is true to size. They complement dresses, skirts and jeans, at a good price point.

These are a great versatile pair of flats that can be dressed up or down.

I have been looking for a good, everyday, black flat that offers arch support for a while now. I was so happy to see this shoe on Zappos, and notice the obvious arch. This is a great shoe in that it is stylish and offers adequate arch support; however, I still would have liked even more arch support. However, it is still the most supportive and stylish flat I have been able to find for my size 10.5 wide feet (I ordered the 11, which works). Since the material is fabric, the flat can't be worn in the rain/snow. Overall, again, good shoe, just wish it was even more supportive!

I loved the style of this shoe, but I have dancer's feet and it hurt in the bunion area. Zappos has been so patient with me and dealing with them is a pleasure.

These shoes are a dressed up version of a simple flat, including a little heel to boost you up a pinch. Love the shoe - It runs a bit small and snug for my normal street size of 6-6 1/2, a little loose on the size 7 - but I think I'll keep the 7 and put in some inserts to hold my foot in.

The shoe is very nice looking the only fault is that the heel is a little wider than I think it should be since it is AA. I usually wear an 8 1/2 AA but in this case I had to exchange it for the 9 N. I will say it was a pleasure dealing with Zappos. I would definitely buy from them again.

I have three pairs of Serene--the third pair is too small. It is so disappointing, the first two were great.

Van Eli's always run short and narrow. I usually take a 7M, and I first purchased my regular size. Too small. I re-ordered a 7.5M since it was on sale. Still too narrow. Nicely made shoe...but not for me. For a Chanel-look ballet flat...they skimped a little on the cut of the shoe. It is too low on the sides making your foot look wider. I have better looking Chanel knock-offs.

Looks fashionable online, but looks very old fashioned on your foot.

Beautiful shoes! I measure 7.5C, but usually wear eight for width. The 8W in this pair felt super tight, so I went up to 8.5W. Bingo! I may order the beige/black combo as well. Thank you Vaneli and Zappos!

I had a pair of these shoes previously that I have worn to death. Very nice looking and dressy even in a flat. Nice quality and fit

This is the third pair of Vaneli Serene that I have purchased. They are true to size and width. Very comfortable and stylish.

Absolutely beautiful and elegant shoe. Love the style I have many "Vaneli" shoes and they are all great. This is flat shoe but wearable with anything since well made and as I said elegant make no difference they have no high heels. Highly recommended, thou will need little (perhaps day or two ) to stretch for total comfort. Pretty shoes purchase it and you will be happy you did.

I ordered these shoes in 10.5 and 11. The 10.5 was smaller than usual and so I kept the 11. Usually a 10.5 fits me. The style is very pretty, the color is a good shade of deep blue and the shoes are comfortable.
