These are great leather boots. I am 5' and they go just below my knees. My calfs are 13" around and they just zip up under skinny jeans. They have a great rubber sole and I can wear them all day and they are very comfortable.

Love these! Warm, comfy, cute. These feel like my sheepskin slippers but ready for outside action. I am usually a size 8.5 who isn't exactly wide, but narrow shoes never work for me either. The 8 felt borderline. It might have stretched, but when I tried it on, it was making my feet tingle due to cut-off circulation. So I ordered a size 8.5, and it seems a little long in the toe area, but width, arch, and blood-flow wise, so far so good.

Many people are complaining about the width of the shaft. I'm no skinny minnie (5'4 and a size 8), but I made these work for me. Initially they were really snug on the calves, but it's not hard to stretch leather a little bit either by wearing them or multiple other methods you can find just by googling for a solution. However, I am docking one comfort star simply because of this issue. I love these boots, very glad I bought them. Great investment and I know they will last for years to come. Initially I purchased my regular shoe size based on the advice of one of my Ugg loving friends. It was far too big (though the shaft circumference fit) and I went back to my regular Ugg size. Works well without socks, shoe width might be too small to wear with thick socks (but who wears socks with Uggs anyway!). Go ahead and purchase them, with Zappos' return policy, you really have nothing to lose.

Kept my feet warm and toasty throughout winter! Never would've survived New York and all the blizzards without it this year. I trudged through mountains of snow and rain and my feet were dry the entire time.

I almost didn't get these. Zappos had run out, and I almost gave up; and then I finally got them! This is one of the best boots I've ever had! I am not usually a fan of Uggs. I have some older ones that are fuzzy and warm, but really have no support; they're like slippers and just don't cut it for more than a walk around the block. So I am overjoyed to have these awesome boots, which fit my narrow feet, are super soft and cushy, always warm (but not too hot!) and just luxuriously delicious inside. They have stood up to the most awful winter I've ever experienced in the northeast. True, I fell a few times, but not the boots' fault. They are excellently waterproof. Not only that, but I can walk in them anywhere. Today, I went on a long hike in the woods in them, and was equally comfortable as in my hiking shoes! Compared to my La Canadiennes, which I also praise highly, love, and wore endlessly last winter, I have to say these are equally, if not more comfortable and even warmer. I know some said they didn't like it with the cream colored fuzz that sticks out of the top a little, but I think they're pretty. My only misgiving is that I try not to buy too many things that hurt animals, so I can't justify getting a second pair of these. I just really appreciate my first. If they found a way to use the shearling but not hurt the sheep, now that would be cool. Thanks Zappos!

These boots are wonderful and worth every penny. I bought a pair for me and for my daughter. They look great with slacks, are perfect with pants, are warm and stylish and everything anyone would want in a boot. Comfortable too and fit true to size. Highly recommended.

I bought these boots to brave the unusually cold winter in DC this year, and I am so glad I did! Based on the customer feedback, I went up half a size. This was a good move because the lining is thick and soft, and there still was sufficient space to wear a lightweight sock or hose. These boots are awesome and definitely worth the splurge. I have large calves and had no trouble wearing them over skinny jeans after I wore them for a few days with skirts. They are very comfortable but need a few days to conform to your legs and feet. I prefer tall boots because they look very pulled together with a variety of outfits. The heel is wide and substantial, so they are not for dainty types, but after the snow falls, you will be grateful for the tread. Be sure to protect them before you step out, and do not wear them in slush or deep puddles. They are great in snow but not designed for extreme wetness. These boots do not disappoint. I bought them in espresso and love the richness of the color and the quality of the suede itself. I expect to have these for years. They are an investment piece and worth every penny.

I purchased the Broome II in chocolate in size 8. I normally wear a 7.5. They are outstanding! The one size up is a true must if you plan on wearing socks or your jeans tucked in. If you go without socks, your boots may feel a bit loose at the foot bed and ankle area, but not bad. The calf does fit snug. Leather tends to stretch, so not too worried about it. Overall, the super snuggy fleece lining lives up to the Ugg namesake. It isn't as billowy as the original Ugg boots, but just as soft and dense. Moreover, the outside leather is as soft as a horse's nose! If you are going to invest in an Ugg boot, I would put up the extra bucks for these rather than a mid calf version. I love these boots they are very comfortable. I have the chocolate leather pair and would like to purchase a black pair but I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Fit is perfect! And it's very cozy. The shoe is all they said it would be.

I ordered these based on the calf measurement of 16 1/2" and then started reading reviews of those who said it was smaller. My calves are 16 1/2", so I was worried they wouldn't fit me. I wear a size 11, and I have very long legs. Got them today and they zip perfectly. There's not a lot of extra room, but they do fit the widest part of my calf with no problem. I got the chestnut color and like the weathered toe and heel. I also love the leather and am glad it's not suede. It is uncharacteristically cold here in Texas right now and my UGGS are the best for keeping my feet warm. These will keep my legs warm, too.

I wanted the fleece lined warmth and comfort of a classic Ugg boot, but with a slightly less casual appearance. The Ugg Broome II was the answer. This boot has an inside zipper for a sleek profile, but is still cozy and warm. I'm short, so I like the fact that it has a very slight heel. I tried several Ugg styles in my search - but chose the Broome II because the toe box has a more streamlined shape compared to the wider, boxy toes of the Maddison, Kenly, and Cresthaven.

My Ugg Broome is black leather size 7. I originally ordered a size 6 as they didn't come in half sizes and those won't absolutely not zip up, no matter how hard I tried. I don't have super scrawny calves but I don't have gigantic calves either. I exchanged if for a size 7 and voila! Wow! These boots are warm! No need for socks but I do wear anyway and they are the thin trouser socks. With a little more practice, the calf area should zip up with ease. How do they look? Beautiful. I ordered another pair of black leather boots but will be returning those. I'm keeping these. I don't think I can tuck skinny jeans in but that's OK. I don't wear skinny jeans. I highly recommend sizing up if you want the boots to zip up. The size fit me find. I think it's because of the sheepskin in there. Get these!

I received the boots today and they fit beautifully right out of the box. They are comfortable and stylish. I look forward to wearing them tomorrow in the snow.

I love these boots! I ordered the boots in black suede. They're a lot dressier than the classic Uggs which I'm not a fan of. These look polished and can be dressed up or down. They are extremely warm and comfortable. Zappos had them to me in 2 days. Excellent service.

I bought these 4 days before I had to leave for Germany (in the winter). I ordered them 6pm Monday and the arrived at lunch on Tuesday. Less than 24 hours later! They were the most comfortable pair of footwear that i packed for the entire trip. I wore them every day. They were dressy and casual. I might have ordered a half size larger had I tried them on first. Only because I would have liked a little more room for my jeans. However, they were fine. I even have muscular calves and they fit fine. The zipper was an unexpected pleasure. So easy to get in and out of while shopping or visiting the spa.

I love these boots. So comfortable and warm. And it looks great with everything I have worn with it so far. I did get a half size smaller than normal because I found my other Uggs to be a bit loose and these fit perfectly.

After buying and returning several other styles of Uggs, this was the one my daughter loves. They are very comfortable, lots of room in the leg and the zipper doesn't hurt. Plus they are great looking.

Love these boots. Very comfy and warm. A little tight on the leg, but they strech after a few wears. Sadly I am only able to wear my jeans outside of these boots. I did not size down in these Uggs as with the regular Uggs. I purcased my regular size. My foot fits excellent but like I said the leg is tight, but I do love the zipper on these.

All I can say is fabulous! They fit well, true to size. Excellent material, and delivery was swift.

I am in love with these boots! At first, the calf seemed a bit snug, but the sheepskin matted down a bit so now the fit is perfect. They have decent arch support too, and fit my high arches with out any discomfort, even after several hours of wear. I love the white sheepskin footbed -- no dye transfer. They look a little bulky under boot cut jeans, but not nearly as bulky as the Jillian looked. This boot is best for people who do not tuck in their pants. The only gripe I have is the seam from the sheepskin underneath shows through on the arch after a couple of suede cleanings, but not severely. And I am so happy to finally have sheepskin lined boots that don't look too "Ugg-y".

Last year I purchased a similar un-Ugglike Ugg winter boot, the Smithfield, which is now discontinued. This boot fixes the problems with that boot; the shearling lining is complete, unlike the old boot which didn't line on the top of the foot. They also got rid of the clanking zipper, and the sole is thicker and has amazing grip on ice and snow in Chicago. The chocolate leather is a bit richer in color than the pictures, and the shearling lining is brown and barely shows outside the boot. It also only says "UGG" on the grommet on the back of the boot, which I really appreciate. This boot runs true to size for regular boots, but runs small in the calf. I have quite scrawny calves, and these are really tight on me; however, as with my Smithfields, the calf really stretches out, so if it is a tight fit but you can get it zipped up at all, rest assured it will soon feel comfortable. I'm 5'8 and a size 7, and the shaft ends about 3 inches below the bottom of my knee. This is the perfect winter boot, as far as I am concerned.

Great boots. Stylish, warm and true to size. If you want to be warm and look in fashion, I recommend these 100 percent!
