I have ordered 4 pairs of UGGs in the last 2 weeks trying to find the "perfect" pair! I need to replace my original UGGs which are over 5 years old and have become an eyesore. Based on the positive reviews I expected to fall in love with these. However they are little too chunky and the zipper is a pain in the butt! I'm not sure if the pair I received were defective, but the crappy zipper was a deal breaker for me. The search continues!

I reviewed for a month before actually giving into these. I never spend this much on shoes. It was between these and Jillians, which I also love. I have been looking for a nicer sleek winter boots for years. I just could not do the sloppier look of traditional Uggs, but I have had Ugg/Ugg-like hand me downs from my daughter, I wanted practical, warmth and class. These had structure, support and a nice cozy feel to keep my toes warm, no more cold/numb toes! The calf is perfect for me, average calves. They are a little tight with boot cuts tucked in, but I think they still work. They feel very solid. I ordered my regular shoe size. They sort of have a dad's galoshes, manly boot look from the top, looking down, but my daughter tried them and they look much cuter from the side. Note the white fleece does stick out at the top a bit, so it is not an elegant look. They are a flat matte looking leather. I plan to wear them to the office, out on walks in the slush, etc. These are exactly what I have wanted, classy, sleek, but warm, without looking too much like winter boots. I do think a little buckle or something might help take away from the plain-dad's boot feel, but they are still keepers.

I am in love with these boots. It's a very well made boot. I am an 8.5 which was too big. I went with an 8. They keep my legs super warm, something my other boots didn't provide. Don't hesitate, order them now!

I lifted the liner and inserted a support then replaced the liner, and these boots are so comfortable. I love that there is a good amount of tread to help walk through snow and icy parking lots. These are great! I can wear them all day and have been very happy with them. Thank you Zappos for your great service.

Love. True to size. Super warm and comfortable. After my disappointment with Hunter Etsy, I decided to buy my first Uggs. These are better looking than the slip on Uggs and the zipper makes it easier to slip and out of them. The leg shaft is snug and perfect fits the curve of my calves. I'm 5'6 and 125 lbs and have found most boots to be too wide but these fit like gloves. The foot area feels comfortable snug, not loose or tight and also fits the curve of my feet. The added bonus is the elevated and firm heel area which gives me an added boost to my step and so soothing to my heels. The only thing I'm not thrilled with is the color, the Fawn looks a bit off in the shade but otherwise love these boots and don't want to take them off. I am finally an Uggs Fan!

My wife got these boots for herself and she hasn't taken them off in weeks. Super comfortable and so stylish that nobody believes they are Uggs. The neighbor ran home and ordered herself a pair after seeing them.

I love these boots. I have many pairs of Uggs, leather one's also, and these keep me warm. I work in a very cold climate, and I could not be happier with these boots!

I love these boots. I think I like these even better than the last more traditional pair I had, which is really saying something. These gave me more support than the traditional Ugg boots. My foot is narrow so they are true to size for a true M width, but not too bad for a narrow food, fits better with socks for me, Keep my feet so warm and cozy.

Loved the height of the boot, very warm & have had so many compliments on the look of the boot.

I love these boots! The quality is amazing. Beautiful leather, real sheepskin. Very warm. My only comment (as in some previous reviews) the calf is quite narrow. Great for me since I have skinny legs but they will be too narrow for some.

I own several pair of UGGs from short to tall, to house shoes, to ones without Sheepskin insoles etc.... I bought these in the black leather. They are stiff. They do not have as much Sheepskin lining as traditional UGGs, and they are not completely lined with Sheepskin either, the toe covering does not have sheepskin lining. The footbed is not as thick as the traditional ones. They are more versatile than traditional UGGs. I like the look. If your looking for a more traditional boot look these are the UGGs for you. They are not as comfortable as traditional UGGs. These are not made for someone with large calves. I have rather small calves and barely got these on over my skinny jeans, and I bought a half size larger than I would have in these because my size was not available at the time. I wear size 6 in traditional UGGs and 6 1/2 in every other shoe. I bought these in a size 7. They are a little roomy, but I was afraid to buy the 6 since these come in half sizes. I bought these thinking they would be warmer than the other UGGs since I relocated from FL to VA. I hope I'm right. The verdict is still out on these.

I bought these boots a couple of years ago when I moved to Montana. I wanted a warm casual but stylish boot. These are the best! All day comfort, warm but enough of a heel that I can wear them out for a nice dinner, play etc, and still look stylish! Awesome!

I love the clean simple lines of these boots; very sturdy and warm. Color is great. My only complain is the metal logo tag on the outer heel -- it is Ugg-ly!

Oh my God! I love these boots! I've been searching forever for the perfect pair of adorable, winter capable, boots and these are like wearing slippers made out of clouds, that are stylish and durable. I've tried Frye, La Canadienne, and finally have a pair worthy of the investment. I don't know if I'll ever take them off. It's rare that I find a pair of boots that I don't have to break in. I am now a true believer in the magic of Ugg.

Wow! I've been looking at Uggs for 3 years and finally got these since they don't carry the Jillian in Taupe anymore. Was a little hesitant because the Fawn looked a little lighter than I really wanted but they are not as light as they appear in the photo. They're actually a very light brownish or tannish and they're absolutely beautiful. I was although a bit surprised at how snug they are at the top of the calf being that I don't have what could be considered to be large calves. So glad I finally got them! Usually wear a 6.5 or 7. Got a 7 and they fit perfectly. Can't wait to try them out in snow.

Fits very true to size. So warm...so comfy. I'd buy them over and over again!

Love these boots. Warm and comfortable. I have bad feet with bunions that can be painful, but I am able to walk in these boots with comfort.

These boots are very, very comfortable and warm! They are also stylish, which when combined with comfy and warm, are the perfect everyday winter boot. The zipper zips easily and the heel gives you a little bit of height, but not so much you'll worry about losing your footing in snow. The only thing to keep in mind is that if you wear bootlegged jeans, you may have a hard time zipping your jeans into these boots. Straight leg or slim pants are best. However, that's with all zippered boots, so it's really not a negative about this boot, in particular. I highly recommend Ugg Broome II.

My only regret is not buying these sooner! They are warm, comfortable and fit well over skinny jeans. I have average calves and had no issues with this at all. They also work well with tights and a tunic or skirt.

I've been looking for a sleek pair of square toe, lug sole, black boots all season. Yes, waiting till November is probably silly when looking for fall boots. Anyway, these didn't completely meet my hopes because they're a more rugged looking than I wanted, and I dislike the look of the typical Ugg. They're a little hard to get on (I have skinny calves) but once on, they felt very roomy in the foot. I slipped my orthotic under the footbed and zipped them up. Surprise, and uh oh. Put them on, didn't want to take them off. It happened to be the first really cold/rainy day of the year. I hadn't waterproofed them yet (couldn't tell if they already were), but I wore them all day anyway. Dreamy. Love the sheepskin lining (didn't expect to), love the heel, love the lug, love the square toe. Not what I was hoping for, so I'll still look for the sleek ones. Still: total keepers.

I absolutely loved the boots but the calf width was too small and I could not zip up the boots all the way. Would like them to make a wider calf boot. It is hard to buy the higher boots with thicker calves.

I love these new boots! I took them on a trip, with no back up shoes. A little worried, but I have to say, they were perfect! So comfortable right from the beginning, and they kept my feet warm. Would definitely recommend them. Another great thing about these boots, they come in 1/2 sizes! I was so happy that I didn't have to order the next whole size up.
