Okay, this boot is addicting to wear. Sooooo warm and comfortable. I didn't want to take them off! But it's not going to win any fashion awards - my foot looks huge and the leather around the ankle is a bit puckered. I do like the suede leather feel, and the color is lovely (I got chocolate brown). If you're looking for a general-style, super warm winter boot, look no further! These will definitely come in handy when the winter snows start here.

Overall, these are very good shoes, and exactly what I was looking for. They aren't totally shapeless like the regular Uggs, yet they're more practical and WAY more warm than normal leather boots. The heel is probably about an inch and a half; kind of substantial for what I thought was a flat boot, but it's good if there's precipitation. Sturdy upper, super comfortable, and they look really nice on. No one believed me when I told them they were Uggs! I usually wear about a 9½ (can fit into a 9), but got the 9½ to be safe.. in all honesty they were actually a TINY bit snug. I know Uggs though, and they're definitely wearing in, so they're forming more to my feet and they fit better now. Might want to order a half size up, however.

Really liked this boot because it was comfy for walking, very warm with the thick sheepskin fleece inside all the way up and down, and it had good traction. The main drawbacks were how stiff it was at the ankle, making it uncomfortable for sitting (at least until broken in?) and that the combo of styling and flat, rough leather made it look like a motorcycle/Santa boot instead of dressy casual fashion boot. I decided to get the Ecco GTX instead, which had more ankle flexibility, smoother leather, and a sleeker toe. If I hadn't seen the Ecco, though, I would definitely have kept this one.

I like the structure of this boot, but am returning because the calf area was too roomy for my leg. I do not have small calves (or large) - but they gapped too much for my leg - and that was accentuated by the structure of this boot. Also, if you are used to the classic Ugg, the weight of these boots will take getting used to...

Please ask the manufacturer to offer this boot is sizes 13 and 14, as this Nation's feet are getting longer. As for comfort, the this cushioned insole on a hardpan sole is not comfortable for thos who stand for long periods of time. The traction is a big plus.

Great length for a long sock to ruffle up above them just below the knee (I am about 5'1"). I have narrow calves and these are pretty tight; not sure whether they'd fit a larger calf comfortably. The foot size is definitely not generous. I ordered 6 which is usual for me if a shoe is not running small, but it is nearly too short; not quite enough to send back from the UK though (toes don't quite touch the end but a bit too close for comfort!) I also have a fairly wide foot and I am really hoping they stretch fast; they are not as giving or soft as other Uggs. Look great with leggings though!

These boots are very warm and comfortable, but they are not nearly as sleek as they look in the photos. I was hoping for a dressier boot to wear with skirts. This isn't it. But I'm keeping them because they are so warm and well made. Beautiful leather. They are quite baggy right above the foot at the ankle area as someone else mentioned. Also, my calf is 13½" around and these fit snug. I got the chocolate brown leather and they have a rugged look to them. I'm happy with them, but I still need something a bit dressier!

Forgot to add: the removable insole allows you to wear them with socks or without. Not all the Uggs have the removable insole - so this yet another great feature.

Finally, after much research and trying on tons of boots - I think I found my winter boot!. This is my first pair of Uggs. I have wanted a pair in the past, but couldn't see paying the money for a big comfy boot that made my feet and legs look like an elephants. I bought the skylar first but returned it. It was nice but a bit stiff and the style a bit too trendy for me. Saw the Broome online and went to Bloomingdales to check it out. They didn't have the suede, but I tried on the black leather. The salesman didn't know they came in half sizes, so I tried the 6 and 7; with typical problems I've always had with Uggs (6 too short/7 too big); so I knew 6.5 would fit perfect. (I usually wear between a 6.5 to 7 depending on the shoe.) I was conflicted because suede is a little more delicate and I wanted a sturdy boot that can handle the various winter weather; but I didn't care much for the black leather Broome. It kind-of looked like a matte black rain boot. I ended up ordering the black suede on Zappos (which is the best!!!). I love how simple and nice this boot is. (Not a bunch of logos; just one little silver button in the back.) I hope if I spray them, they will handle the elements with grace. Cons: the inside seems to shed a little; just from trying them on the first time. I don't know if this is normal or will continue...but thought it was strange. Also, I am 5'2 and 110lbs and they just fit my calves, with very little room for pants. I was able to get my pants inside, but think a thin legging would probably be the only type of pants I can tuck. (I do have slightly muscular calves but not big by any means.) I don't know if they will stretch but we'll see. Lastly, the shearling does show a little from the top of the boot and since it's not black, it's kind-of annoying. Wish they would have at least put black shearling around the top. However, they are warm, have arch support and will look good for both casual and going out. Over-all I am happy and think this is going to be a great 'go to' winter boot.

Disappointed! I loved the simple look of these boots. I was so excited when they arrived. I wore them around the house for hours before venturing outside. They seemed to be a perfect fit. After only 4 wears they are very stretched out (in every part of the boot) and uncomfortable. I am normally a size 9 1/2 so I ordered a 9 allowing for some stretch. The entire boot is now significantly larger on me. For me this was expensive and I am sad that I am stuck with boots that don't fit (and cold feet).

Not a very pretty looking shoe. Also, the inside is not as thick as the original UGG lining which is what I was looking for.

I was really excited to get these boots, tried really hard to like them, but couldn't. They were warm, which was my reason for getting them. The problem is that they were not comfortable, and the inside lining shows from the top, which really throws the looks off. They will be returned.

Wanted to love this boot, I wear my daughters cast-off Ugg Classics but wanted a more finished look for wearing out of the house! Anyway, these were rather clunky - which I could've handled if my calf wasn't swimming in this boot. I wonder if it is possible to make an Ugg boot with a narrow calf????

These are narrower than I expected in the toe box, and do not run as large as regular Uggs (so get your normal size rather than your "Ugg size"). Not very comfortable...not super soft inside like regular Uggs. Pretty big in the calf. Won't keep overall. Not a good fit and not cute enough.

I love how these boots look and the footbed feels very comfortable. Unfortunately I will be returning them because the shaft is way too tight - would not be able to tuck in leggings or skinny jeans and zip them up. I do not have wide calves so I guess Uggs are intended for skinny girls?? Too bad!

This boot is beautiful and the lining is extra comfy. Unfortunately, they don't fit my athletic calves. The calf does not accommodate 16½ inches as stated. I agree with others...do not order this if the widest portion of your calf is greater than 15 inches. Sadly, these are being returned because they can't be zipped.
