These boots are simply wonderful! Very warm, very stylish, very simple and elegant. I highly recommend them if you, like me, need warm shoes but are put off by the funky style of the classic Ugg boots. I should also add that I have large muscular calves (15.50) and that the 9½ fits greatly. They were a bit tight at the beginning, but then the boot molds around your legs, as it is made of natural leather. I went up half size (mostly because the 9 was not immediately available). The boot feels roomy, but not big. I think they run probably 1/4 size smaller because of the fur lining.

This boot is extremely comfortable and keeps my feet warm and cozy. It is stylish and rugged at the same time.

Super comfortable, very warm. Actually stylish for UGG boots, I usually wear really dressy boots but these are great. Love them.

It was love at first sight. And then I put them on and seriously, I would sleep in them if I could. They fit like they were made for me. Perfect for the Pacific northwest weather; warm, comfortable and good traction. They look equally killer with jeans or a skirt. They are fully lined with sheepskin, these boots are a perfect addition to a mild-winter wardrobe. They are prettier than snow boots but still sturdy and warm. I almost wish I had them in all the colors.

I love these boots! I have been wearing them ALL the time. I wear them to work in a very nice restaurant and then to go shovel snow out of the driveway. I hate to have to take them off.

These are great Uggs! They are so warm and cozy. I bought the waterproofing spray to help get through the winter.

These boots are great. Do not hesitate! They are comfortable, warm, stylish and true to size. I am an 8½ and the 8½ fits perfectly. Do not go down in size. If you have to get a whole size, go up half a size. I am considering black suede in this style as well. That is how much I like them. I have been wearing classic tall Uggs for two years and these are a great compliment. Zappos was great! I accidentally ordered the wrong size and customer service fixed my order and they arrived the very next day! I am now a loyal customer!

Love these boots! They are just what I was looking for - high enough to wear with my skinny jeans and a little dressier than my other UGGS. NIce and toasty. Great boot.

Beautiful and comfortable and earthy. They fit nicely on my legs and the fur is divine. Everyone should have some Uggs.

Fabulous boot, very comfy, would be perfect for very cold climate, only drawback was lining was visible at top of boot, ordered wide and fit my high arched, wide foot perfectly.

I really love these boots. After buying them I read they were "perfect for the fall" and was afraid they wouldn't be warm enough for Michigan winters - what I needed them for. Well, if I wear them on a day that's 50 degrees or warmer, my feet get HOT, so I am very confident they are warm enough for the winter! I have had a lot of compliments and inquirers about these boots - everyone is surprised when I tell them they are Ugg ("I didn't know Ugg made, well, CUTE boots!") They have a good grip, I love the color (it goes with everything, black included even though they are brown). My only issue is that I fear the inside heel area sheepskin lining will wear - I can feel the boot creasing in that area and rubbing along my ankle/heel.

Took me forever to find a pair of "fitted" Uggs (not the loose, floppy kind) that were large enough in the calf area. Most of them are WAY to small for average calves. If you are a stick figure, this may not be an issue, but my calves are not huge, and this was the only pair of Uggs that had enough room. The shearling on the inside is absolutely the same soft loveliness I loved in my Ultimate Braided pair. I ordered the "fawn" color, and it is defiantly different that the color pictured. While I would have been happier with the color in the picture, the true color was nice too. It is a bit less yellow, and more of a muddy light brown. There is a removable liner in the boot, and there is JUST enough room in the toe box to add an insert underneath. As with all Uggs, I wish they had arch support, or any sole cushioning. Uber cute, fits great, and super warm. Winner!

This boot is great I wear it barefoot in the bone chilling temps we have right now and my feet are toasty warm. The black leather is more of a nubuck/leather then it looks in the picture, but still nice. However, even though it has a 15'' circumference, it feels a little smaller because of the lining inside. My calf measures 15'' at the widest and it barely zips up. I hope they will stretch a little in time. Maybe I'll be able to wear them over skinny jeans after a while. If you're looking for a nice warm boot, I would recommend this. It's my first pair of Uggs, and I plan to get another style for more casual days in the future. Zappos was excellent and upgraded my shipping free of charge overnight! I tell everyone about your superior selection and service. This is my second purchase online and I plan to buy more!

Boots are very warm and comfy however with the fur lining it makes it smaller. Even though I ordered 2 sizes, I ended up returning both because they did not zip up my leg with pants tucked in. Also, note that the toe and the heel are a different shade of brown which I did not notice when ordering.

This is the first pair of Uggs I have owned and I am glad I started so well. I like tall boots - I prefer them to other boots because they are warmer and the Broome is no exception. In fact, with the sheepskin lining, my feet and legs have the chance to stay warmer and drier than usual. However (and though this is technically a complaint, it is a fairly mild one), I still sometimes experience cold toes. Since I live in an area that gets plenty of snow in Winter, I want my boots to keep my feet dry and warm. Tall order. The Broome does all right. I just wear foot warmers on the days that I will be outside longer than usual. My only other nit-picky issues with the Broome are the saggy ankles, tough zipper (my calves may just be really big and I am wearing layers), and the rather large foot bed. You cannot tell in the photo, but the sleek stylishness of the foot portion of the boot is actually quite wide and bit bulky; it is what it looks like, not how it feels on my foot. On my foot, the boot feels true to size. Still, none of these issues keeps me from wearing the Broome, and I would probably recommend it others who need a warm boot for Winter. If I can shovel snow in these babies, then they're not all bad.

This boot is beautiful but sadly I had to return it. I have a wide calf. Normally boots with a calf size of 16" or more fit me without problems so I thought this boot would work. But the measurements were taken from the exterior of the boot, not the interior. The suede exterior and thick fur lining make the interior of the boot much thinner than you expect. Other than that problem, the boot seemed very warm and comfortable. I also liked that it was a zip up and not a pull on.

Because I wear a size 12, I was very excited to find a more feminine boot that also was relatively flat and had good traction. The boot is snug but not tight. I do, however, find the leg of it stiff, and there's a little pressure on the ball of the foot. I'm used to wearing well-contoured flats, like Chacos. I'm hoping they'll loosen up with wear.

I love the boots. They were very comfortable. I bought them for a trip to Europe. I wanted cute boots that were comfortable for long walks. These boots were perfect. They are a bit heavy but that didn't make my feet or legs hurt so it is okay. The bad thing is you can see the fur out the top.

Great comfortable boot! I first ordered the Uggs Belcloud which looked great but was very uncomfortable on (very wide at ankle). This was my second choice, but I'm glad I wound up with these boots as they are super cozy and ultra comfortable. I only wished they weren't bitonal, but I think the contrast will fade with age. Oh, and they fit my rather big calves very well! I can even tuck (thin) pants in.

These boots are practically and beautifully for every day use. Warm and cozy for winter in Utah.

This shoe looks nice enough (although somewhat bulky), but I'm sad to say it did not close around my 15" calf. Very disappointing, as the description promised 16.5" circumference and I really need a warm winter shoe for my trip to Moscow. For anyone in a similar fix, I can say that I was able to find a shearling-lined boot that fits from another brand (see my brand recommendation below).

These are beautiful, comfortable, warm, well-made boots. Unfortunately, because of their thickness and cut (wide at the calf), they will fit awkwardly under bootcut jeans, and seem meant mostly for skirts or tucking in skinny jeans - which limits their use too much for me.

I'm undecided about returning these. I was looking for a boot that was comfortable for city walking, somewhat stylish and warm. I plan I'm 5/8, weigh 160 pounds and have a 16.50 inch calf (I run a lot). These boots 'just' fit my calves with no room for skinny jeans, or thick heavy socks. I'm hoping the boot leather will stretch a little bit. I slide a little bit in the heels and ankle; which makes me wonder: "Perhaps this boot is too big?" I ordered a 10 and I'm usually a 9.5. This boot is by far the best boot I've found thus far (I've tried on 10 pairs). I might just keep them for lack of any better options at this time.

Definitely more attractive than regular UGG shoes, and nice and warm. A little stiff, but I'm sure it'll soften up with some wear. 6.5 was too big, so I'm returning it for a 6.

Super comfy inside! But I personally didn't like the dark glossy toe and heel in the leather. As far as fit, they felt great - except I couldn't get them zipped up - not even half way. There is no give in these boots in the calf. If your calf measures larger than 15 inches, I don't think that they will zip up. Normally I wear a 9½ or a 10. I ordered the 9½ and there was extra room for socks. When the sheepskin inside packs down, they might even be a bit sloppy. I suggest ordering down a half size.
