The sole felt too heavy for me and pulled down at the heel. I have another pair of Keens, but I guess they are lighter because they fit perfectly from day 1.

I recently had bunion surgery, having lived with foot pain for 57 years. I also have a neuroma which causes constant pain, especially when shoes do not have a wide toe base. I bought these shoes because they were cute, and I am used to wearing somewhat ugly shoes just for comfort. I have never been so comfortable.....I consequently, ordered two pairs of the Toyah in the tie version. One I wear as my new walking shoes (I walk a couple miles daily), the other with jeans, etc. They all look great, and for the first time in years, I can walk around New York, shopping, etc. without giving a thought to my feet. I highly recommend the Mary Jane or tie version....and hope Keen never discontinues this shoe. Thanks, Keen. ..my new favorite shoe. And, Zapppos....always fast and convenient

I'm a big Keen fan - I have 9 pair. These run really large. I wear 8½ pretty consistently with this brand. I had to go a half size smaller and still my foot nearly slips out of the shoe when I walk. I put a pad in and that helped. Really comfortable otherwise.

Super comfortable, Note: they run about a 1/2 size larger than usual. I didn't believe the other reviews, because I have a wide foot, but I did end up sending them back and getting a smaller size. I agree with most of the good reviews. One thing that I noticed that no one else mentioned, was these shoes make my feet kind of hot. Not a lot of ventilation. That's my only downside though. I would order another pair again!

Super comfortable shoe. I buy Keens a lot for the arch support and comfortable sole. This is one of the best Keens I own.

The top of the shoe does not feel high enough for my foot. I have been wearing Keens religiously for 4-5 years, and this one just doesn't do it for me. The leather is very thick, and the shoe is otherwise comfortable, but maybe for my high arches I just need more height in the footbed area. The width feels good.

I love these shoes! I wear them almost every day (to work, etc.), and take long walks in them. They are very cute and comfortable. One reviewer did remark that they seem to run small, and I would agree. I have another pair of Keen's in a 9.5 and figured that the sizing would be the same, but the 9.5 was too small, the 10 fits perfect. Wish I had taken that into account beforehand, but Zappos makes it so easy to return.

This style of Keen’s runs a size small for some reason. Great shoe.

This is a good, sturdy,(but not too heavy) shoe that is easy to walk in for long periods. Combine a roomy toe box with an adjustible strap at the instep, and this shoe is good for many people with foot problems. Although not the most attractive shoe, it can be worn with pants or skirts. Give it a try. I don't think you will be disappointed. And of course, Zappos service is the best anywhere!

I thought these looked neat so I gave them a try. These are wonderful. They are cute and feel like tennis shoes but look like office shoes. They also keep my feet warm during the cold weather. I am going to buy another pair of Keen shoes because I like these so much. I had never heard of the Keen brand before but I love them now.

These shoes are very comfortable from the time I got them out of the box. I have had surgery on my Achilles tendon and have other foot problems, these shoes are a blessing to me. The shoes do run about a half size large, but that gives me room for winter socks. I have had many compliments. Zappos service is supreme.

Love! Absolutely one of the best purchases for shoes, especially if you are a teacher. I spend my days constantly on my feet; perfect shoes for comfort and style.

So comfortable! They fit a little bit loose on me (which is often the case for 11s but 10s are usually too small), so I was suspicious that they would rub, but they don't at all. I walked all over Paris for a week and 1 mile each way to work since coming home. I keep picking these shoes every morning because they are just that comfortable. They are a little clunky looking, but not any more than you would guess by looking at the picture.

Comfy shoe, I bought it a little early so I could have a break-in period if needed before an international trip.

I usually wear an 8 in Keen but these felt wider then usual. Cute shoe, but not a good fit for me. Think the 7.5 will be too short. Too bad.

The seam on the inside of the strap rubs the skin right off your foot which makes a very uncomfortable shoe. The shoe looks nice but a little chunkier than I thought it would be. I have an extra wide foot so the width was perfect. Sent it back due to the strap.

This is my first pair of Keen shoes and from the moment I tried them on, knew they would be forever comfortable. The madder brown is a nice brown/reddish color that works well with black, browns, and mauve colored clothing. I have almost flat feet and am only 5'2" so they give my feet not only some much needed support, but also gives me height.

I splurged on these shoes to wear them at my job where hours of standing is required. I\'ve been really impressed by their fit and support, especially when I come home and put on my old tennis shoes and realized how much better the Keen structure feels. I\'ve had a bit of a problem with my little toes being pinched on my left side after 8 hours of standing, so that\'s unfortunate, but overall I\'m quite happy with these shoes.

Super comfy for all-day wear. I found the 9 a little too short in the toe, but the 9.5 was a tad roomy, especially in the width, so I added a generic drug-store footbed liner under the flexible Keen liner, and I am set - a perfect fit! Paired with SmartWool socks, they will be ideal for fall and winter - much cuter, warmer, and more weather resistant than regular athletic shoes. After several weeks of wear they have conformed nicely to my foot, and I can slip them on and off as needed without using the buckle each time. I think these will be my errand shoes for the next few years! The only issue is that if you have a very narrow foot, these may not work for you.

These shoes are so comfy and versatile! They do run a bit roomy, but they're still comfortable to walk in even with bare feet. I work in an office, so I'm very happy to have comfortable, sturdy shoes for walking that still pass the dress code. I do believe these are my new favorite shoes!

I am 6 months pregnant and wear size 11 so store shopping was not very successful. Zappos saved the day again! After reading reviews that this shoe runs a bit roomy, I tried them out. I am so impressed with the comfort level. They are cute to wear with khakis or jeans. A little clunky but not heavy. The cushion in the heel helps comfort my ankles and knees as well. I'm so happy to find a cute comfy shoe to wear throughout the rest of my pregnancy and after.

Love my new Keen Toyah's! This brand name has never let me down so far. Great support and extremely comfortable. I do find the shoes to be a tiny bit loose in the heel, but I have not worn them with socks yet. Keen shoes are expensive, but in my experience, worth every penny! They are like the wonderful Zappos, they just never let you down!

I wear a lot of Keens. These are one of the most comfortable pairs from the get go. Padded just above the heel, so no blisters in the back. Very good foot bed contours. They look like the picture. I am very happy!

What can I really say about these shoes? They are fantastic. I have been touring around great Britain on holiday and these shoes have not given me one blister since putting them on. Whether traveling on holiday or running around the office, these are great shoes.
