As always Zappos customer service and shipping was great. I normally wear an 8.5/9. I have Keen sandals in a 9, but decided after reading other reviews that I should order an 8.5 and 9. Upon receiving, I discovered that both were too big. I returned them for an 8 and found that they fit much better. Believe the reviews that say they run about 1/2 size too big. I'm planning to wear these on my trip to Europe as they will work great with jeans, capris or khakis.

Just got these and love them. Super cute without being clunky like some rugged shoes, and comfortable for long walks around the city or country. I know enough from previous Keen shoes that they typically run large. I normally wear 8.5 but ordered an 8 and they're still a little big but I'm keeping them. Next time I might even try a full size down from my normal 8.5. Also, I have wide feet and Keens are perfect for me. For those with narrow feet I imagine these would be a bit floppy around the front foot. I'm tempted to get these in another color.... And always, great service from Zappos! Don't know how you guys do it, I'm ever impressed. Thanks!

Very pleased, as usual, with my Keen purchase. I have several of the Keen Mary Jane styles in a variety of colors, but did not have a black. These do the trick. Usual ample room in the toe box and sneaker-like feeling. The edge on top hits me in just the right place instead of cutting into my "bunion area." These are cute enough to wear almost anywhere -- I would draw the line at a cocktail party or wedding. Bravo, once again, Zappos.

I love Keen shoes, and started looking in their selection when I needed a new set of dependable shoes for my 10 hours, on my feet, work days. These shoes are the color of tire rubber, and matte finish. My black work pants are more black, but they still look okay. I have big, moderately wide feet and refuse to wear uncomfortable shoes, and these fit the bill nicely. I wear size 11m, and these feel a little wide and long compared to the same size in other company's shoes, but when closely compared to my Keen sandals, the the footbeds are exactly the same, so I think it might be that I expected a different fit between sport sandals and work shoes. So, I'm keeping them.

Great shoes! I normally wear size 9 Keens; had to go with 8 1/2 on these. They are a little hefty for a summer shoe, but I work around ceramic kilns so they are great for toe protection. Keen made a shoe similar to this a couple years ago with no heal (the were awesome!) and this was the closest replacement I could find.

This pair of shoes is awesome! I got the green pair and use these for walking. They are incredibly comfortable but I had a hard time deciding on what size after reading the reviews. I finally went to an REI to buy them and would have if they had the color I wanted. After trying them on I decided on a 9½. I wear 10 almost always and rarely a 9½. I probably could have gotten a 9 but thought my toes might hit the front of the shoe and I wanted to use these for walks so stayed with the 9½. I hope this helps those with size questions

I love these. I am wearing them for the 1st time today barefoot and they are very comfortable and supportive. I did order 1/2 size smaller than I usually order for Keene. My boots are 8.5 in Keene and for these I got an 8 and they are perfect.

Love Love Love!! Keens are the only shoes I wear. These shoes remind me why! They are super comfy right out of the box, have great support and the color is lovely! (I bought the green pair). Can't wait to pick up a few more pairs of these in different colors! Yay Keen!

This is a follow up review. I recently wore these shoes on a ten day trip to London. I spent a lot of time walking and standing, and these shoes were awesome. They look great with everything from jeans to a skirt. I even wore them to the opera. I can wear them with a light sock and have plenty of room in the toebox. I have two other pairs in the brown and grey. I have to say that I won't be wearing any shoes with a narrower toebox. Why the heck I've been torturing my feet for years I don't know. Keen, please keep making the rounded toebox!

After I read the reviews of the Keen Toyah MJ, I thought it would be safest to order 1/2 size smaller; from size 6 down to 5 1/2. They were too small. But they appear to be nice fitting otherwise and appear to be a good quality shoe.

A friend of mine had these shoes in brown and I thought they were adorable. I found them locally in my size, but only in black...Zappos to the rescue! They had my size and the color I wanted. The green is very true to the color on the website photo, so make sure you like green if you buy this shoe. The shoe itself is insanely comfortable from the get-go. I had concerns about a medium, because I have wide feet, and almost always need to buy a wide shoe, but in this case, these Keens offer a load of room in the toe box. They seem to be very well-made, but this is the first pair of Keens I have purchased and can't attest to anything beyond their great fit and superb comfort. If they turn out to be durable as well, they won't be my last pair.

Wow. A really nicely designed shoe from Keen. I hadn't bought any of their Mary Janes since the Sydney was taken out of production, but I like this just as much, maybe a little bit more. Immediate comfort out of the box, roomy toe box, great arch support, and they even got a compliment on looks (in the green) from my teenage daughter. Easy to slip on and off, a big plus in my book. A couple of small complaints: heel is too wide; fortunately, the MJ strap keeps them on well enough. And I liked the someone less sporty style of the Sydney, which I could wear to work. I suppose I'll wear these to work as well, but they aren't quite as appropriate. Often I find Keens a little smaller than marked, so I bought three sizes...the smallest, my true size, fit. Love the free return, love Zappos.

As a busy grandmother to a 13, 7, 4 and 2 year old love these shoes as I look somewhat stylish and yet can run to catch them, play whatever activity comes up, and can get my feet run over and stepped on without any damage to the shoes or feet. I do try to keep up with the kids and these allow me to do it. I love the shoes and kids.

I love this shoe - I've had 2 of the Sydney II but they don't make it anymore. But these have to go back -- they are too big -- I wish Keen would get their act together and make their sizes consistent between shoes. I don't think a smaller size will work as the heel box is so wide it is going up and down on my heel.

I really love these shoes. I bought them to replace my Keen Calistoga Mary Jane's which I've had for about 4 years. They are not quite as cute in styling, but still way cuter them some of the boxier Keen styles. I've worn them in rain and snow so far and they performed great in both.

Love the style! Too wide through the heel for me; my foot was moving around even with strap tightened all the way down Unfortunately, these will have to go back.

Physical therapists tell me that, because of my flat feet and over pronation, I need to change the kind of shoes I wear. I picked these because they have some level of cuteness, my Sole orthopedics fit in them, and they comply with other guidelines I was given. I bought them to wear on a trip (walking trip!) to Ireland and they were perfect! They are as comfortable as tennis shoes but have a dressier appearance. Because they are all black, I don't think they have as clownish an appearance that I feel many Keen shoes have. I wear a size 8 or 39 in European sizes, yet I wear a 7.5 in this shoe.

These shoes were out-of-the-box comfortable. I received them at work, put them on and worked a full day in them. I only want to wear these at work. My feet say ah when I put them on. They are true to size.

I love the Keen brand, but find all of them run about 1/2 size small on me. So I usually wear an 8 and I order 8.5 in the Keens. I was looking for a nice gray shoe and the Toyah is perfect. Very comfortable, and I am a sucker for a MaryJane style. These are great. I own about 8 pairs of Keens. Love them all.

Very comfortable shoes. However, Keens are always too wide for me. Sizing on the Toyah MJ is too big by one-half size. Several others remarked on this, too.

This is my second pair of this style. I have flat feet and plantar fasciitis and there are not too many shoes that a comfortable for long walks. I take these when traveling and wear all day and do fine.

A bit clunky looking, but great arch support. Also wide. I have a narrow heel and my foot is wide across the front...these felt great, but unfortunately, my heel slipped out every time I took a step. Reluctantly sending them back.

Slightly large. The picture does not show, but color is not a very dark blue, and has a slight metallic look. Also the strap is a buckle closure, which I think a velcro closure would be easier to use. The shoes did feel comfortable nonetheless.

A nice shoe but runs way big. I always take an 11 med, but this "11 med" was so big and wide it flopped off my foot. I'm going to try a 10 1/2 narrow.
