Got them for my wife for upcoming Alaska trip and they seem perfect. They fit over pants and keep her dry. Easy to put on over boots. No pockets. They have a functional cut and a form fitting stylish one.

Really like these. Just what I needed to keep away wind and rain.

Good pants, comfortable fit, protects against rain

I'm a size 14 in most jeans and went with the XL. Fits great. I'm 5'5" and with my boots on, they don't drag at all. I'm outside quite a bit in them in the winter and they do a good job keeping in warmth, but not sure how they are if you're in deep snow. Overall, worth the price!

I'm very pleased with the fit of these waterproof pants. I bought one size bigger than normal to allow room for layers underneath.

It's monsoon season here in Asia, and my wife tried them in a pouring rain, and they kept her absolutely dry! Great product...love the mesh lining which helped the pants not stick to her legs.

Finally got to test this product in the rain. I stayed dry and the pants were easy to put on over hiking boots. Very satisfied with this product. Would be nice to have a pocket or two.

Wore them fishing in the rain and they kept me dry all day!exactly what I bought them and they performed perfectly!

I bought these rain pants for a camping trip over memorial day. We had a couple days with rain and wind. These pants are amazing! They not only kept me dry from the rain, but I wore them mostly every day as a windbreaker too. The material is breathable and flexible. The pants fit true to size. I usually wear a L, but got an XL to make sure I could fit a few extra layers underneath. I probably could have ordered the L and still had ample wiggle room. I love these pants and am extremely satisfied with my purchase!

excellent! after many years of wearing insufficient rain pants i ordered . very surprised how dry i stay all day in the rain. the only negative is i am short, so no matter how tight i velcro the hem it still drags in the back. also how impossible would it be to have a rain proof pocket? but 100% happy with this purchased. my coworkers ordered some now. thanks

I've been using these for a while and I love them!

These rain pants are great. They fit over regular pants easily. They will work great with my Columbia rain jacket. Not that rubbery feeling material. Nice addition for outdoors when it is raining.

They are very nice and comfortable which live up to the waterproof description. Love the adjustable straps at bottom so you can get your shoes on easily.

I just received it and it is just what I am looking for. I am 5'5 133 pounds. Small with short length fits perfectly. It is loose enough to wear my hiking pants beneath it but not baggy. Perfect length since I have short legs it is hard to find pants with perfect length. I love hiking and it rains a lot in winter here. I was caught up in a few rainy hikes and soaked up in the winter is no fun. So i started looking for a good rain hiking pants. This is a good choice given the budget.

They are waterproof, breathable, and comfortable. I did order a size bigger (a medium instead of a small). Just to make sure I can layer up.

I'm a school crossing guard and these pants are AMAZING! Today we had a really bad storm with winds reaching 60mph my coworkers were all soaked while I was nice and DRY! THEY WILL DEFINITELY BE PURCHASING THESE PANTS! Great product!

I'm 5'4" 168 pounds and the petite L is great. I was worried it might be too short on me but it's perfect. I've only tested the pants running in light rain but so far so good, I've stayed nice and dry. Fit is pretty roomy on me which mean the pants can accommodate layers when I go camping. I got these pants because I'm dedicated to running in all kinds of weather and my ancient rain paints were no longer cutting the mustard. If I could make one small adjustment I'd add some electric to part of the cuff!

would be nice if they had a pass thru to access your pockets, glad it has a short inseem

No big storms yet, but, I believe the Storm Surge pants will live up to the name. Feel of product is nice and quality is great. Bring on the storms!

I am really happy with these rain pants. I have had these pants now for over a month and these pants keep me dry when I am outside for hours at a time. I am 5'3 and ordered the short. I am so glad that Columbia had the option for ordering short.

Loved that I could pick either short or regular length. The short length is perfect for me, I am 5'2". I love that I have stayed dry when out walking in the rain. My friend whom I was walking with was so impressed at I was dry and she was wet and went home and ordered a pair of "Storm Surge Rain Pants"!

Gave these pants their first test on a rainy/snowy backpacking weekend and they did great! Kept me dry and held up extremely well. Money well spent!

Used these pants in Kauai in December for hiking in the rain, and the pants kept me dry. Only con is that the boots had to e removed to take the pants off, but this was not a major issue.

I just bought my second pair of these rain pants. I had the others for years and they served me during my work as an outdoor educator who's very hard on her gear! I had to buy these because I had to hop a fence recently and finally tore a large hole in the fabric of my first pair. Care of note: I wash gentle cycle, hang dry, then spray on Griot's Garage Fabric Protectant and allow to dry. No leaks ever!!! Great price on these, too. Thanks for always having the greatest gear, Columbia!!!
