I'm 5ft and fit an XS and they were very long on me, even with tying the velcro. Had an extra 4-6 inches extra length.

Perfect pants to keep in my pack to slip over my hiking pants when it rains. Nice mesh lining, velcro strap to adjust fit around ankles. Couldn't find these kind of pants anywhere else.

I love these pants. I wear them over yoga pants for x-country skiing, walking in the cold, and windy days.

Great pants. I loved mine so much I gifted to 3 others this Christmas. Wish Columbia would bring back the old design with the zips and snaps up the legs.

After reading other reviews about the pants running large, I decided to order the XS with 29" inseam and it was a PERFECT fit for me! My jean size is normally 2-4. I'm 5'0, 115 lbs. with 28" waist and the XS Storm Surge Rain Pants are the perfect fit for me! Wore them hiking in the pouring rain over the top of my running tights and the pants kept me dry! My only complaint is that I wish the velcro fastener on the bottom of the leg was placed to get a tighter fit around the bottom of my leg. Other than that, these seem to have good quality construction to last me through many miles of hiking in the Pacific NW rain.

I bought an extra large as I plan to wear over my pants. They are a little baggy in the leg, but will work fine keeping me dry on my PNW walks in the rain

Living in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, we frequently experience serious winter weather. I love the outdoors and won't be hampered by a little cold and snow. I wear these rain pants over leggings and go out hiking or walking in very frigid temperatures. The pants block the wind and the snow. I am never cold or wet no matter what. They run true to Columbia's size chart. The pants are very light weight with a featherweight lining and mesh. I never use the adjustable draw string in the waistband but it's there if you need it. I like that you can tighten up the bottom of the pant leg with the adjustable Velcro strap enclosure. If you need to stash some cash, there is a small inner pocket just below the waistband in the front. If you want to stay warm in the winter, here you go! Columbia, don't ever stop making these pants!

Thank you Columbia for bringing back wind pants. I've been searching high and low for these pants. If you are like me and hate wearing leggings for walking or running these are the pants we all wore in the 80's and 90's. The pants are very slimming and have the classic boot cut that does not drag. Also, there is a Velcro strap if you prefer the bottom tighter. I love these pants and would love to see them in a classic navy and a gunmetal grey. I ordered an extra small, and most likely will buy more!

These were purchased for our preschool teachers who teach Forest School. Even in nature a girl wants to look fabulous. Coupled with a rain jacket these pants keep our staff warm, dry and moving.

Great pants! Spending 3 months in Iceland hiking in the rain quite a bit, and these pants have been a lifesaver! They have truly kept me dry, and help to break the cold wind. They are a bit less expensive than other brands I have found, and they work great. They are worth the money!

I was looking for a pair of nylon water resistant pants mainly for two reasons. 1 To snow blow the driveway and shovel in the winter time (to keep me dry). 2 To weed wack my lawn in the summer (the grass will not stick to these pants as opposed to cotton/poly pants). These are a bit roomy (but they should be, to keep you warmer in the winter) and they are "high rise". What I did was fold over the waist band, so that they go from a "high rise" pant to a "mid rise" pant. These pants are great quality and I am so glad that I found them.

I bought these to wear on an upcoming Alaska trip. They fit well, slightly large, but could allow putting them on over regular wear, if necessary. Good quality, minus pockets, but I understand it might impede the water resistance. Now, if they perform well, they will be the perfect rain pants!

Just what I needed. Comfortable, enough room to wear over pants or by themself. Haven't tried in the rain yet but knowing Columbia's quality I have confidence it will work as needed.

Nice rain pants, I had to order a smaller size but they are designed to fit over other clothing. Easy to sit down with them on, the material is not still. I have not tried them in wet conditions yet.

I've been wearing this all winter with warm base layers underneath. They're light weight, and I love the elastic waist band. Best option I've found for the price. Will definitely be recommending these to friends.
