I purchased these rain pants and they are a great material but they are too long for me. I ordered a large "short" but they are way too long. I was looking to see if I could just hem them but since the bottoms have velcro strip that is impossible. I will need to return them.

Originally ordered size XXL short based on Columbia's recommended size and my height 5'4" for trip to 3 Alaskan national parks. That pair was too large and too long. I will be returning that pair. I ordered one size smaller still short length. The XL fits OK except it is still 2-3 inches too long. Since I have no time to order something else I will take them and either blouse them or roll up the legs. I haven't tried them in the rain yet.

I am 5' 1" and 125 lbs. I got a petite size XS and it was large and long on me. I had hoped to wear this on the boat for my paddling sport but saw that the pant legs would just drag inconveniently. I didn't get the chance to test the material as I returned this immediately.

I ordered these pants with high hopes to use them on an upcoming outdoor hiking trip. I used the size guide to determine I would need a medium. I am 5'1'' and weight 138 pounds. These pants were GIGANTIC! When I help them up out of the bag, they were so long they came up to my chest. The pants had an extremely wide leg and I was so disappointed that they would not work for my trip. The bag they came in was also missing any kind of order slip or directions on how to return. Very sad that these didn't work out.

These pants run really really large. I ended up with an XS and they were still too large and had to sadly return

These are fine for being waterproof but I need them to go over my hiking boot. These have netting inside that catches on your boots.

Normal sized waist attached to voluminous legs. I looked like a sailboat.

Unless you have legs as wide as an elephant and no butt, these pants will look ridiculous on you. I'm seriously skeptical of all the positive reviews. Are they fake? I tried these pants on when they arrived, had a good laugh, and immediately sent them back. FYI: I'm a medium and I ordered a medium. They were the correct length, but the style and cut was ridiculous.

I'm an XL. These pants are supposed to fit over my jeans?? I can manage to squeeze them in on skin (right fit), but the whole point was to be able to wear them on top of other pants to keep my pants wam. I just got them and I want to return them!
