The fit is great. The material is great. My only critique is the bottom of the pants are very wide (probably to fit over shoes when putting on). They're so wide, it makes me nervous the pant will get caught in the bike gear. I wish the Velcro cinched the ankles a little tighter. Other than that, it's a fine quality pant for the price.

The fit was true to size and I like that it was slimmer and not so boxy. But no pockets was a deal breaker for me so I ended up returning

I'm 5'2" . I ordered the "short" length and XL to fit over jeans & they are a good fit. The only improvement I'll suggest is more Velcro length. The ankle openings are very large, my guess is to allow to fit over boots.
I went to sewing store and picked up some black Velcro strips to extend the area to tighten at ankle. Seems like a good fix so far.

I'm so pleased with this jacket that I'd buy it again. I really wanted a packable, light jacket that's warm but also looks nice when traveling, and this is it. The shape of this jacket accentuates your curves in just the right way.

Exactly as pictured, a baggy water-repelling pant that comfortably fits over under-layers (or not), and will most likely keep me dry in the rain (haven't tested them yet). Will I win a fashion prize? Likely not (but don't care). They are a tad long but, nothing to complain about (better than too short!). They were especially "attractive" while on sale and having a gift card balance to get rid of.

These rain pants are light weight with a lining that is not heavy. I am 5'3" and they were 4 " too long. Velcro on the bottom of the pant leg helps to secure them arounf the ankle. Wish there were pockets.

Hard to find quality light weight rain pants. They are made well and fit. Only wish there was another option for leg width. I feel I can fit two legs in each pant leg

I like the feel of these pants and they do keep me dry. However, they are still TOO long, even for petite. I also was disappointed that they don't have pockets!

Great quality. Fit is not super flattering but to be expected with this type of pant. Very comfortable. Pleased with my purchase

The width of the leg is wider than I thought, but that allows you to wear more layers underneath. The fabric is pretty thin, but overall, it's effective.

This is a really nice pant. My only problem was that it fit a little large and had to return it. I would recommend ordering one size down.

I haven't used it during a heavy rain yet but as far as a waterproof pant it did the job. Definitely good quality and great fit. What I like the most about these is that you have the option of size and length. I work outside and usually wear rain pants over 5-6 layers during the winter. So while I normally wear a small/short, I ordered a medium/short. That way I'll have the extra room for layers but don't have deal with them being longer as a normal medium would be. For that reason alone I'd rather come back to Columbia for future pant purchases.

Nice pants for what they are. They seem well made. Runs a little large. I felt they were too big for me - even the small - so I returned them.

Fit is great. I am 5'2'' and 125lbs and ordered med. Roomy enough to wear over workpants/jeans and be able to move around very freely and flexible! Withstood direct direct downpour and jeans were dry as a bone!
I only wish they had pockets and were available in more colors! Would have loved to been able to match my green Columbia raincoat!

I bought this for my wife for our outdoor trekking/ white water rafting trip. The pants were completely water proof and kept her completely dry. These are not the most stylish pants but they get the work done.

These pants are great - I need a pair for an upcoming vacation and these fit the bill. They're well-made, functional, and budget-friendly. However, they run quite large, which is why I subtracted a star.
I'm a petite person - five foot one, 108 pounds. I ordered an XS and while the waist fits (yay for elastic! I like my hiking clothes to move with me), there is a large amount of extra fabric in the thighs and the legs are incredibly long. I'd more accurately size the XS pants as an S or even an M. These pants would be five-star perfect if they offered them with an option for a "short" inseam! As such, I definitely recommend sizing down, if you have the option. Even with a pair of jeans on underneath, these pants are curiously large.
Otherwise, the pants were a great purchase - I need them to keep me dry in the Arctic, and the sizing issues do not ultimately detract from their functionality. They look large on my frame, but I need them for a hiking trail, not a runway. I like the fabric; it's strong and sturdy and ought to provide ample protection from not just rain but also wind and even a little bit of cold. They fold up small and will fit snugly in a suitcase. My favorite part of the pants is the Velcro adjustment on the ankles - it's a lifesaver for us vertically challenged hikers.
(This is irrelevant to me, as I carry a backpack and wear gloves, but these pants don't have pockets. I imagine this might be a nuisance to some.)

Got these for outdoor game coverage. As an athletic trainer, I need to be ready for all types of weather. These were perfect. Got them a week ago and this weekend stood in the rain for 4hrs Friday and 6hrs Saturday in the rain. I wore solo on Friday but Saturday I added leggings as the temp had dropped (and I hate to be cold).
I'm a size 14 in Columbia so the XLs were perfect. A little more space would be nice so I could pull on over work pants in case the weather turns. In the cases above, I knew it was going to rain the whole game.

I am 5' 1". I wear size Medium for everyday pants but for this Columbia rain pants, I need Small if not X-Small. Return it to store. Great quality though. Will recommend.

I purchased these pants to keep me dry, rafting in May. They are perfect, in that they easily pull on over regular pants. There is velcro at the ankles to tighten, which will help keep me dry. As usual in Columbia brands I purchase medium size. (5'8", 135lbs., normal build). A personal footnote, these pants are not a fashion statement or even flattering, they are totally functional and out in the wildness, as far as I am concerned function is the number one priority.

Pants fit true to size. Fit comfortably over jeans.
Good quality material. I only wish it had a slit to access pockets.

These are very good waterproof rainpaints. True to size. The two things I think would enhance these pants are zippered pockets on the exterior as well as a zippered interior pocket for keys. I would also like snugger fitting velcro closures on the leg bottoms.
