The fit was basically true to size, but the leather was SO STIFF there was no give and it was painful to walk in them. The description said buttery soft leather...which is not even close. I bought these on another website and am returning them.

the color is very sweet, not a loud blue, love it for it's Cinderella blue fairy tale shoes, but I ended up looking like the mean step sister trying to fit my big foot in a nice delicate shoe. So sad I can't even wear it. I tried breaking in, just like what it says on some reviews, but it got worse when my feet starts to swell up. It probably just this pair is made small, or it just ran pretty small and not true to size at all. I can't give a 5 star even though it's built with excellent craftsmanship and good leather, but it's no use for me because it doesn't fit me, I can't wear it, now I don't know what to do with it. I don't have a big sized feet, I'm an 8. and have ever been a sized 8. so I don't think so my feet gotten an inch or half inch bigger when this shoe arrived.. :-( .. could have been a good buy, but ended up a bad one for me.

I purchased the Carson flat in Cognac and although the shoe was beautiful, it was so very small, so I had to return it. They are very nicely made with nice materials, but for spending so much on a shoe I wasn't going to risk trying to break them in if they weren't going to work so I returned them. My normal shoe size 80% of the time is a 9.5W. If wide width isn't available I'll try a 10 because even though they are too long, they are comfortable in the toe box These 10s felt like a 9 in the toe box. They were quite narrow, but were true to size in length. I tried them on in a carpeted room and they were super slippery. I don't know if they would scuff up nicely, but since I was returning them I couldn't do that.

Just received these and while they are beautiful I cannot believe how off in size they are. I consistently wear a size 12 in a running shoe and can sometimes go down to an 11-11.5 in a dress shoe. Based on a review of these I read on another website I went with an 11 and they still fell off my feet when I walked!!! I'm afraid to re-order in a 10. I have not worn that size since 6th grade.

Too small in the toes. Couldn't go up in size or they would slip off. NO friction on sole (except a small area on the back of the heel). I was literally slipping with each step when I tried them on and walked on the carpet. It felt like waking on ice :-D Not too bad on the hardwood floor though. Aesthetically speaking they are very nice. Color and stitching... Looks beautiful. Just not practical or no where near comfortable enough for the price.
