These are a beautiful flats but run at least a 1/2 size too small, also they have a very short toe bed. I had to return because of fit.

I bought this in Kelley Green and they were so pretty! Sadly, even though I'm a size 7, the size 7 I ordered was too short and my toes curled. I had to return them.

Super cute. Wish they worked for my very narrow feet. Very gappy on the sides of my foot and feel it will only get worse as they stretch/break in. I think they'd be fine for a normal-width foot.

Very nice leather, sweet flat, but too wide and gaps with walking. Feels like the leather will stretch further so need to return.

I wanted to love these shoes, they are soft and comfortable but the 9 is too big and the 8½ is too small. Additionally, the shoes are not symmetrical which is very frustrating. I ordered multiple colors to give a try and the sizing and symmetry were off on all four pairs. I am thankful for Zappos and their awesome customer service!

Not a very flattering shoe, but a nice color. Sole is leather without any traction. I tried them on while standing on carpet and immediately went sliding. Can't take the chance that I won't slip while wearing them.

I loved the looked the look of the shoe, but for the price they don't hold up well at all. I treated them with leather protection and haven't worn them in the rain and although they are only a few weeks old they already look like last year's shoes. I paid a lot of money because I thought they would last sadly I would send them back if I could.

Nice leather feel and color. Expensive for what it is though. Fairly basic design. I'm usually an 11 but this was too snug for me. Bottom is very slippery too.

So, I completely LOVE these shoes. Super comfy, look good with pretty much everything from jeans to maxis to dresses and pencil skirts. However, I've only had them for a few months and they are already worn almost completely through on the soles in two holes. I would expect this from a cheaper shoe, but these are Frye and for the price I expected better.

I love how versatile these flats are, however there were a few things I disliked: 1.) The price 2.) They retain foot odor 3.) The sole developed a hole under the big toe after 9 months 4.) The top of the shoe looks frumpy in the toe area 5.) These flats give me bad foot cramps due to lack of arch support 6.) You cannot wear these shoes in any damp areas because the water will soak into the leather soles and cause your feet to feel soggy all day 7.) Frictionless soles are very slippery on most surfaces

I loved the look of these shoes and had to wear them for an event as soon as they arrived. My first Frye purchase turned out to be a real disappointment to me! I'm usually an 8m and found they were just on the edge of too small. I wish I returned them -- but instead I've weathered through blisters, bunions, and aching feet. I'd suggest trying Frye on in person if you've never worn their shoes.

The color is great and the leather is supple. I'm a fairly standard 8.5 with moderate flat arches; not so much that I can't walk barefoot, but such that flats without support aren't comfortable for me. These didn't have much support, but had some cushion. Unfortunately, the shorter toe-box cut into me right at the base of my toes (at my MTP joint). Returning them. Will keep looking. On a positive note: Zappos now has a Windows 8 app, so I'm excited about that.

Why, oh why, do I keep trying Frye? Several years ago I bought a pair of Frye boots that I loved for fit and comfort. Every pair that I've bought since has gone back to Zappos. I bought this pair of Frye flats and two other pair of Frye ballet flats in the dark brown soft antique vintage color because the color shown in photos is a deep, rich red brown. I figured I'd keep the pair that fit best and was most comfortable. All three pair are going back. None of the three styles is as red as they appear in photos. Sizing with Frye is inconsistent. I bought all three ballet flat styles in a size 7.5. Of the three pair that I bought, one felt half size too small, one pair felt true to size, and this pair felt half size too large.

Very disappointed in these shoes. Looked like the pair had been worn. Ordered the color smoke leather; I realize that real leather has imperfections; however this pair was scuffed, the soles were marked, and there was glue on the leather where the sole meets the toe box. I went to my local shoe store to compare; although the color I saw was brown, the shoes looked new; no marks or anything.

I purchased these in an attempt to get comfier, more durable flats, but I ended up returning them because they just weren't worth the price. They're gorgeous, and the leather is really soft, but the sole is very flat - no arch support at all. I only wore them for a few minutes at a time, but I think they would get uncomfortable if I wore them all day. I have wide feet, and they stretched to fit, but they definitely looked weird on my feet, and I could feel my foot hanging off the sides of the sole. Not a great fit. The final issue was with the treads - the bottom of the shoe is completely flat and felt slippery on tile floors. Maybe this gets better with time, but I wasn't up for waiting to find out.

These are not such great shoes. I have three pairs of these shoes now and unfortunately I never could find a comfortable size. They seems to run a little too small or a little too big but no in-between. I normally wear an 8½ to 9 and bought both and both were wrong. Sadly I had worn them so I have to keep them (and they are not cheap) but I think if you try them, try going up a full size. Also, the leather is thin so it shoes the outline of your toes and if they are tight then that gets worse. Problem is that the colors and style are the best that I have seen out there so I really wish these had worked!

You cannot wear those shoes without socks, so if you are like me and do not wear socks with loafers, this is not the show for you. I wore these once and the leather instep wore the skin on my feet down so much that it hurt to walk the next day.

I really wanted these shoes to work. But I should have known that even Frye is Frye these days! These shoes are very simply not worth the name or the price. Im sending them back.

These were super cute, but I think I'd do the splits on accident. The bottoms were so slick. I could barely walk without my back foot sliding out behind me.

I loved this shoe when it arrived, well even before it arrived. It is beautiful, the leather is supple and was comfortable straight from the box. It's assets are also it's flaw. Unfortunately I was only able to wear the shoe 2-3 times before they stretched so much they fell off my heals as I walked. At that point I bought insoles to bulk up the inside, both underfoot and at the toe. This added a few more wears to them but after a few months the leather was so stretched that no amount of ballast in the show would keep it on. The heal also collapsed, folding over the outside of the shoe and sole. It is unfortunate, I love my frye boots and would absolutely buy from the company again. I would hold off on the purchase of any of the ballet flats until there is a redesign of some sort.

Disappointed by the quality. I purchased these for my wife, and she really did like them, but in just a few short months, the developed a pretty serious hole in one of the soles. For a fairly expensive shoe, I'd hope for more time before they need to be resoled.

This shoe is beautiful to look at, but not so pretty on. The fabric gets all floppy, with creases. Overall the shoe is not very comfortable either, the sole is on the stiff side.

First off I have to say that I have the most sensitive feet of any person I've ever known so shoes are always a challenge for me. Frye has such a good reputation so I ordered these in black along with 4 other pairs of black ballet flats of other brands. These have little support and immediately rubbed my heel which is a very bad sign for me. I thought they were cute but I think that the color options look cuter. They went right back in the box, unfortunately.

I like the style of the shoe. The quality of the shoe was really poor. One shoe had the top part on the front over 1/2 inche shorter than the other shoe; consequently, that shoe could not fit correctly.

I loved these flats at first. I wore them as a casual everyday flat. Initially they seemed a little short in the toe, but I gave them some time to stretch, and they did. Unfortunately they stretched so much I can no longer wear them because they fall off my feet. Every other Frye I have had, I love unconditionally. I wish these had lasted, but I feel the price is steep for a flat that does not keep its shape.
