I bought these boots in black. They were true to size but had a very large calf that made it look especially slacked. I wore these boots to death and was disappointed when after 3 months I needed to fix heels which had worn and then a month later already had holes in the soles. I love the look of this boot with skinny jeans and dresses would buy again.

Comfortable boot; however, calf is wider than expected. Runs about a half size bigger than normal. I usually take a 9, but the 9 is a little more roomy than I'd prefer. And the color of the boot is darker than I had hoped. It also has much more of a matte finish than any kind of gloss at all.

Very cute. Not the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, but not bad. I have large calves and they fit well over them, under or over my jeans.

Love these boots! Stylish, well-priced, and easy to tuck jeans into. Also a great height to wear with skirts. The sole could use a little more cushioning or support - the ball of your foot gets a little uncomfortable if you have to walk more than a mile and a half straight.

This is a cute boot. The toe is tight, especially with socks (I wear thin socks but these boots they are not particularly comfortable in the toe area). The heel is a good height but should be a bit wider, my ankle has rolled while I was walking. These boots are black but lighter and dull compared to a real black patent leather boot. I bought inserts because there is no arch support.

First of all, I've received several compliments on the style of this boot. The slouching fabric looks good with a skirt and it is flexible enough to be comfortable under boot cut jeans. The part of the boot that covers the top of the foot is a little plain looking. The downfall of this boot is the sole: There is no cushion or arch support whatsoever. I have purchased inserts to offer a little buffering between my foot and the ground.

Doesn't repel water well at all. Not sure if there is something available to water protect the leather, but if so, I suggest you use that before you wear it out. Other than that, I love these boots!

Great boots! Looks professional under work pants, and looks great for going out. Maybe I have narrow heels, but my heels do rub on the insides. I wear thick socks and it's not bad. Nice quiet heel that doesn't draw too much attention. Warm and easy to get on and off.

Comfortable, great style, perfect shaft height and circumference, and nice color. I just wished that the quality was better.

This is an amazing comfortable shoe with no arch support but I am gellin. The leather is soft and the style is lovely. I have recieved multiple compliments. I have big calves and they fit just right.

These boots are cute for the price. My one complaint which I just noticed today, my first time wearing them, is that they\'re already a little scuffed in places. One of the seams on one of the folds even looks like it\'s coming apart a little. Hopefully it looks worse than it is.

Gorgeous boots, but I feel like they're a half to a full size too small. I wear size 11, so unfortunately there is no larger option. It was tight in the heel, and the toebox was narrow. I have normal calves and the shaft fit well. I am disappointed that they will probably go back because they look beautiful in person.

They fit and were comfortable, but they are much more orange than they look online, and they made a sort of weird crackly sound when I squeezed the soft part of the leg, like there is plastic under the leather. I will return them.

Ordered 2 pairs, both had scratches and markings on the leather. I don't fault Zappos, appears to just be inherent in these boots. Something to think about though, I ended up choosing a different boot.

I was hoping these would be the comfortable, everyday boots I was looking for. But the toe box is very narrow and the boots were not comfortable. Going up a size didn't help because then the area around the heel was too large and my foot was sliding around. Bummer.

These boots are okay, but there's definitely better. I was a little disappointed at the quality when I received them. When I took them out of the box they already had some kind of pen-looking mark on them and were a little scuffed. The pointy toes make it look more cowboy boot-ish than I wanted. They are definitely cute on, though. They look great with skinny jeans and leggings or tights. But I gotta say, for only a little more you can get a similar pair of Aldo and those are real leather and feel super soft and durable. I ended up returning these and getting the real leather Aldo boots instead. The shaft height isn't as high as these which is a bummer, but the quality is much better, and for practically the same price! Also, there's minimal support in the sole. It's pretty comfortable, but I can tell that after wearing them for a full day my feet would be a little sore. They are pretty true to size, though. I am usually anywhere from an 8 to a 9, so I ordered 8.5, and they fit comfortably with a pair of socks on. There is extra room in the toe but the toes are so pointy. Oh, they are also definitely browner in person than in this photo. This photo makes them look almost more camel colored, but mine are definitely a bit browner than that.

I was looking for a not-too-expensive cognac boot and purchased this. It's not bad and though I think it's overpriced for what it is. The leather quality does not seem good, very thin, mottled, with scratches. It's apparent after waterproofing it that the dye job is uneven. And after a few wears, it's having a harder time staying up on the calf. It has no arch support at all and the sole is really thin, so I put in a thick, arch-supporting insole. The style's pretty cute and it'll do but I'll keep my eyes out for a better quality pair.

When I first tried this boot on at Nordstrom, I noticed that leather was really soft and got scratched easily from being on display. Being on display, I already noticed some discoloration and was unsure how it would withstand the daily wear and tear. I was looking for a slouchy, flat boot for daytime casual wear. I love the color and look of the boot! Not too western. I would have preferred a 1" heel but I wanted to try a flat heel for comfort. The bottom is not rubber or non-slip so it looks like it will wear down quickly and might be slippery on wet surfaces. I was looking for boots I can wear besides my Uggs on a daily basis rain or shine, but this will not be one of them. The leather looks like it might stain easily when wet. My feet are not wide, but I felt my toes being squished when I first wore them. I'm sure after they are broken in they will be fine. I am also a true 6 (which I got) but found these to be a little tight in the toes but a little room in the heel (even with socks). I think the size 5.5 might fit better, but they did not have it in the store and I was impatient. I love the overall look, but am concerned about the quality so I ended up buying these at Nordstrom instead of Zappos, in case I need to return them. Sorry Zappos! It's a great boot for dry daytime casual wear, but cannot replace my Uggs for the cold wet winter months. I'm hoping the boot lasts because I think it's so stylish, chic and comfortable (for the most part) but my Uggs classic still win for durability and comfortability!

I wanted to love this boot, but it just was not meant to be. The color was pretty and much nicer than the picture. However, the length was not what I wanted (I am 5'5" and they came a little over mid-calf). Also, the toe was really pointy.

I love the way this shoe looks. Unfortunately, I don't love the way it feels. I've only worn this boot for short jaunts, but my toes pinch and my arches feel unsupported. I had to put support inserts in, but even that didn't help completely. It's really too bad, because they look wonderful.

I really liked the look of this boot, and it fit well, but it was squeaky! The leather looked nice but I guess it wasn't great because the boots actually made noise. I decided to return.

I received these boots in the mail yesterday and was immediately disappointed. The color was a lot lighter than I expected and the boot looked flimsy and, unfortunately....really cheap. The shoe was also pretty uncomfortable...zero arch support or padding of any kind. I really wanted to like these boots, but sadly, they're going back. :( The service I received from Zappos, however, was wonderful! I ordered these boots on a Saturday and received them the following Monday. Customer service from Zappos is always top-notch!

The leather is really cheap quality. The size seems to be true to fit but because of the stiffer quality of the leather on the foot area, they were a little tight on the toes. I was very disappointed.

I ordered the black color and the material looks cheap. I have large calves and they were pretty tight, not sure I'd even be able to squeeze a skinny jeans on with the boot. Had to return.
