I liked the boot a lot and would have kept it, but it was large enough in the calf area that I could fit a hand inside. If your legs are kind of small, this is not the boot for you.

Boots are very comfortable. But I was not to fond of the shade of the cognac. I wanted it to be more richer like the Steve Madden Iden boot. Also I did not really like the scrunchiness of the boot.

This is a cute boot at a great price, and I really wanted to like it, but it was too narrow for my 15 1/2" calves. There's a seam at the widest part of the calf that will prevent the boot from stretching where it most needs to stretch.

I was disappointed that the boots did not come up higher - and, although they are leather, they are sort of a shiny leather, not like patent leather, but they do not have a deep "leather" look to them. They are really comfy right out of the box and dressy enough to wear with skirts and dresses to work.

These are nice boots for the price. I purchased the black ones first and I wear them a lot. I then purchased the tan ones since I liked the black ones. Although, my 1st time wearing the tan ones, the rubber sole fell off the heel. I was a little disappointed, but I glued on. Hope it sticks. Other than that, they are pretty good for the price - hope they last a few seasons.

Good looking boot with small heel was fine although the inside didn't have the good feeling of support. Had to return.

Really nice boot, just no arch support and fits too tight aroundmy calves. I have pretty athletic calves about 12 inches around.

I wanted to love these boots, but unfortunately they are huge on my small calves. Just like so many other cute boots, these are going back.

Cute boots. One had a dark brown stain though on the front. Should have sent back earlier, but I just noticed it when I got them out to try on with Fall clothes. Just inspect them carefully upon receiving them!

I had been dying for a pair of high boots in a cognac color that actually fit over my calves! every pair I had seen that I wanted was always sold out! After seeing these on Zappos I felt finally like I found the one! Thankfully these did in fact fit over my calves, however after I received them the color wasn't what I really wanted. I didn't return them thinking the cognac color I pictured had something to do with the oxidation (like the handles on a Louis bag) but no such luck, it's more of a brown sugar color & very dry looking and no shine or gloss to them, def not the cognac I was looking for. Also the leather stains very easily and scratches a very visible. If it happens to rain while u have these on you're in for a wet look treat! it's the type of leather that'll darken... this are just OK, If I could do t again I would not buy them!

These boots do fit true to size and true to width, but that's where my positive feedback ends. Not only were quite uncomfortable with hard insoles and no arch support, they absolutely look and feel cheap. Even though the description says they have leather uppers, they seem to be the most "faux" of any real leather I've seen or felt. I just received them today and they're already in my car to ship back to Zappos tomorrow. Good thing Zappos makes returns so easy!

I never spend more than $40 on a pair of shoes, but I loved these, and I figured they'd be great quality and last me years. Plus, this is a pretty classy simple look that won't go out of style. So I splurged and bought them. I'm so disappointed that after only a few months of wearing them, they're falling apart. If this was not the case, I would be buying a pair in another color now that they're on clearance. But unfortunately, I can't recommend these. I bought a pair of black boots from Target the exact same week as I bought these, and they're still in perfect condition. I wear them as much as I wear these. They were $35. Go figure!

What a disappointment. I ordered these after seeing all the positive reviews. I just wanted a flat black boot I could dress up or down. Unfortunately, the material is very cheap looking. One boot looked like it had scratches on it out of the box. I can't believe this used to be almost this much. Definitely not worth the money. I like scrunchy boots, but these just look bad. It was a very tight fit too and I'm a petite person. Sadly, these are going back.

For the price of these boots, I expected better. I usually wear an 8 1/2, but had to return them for a 9 1/2, and it was still too narrow, but then too big in the heel area. I usually don't have a problem with a shoe being too narrow. They also gave no support, not comfortable at all, felt like walking on a board. I have other Steve Madden boots that were much more comfortable, for half the price.

Wow. These shoes are ugly. I was so excited to receive them, and didn't think much of them when I put them on my feet but... They absolutely look like bunched up trash bags. The finish on the boot is shiny, not matte, like it looks. They were super comfortable, which only added to my disappointment. Sigh. If only they were cute.

I have had these really cute and comfy boots for 2 months. They go with basically everything so I wear them almost daily. They are completely worn out as of today. The heel was 3/4 inch and is now not even 1/4 inch. I didn't even realize the rubber had worn off the heel and almost slipped and fell. I would recommend these boots for style and comfort but if you are looking for quality, unfortunately these may not cut it. They didn't for me...I think I will have to save up for another pair of Earth boots.

These boots are cute and versatile, but they are not durable. I bought a pair, and, within weeks of normal wear, the rubber portion of the heels began peeling back. Soon after that, the rubber pieces of both the heels came off. Steve Madden replaced the boots free of charge, but the same thing has happened to the replacement pair. I give up!

So I ordered these in the cognac because they were sold out in my size everywhere else. This shipping was amazing!(Ordered Monday night and they came in Thursday afternoon). But much to my disapointment, when I opened the box, the shoes had black marks all over them. I tried to rub it off, but they're on their good. I'm so sad I have to send them off which is a huge hastle. Very dissapointed in these boots... they would've been amazing if those scuffs weren't all over them.

Very chic, very stylish boot that goes well with skinny jeans or leggings. I have skinny calves and these boots still stayed up without sagging. Only issue, and it's a big issue, is the quality is terrible. I applied a protective leather balm and these boots were still stained at any contact with the elements. The toes are completely scuffed to the point where you can see what color socks I'm wearing. And the heel is the worst. In three months all the rubber on the bottom of the heel had worn off and the heels themselves had been worn into awkwardly slanted nubs. I can barely walk in these boots anymore. It's not as if I walk excessively and drag my feet - these boots are just really poor quality. It's such a shame, since they really are very cute! I recommend splurging for a higher quality boot. These might have been affordable but they don't last six months.

I really wanted to like these boots. I have the Intyce boot which I love. However, I felt like there was not enough support for my arch and therefore decided to return them.

Really disappointed. Boots felt good and were comfy enough, but really shoddy quality. I lightly stubbed a toe on a stair on my first day wearing them, and the sole is cracked at the toe and revealing the tan pressed material beneath. First time wearing them, folks! Wish I could get my money back but will chalk it up to an expensive mistake. Don't buy these.

Feels sad to say I was unhappy with this boot. The style seemed too cowboy like and baggy on my calf. I usually wear a size 9, but ordered a size 9 1/2 because the pointy toe. The heel part was too loose I felt like if I tried walking in them I would twist my ankle. The leather seemed like good quality but isn't enough for me to keep the boot.
