After reading the reviews, I sized up a half of a size, since I also have wide feet. I put these on this morning to wear to work, with some thin socks, and they were totally comfortable all day long! I do a lot of walking around and my feet did not hurt at the end of the day. Even though they're pull on boots, I found them to be really easy to put on. My calves are smaller than the boot shaft, so on me they're a big "baggy". I prefer a more fitted boot, but since these are made with real leather, you can most likely get them taken in at a boot shop. I like that the top folds down, even though they look like pirate boots that way to me. The heel is perfect, it's not super high, or flat. I like that the toes a little bit pointy. There isn't much arch support in these shoes, so I would suggest getting inserts if your feet need the support. I need to check and see if my inserts fit into these, without making my toes jammed into the ends. If they do, I'll wear them with these for sure. Since they were on sale, I ended up purchasing these in both black and brown and I'm really glad that I did! The brown color is different than pictured, but that's because they are made out of real leather. My mom and grandma both commented on how well made these look and feel, and I agree. The heel is very sturdy and reinforced, and so is the toe box. All in all I think these are a great deal. They can be casual, or dressy, and fit many different styles.

I have big girl calves and I can still wear these with skinny jeans! They are super comfy, I can wear them to work all day, and as a bookseller, I'm always on my feet. I've had these nearly a year now and I still like them. Keep in mind you need to treat these for waterproofing. It's pretty inexpensive to do. I didn't realize this at first when I bought them, so I have a few little spots of damage. Otherwise, I'm incredibly happy with my first Zappos purchase even a year later.

Love these boots. They look cute with my wrap dresses and with jeans and a sweater. I found they were true to size. Not a lot of cushion/support on the bottom, but still pretty comfortable.

Love these boots. I am on my second pair now because I wore down the heel all the way through on my first pair. (This is why I can't give them 5 stars overall.) I'm not sure if this is due to bad quality, the way I walk, or the fact that I wore them an awful lot for almost a year and a half. I looked at other boots, but ended up buying a second pair because I just love them so much. They are comfortable and go with absolutely everything. I am just a little more careful not to scrape my heels on the sidewalk when I walk.

The boots are great. I have them in two different colors. I like when the boots get a little worn in so that the leather is not so stiff... but on this pair of boots one of them got the nice worn look and the other is not. So, they're a little off right now, but I hope over time they will equal out.

If you are looking for a simple basic boot with not a lot of stylish embellishments to wear with jeans or a skirt on the simple side, which I was, this is it. Nothing fancy about it but it works, to dress up or down. I like that you can fold the top down for a different look. The leather is on the thin side, and on the large side as far as the fit. Lots of room in the calf area if that is something you are looking for.

These boots are adorable but they become very uncomfortable after wearing them for long periods of time. I love them either way though!

Great looking boot but very narrow in the toe. If you have a wider foot, this is not the boot. Otherwise looks amazing!

I love the look. The boots were comfortable from the first time worn. The arch support could be better. I would not walk a long distance in them.

I wanted to like these, but the 5.5 was significantly smaller than 15" in the calf area and I could not get them up. I have 15" calves, which I don't consider fat but apparently shoe manufacturers do. The foot area fit ok. I would definitely need insoles if I was going to keep them.

Order 1/2 size up! I wear 8.5 90% of the time,and sometimes an 8, but these are tight, even with thin socks. Materials seem to shiny to be "real leather upper", but the style and low heel are what I need, so I'll exchange for larger size and keep.

I'm really liking this boot so far. They've got a classic look, are very comfortable, and seem like they will hold up well.

Cute boots and about as comfortable as expected. I am 5'2 so this height is good for me and not too high. They fall below the knee and the back has an opening so it is lower than the front. They are nearly identical to a Nine West boot, but I prefer the Nine West material. The leather in this boot seems cheaper/not as soft.

I ordered these on sale over the summer, and am really happy with them! They are a little larger in the calves than I had expected, but they are still very cute. I receive compliments on them almost every time I wear them! However, be warned that the color looks quite a bit different in person than it does online! They look tan online, but I thought that mine had an almost orange-ish tint to them. They do go with just about everything though, and I am satisfied with my purchase overall!

These boots are so comfortable and hold up great. The price is fair! The only downside is that sometimes they look a little cheap, especially in the tan leather color. The color can be uneven and they look somewhat worn. It's still stylish for a cowboy-boot type look but not as sleek as they are in black.

These are very cute boots, and reasonably comfortable. However, I returned them because the quality wasn't quite there for the price, the sole had that thin, glued on look. One boot felt like the heel was just a bit off kilter. I think if I was younger, (and maybe the boots cost a little less) I would have loved them.

These boots go well with jeans and dresses, and I can wear them when I'm running errands with kiddos in tow. The low heel makes them pretty comfortable, but there is no cushioning in the foot bed.

These boots are beautiful. I am often complimented on them. The soles aren't very thick but you can always buy some inserts.

These are great fall boots that I would definitely recommend to anyone who likes to look fashion-forward as well as feel comfortable. The heel is just the right height and the slouch looks great. I bought the tan leather color and so far it has worked with everything in my closet. I would recommend ordering half a size larger than usual because I usually wear a size 9 and I had to send the boots back the first time because the 9 was too small. I went up half a size and now they fit perfectly. I love these boots!

I have muscular calves, but the width was much bigger than I had hoped for. Entry is super easy, but if I wear leggings the top will look too big. The 8 was too small and 8.5 too big. I settled for the size 8. The boot felt a little too small and the toes are very narrow with no wiggle room at all!

Great boots for everyday! Comfortable and versatile for casual or dress. No traction under front of boot; not great for icy sidewalks.
