Great shoe! I am a woman with a wide front of my foot, and narrow heel and these are finally a fit!

The Nimbus 12 is an awesome shoe! I've been running in Cumulus 11's for the past year or so, and decided to move up to the Nimbus. I wasn't expecting much of a difference, and I still stand behind the Cumulus as a good line, but I was surprised by how much I prefer the Nimbus. Basically, very cushy. I love it. It feels like running on a cloud, and (once your legs adjust) I think the shoe does a great job of returning energy to the runner (ie: springy). I say your legs have to adjust because I found the shoe so shock-absorbent that it caused me to work a tad harder at the very end of the stride, when the front of the foot is leaving the ground. Part of my calf muscles felt sore as a result. In conjunction with this, I found that the shoe helped me lengthen my stride (which is probably also why I had a bit more soreness than usual). But these are all good things! I love the Cumulus 11s too, but the Nimbus truly is Asics flagship shoe, and it delivers.

These shoes are awesome! They are very comfortable and are so stylish that I become 82% cooler just by lacing them up.

Love the shoes and the Safety Orange is pretty hot. Size was right on and the comfort is great. Received my shoes earlier than expected which was a great bonus!

Great shoe and Zappos carries the 4 E sizes. Zappos is delightful to work with and postage both ways is a big incentive.

I had an excellent experience. This is the second pair of running shoes I've purchased from Zappos. In my most recent experience, I order a pair that were too big. The return process was easy and quick, and now I have a great pair of well-fitting running shoes.

This is the best fitting shoe I have ever purchased and I have purchased several pairs of Asics in the past. Highly recommended.

Great continuation in the Gel-Nimbus line. These are my second. Great support for the ankle.

Great cushioning and the off set lacing provides an excellent almost glove like feel. Little to no break in time.

After trying several brands this shoe was much more comfortable. I have high arches and wide feet and this pair gave me the support I was looking for.

I ran with previous versions of these; but, thought I would switch to NB for a little variety. Nothing against the NB, but I missed the Nimbus. These are much more comfortable and they feel lighter (not sure if they are).

The sneakers were a perfect fit, very comfortable and Zappos upgraded my shipping for free. Doesn't get any better than this! Very easy to work with Zappos. Don't know why I didn't start ordering sneakers online sooner!

This is my second pair. 5'10", 175 lbs, flat feet, I run 20 miles per week. They offer good support and a lot of cushioning right out of the box. For me they last only 150-200 miles or so before my shin splints start barking. Lightweight and good fit for my narrow feet. Go 1/2 size larger though.

This is a great all-around running/walking shoe. It's made for neutral gaits (not designed to correct over or under pronation).

Like clouds on my feet! If ever I'm not entirely in the mood to run, all I need to do is slip these shoes on and it's the ultimate motivator!

The shoes were described exactly as indicated on the website and were delivered very quickly. It has been my experience that I am safe buying on Zappos.com because I've had to return items due to a size issue and they sent these next day and the replacements to me at no additional charge. Shoes are great. I use them for running. Third pair of shoes in the Asics Gel Nimbus series I've purchased. I'll run in nothing else!

This is my third pair of these. I have tried other shoes, but at 6' 1" and 240lbs these shoes offer great support and fit perfect. Zappos service was great as always.

I bought these after wearing my Nimbus 11s into the ground. I think the fit and comfort are better than the 11's. I'm probably going to buy another pair while I can get them. I do, however, replace the insole with a Spenco insole for better arch support. I like the wide forefoot but I have "hatchet" heels so I wear a groove in the inside heel, but I do that with any shoes. Moleskin helps for that.

Super comfortable, I have wide feet and these were perfect. Easy to break in, although I wear them to work and sometimes my feet are kind of sore because the arch support is not the best. Great for running.

Amazing shoe company. Asics makes hands down the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn I bought the gel pulse 2 from a local store as a work shoe because they were on sale and I fell in love with Asics. I just got the nimbus 12 and they are even better. I originally got them because I am training as a cage fighter and my trainer told me to run more and I thought they would make a good running shoe judging from the other reviews. I like them so much I wear them all the time. I have completely retired my other shoes the nimbus is just too comfortable to wear anything else. Plus I am 6'6 and 240 lbs and they still have all the cushion and support I need while running. Its the perfect shoe if you have a neutral strike like me.

Really good pair of shoes. I haven't needed to add insoles for arch support because these have plenty for my moderately high arches. I felt a slight tightness at my pinky toe for the first few times I wore them, but that has since gone away. Would definitely buy them again.
