Most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. Ordered new pair even though my 10 year old ones still looked good. They were on sale and couldn't pass them up.

I purchased this boat shoe for my son-in-law for his birthday and he said they are the best shoe he has ever had. He said there was no breaking in, felt great from the lst time he put them on. He LOVES them!

I have been buying these shoes for 20 years. Tried other options a few times (Sperry, RL ...) but keep coming back to those. Have them in different colors, and in different vintages.

I got these shoes for my cousins who wanted them for his trip to Australia. He is in love with them.

Beautiful shoes, excellent for casual or formal wear

Those shoes are great for casual wearing with blue jean or Bermuda shorts without sucks. I use this shoes to go to the beach, or wearing on the boat, or just for any casual occasion. I have several of these shoes on different colors.

I wear them year round and buy a new pair each year. That way last year's pair becomes my outdoor work shoes and the new pair are for going out etc.

I wanted a high quality pair of boat shoes that weren't made the the biggest boat shoe brand out there right now, as I feel the more popular the shoe, the less craftsmanship is put into it to meet demand. I chose Timberland for its reputation of high quality materials, excellent craftsmanship, and affordable price. CONSTRUCTION: These shoes are well built and made to last. None of the materials feel Cheap or like they cut corners. The top leather is hand stitched, which I like because that mean's a human being is ensuring the quality of craftsmanship of the shoe. The sole is durable and has the proper razor cut waves in it to ensure slip resistance on wet surfaces. COMFORTABILITY: Right out of the box I noticed how comfortable these shoes are. They didn't feel stiff or rigid, keeping the break-in time to a minimum. The leather insoles aren't bad. They're boat shoe insoles. Anyone who has owned boat shoes before understands this. AESTHETICS: It is the classic, timeless boat shoe style that everyone has come to instantly recognize over the years. They are versatile and can be worn to work, out on the town, to dinner, and pretty much everything in between. I couldn't be happier with my purchase

Replacing a pair just like them that are finally getting a bit long in the tooth (at least 8 years old). That is not to say the old ones will be retiring; just slowing down a bit in their old age! New pair is just a fresh player into the game that's not quite as tired. Look and quality just the same as the old pair.
