Nice looking shoe but smaller than expected. This was my second pair of NB shoes. First pair bought about a year earlier was as close to perfect as you can get. This pair not so much. As always, Zappos experience itself is fine.

I ordered these in a size 12, which is my normal size. These felt a little short. My toes were touching the front of the shoe so I returned them.

Was pleased to buy shoes made in the USA but didn't read the details closely enough. While the shoes are really comfortable, the uppers are made of some sort of cheap plastic, too cheap for shoes at this price. Didn't send them back; too late now.

I was very disappointed with the fit of the shoes. I have bought New Balance shoes for years and have always been very satisfied with the fit of the shoes. But these shoes feel short in length compared to the other style athletic shoes. Even when I compare the two these shoes look short.

This NB (size 9.5 4E) does not feel as comfortable as my other NB shoes. It took about two weeks wearing 10 hours a day for the shoes to stretch and not press on my baby toe. To make it more comfortable, I plan to replace the insoles.

Not the best shoe I have worn. You can hear me walking a mile away, with the squeek in these oaters. Most of the noise comes from the heel of the shoe in the sole. Really annoying. I'll only be wearing these when it's raining. The sound will blend in better.

My husband loved New Balance shoes. He was really disappointed in the quality of this shoe and found them uncomfortable. He was glad the Propet walkers came back into stock. Sending them back. Thanks for the great customer service Zappos!

Comfortable and decent looking shoe, but it broke down very, very quickly. Only lasted 9 months with average use (in rotation with 3 other pairs of shoes).

Brooks needs to take the 4E off their listing for they do not actually make wide shoes, so if you have narrow feet you will be happy with them the comfort of shock absorbing is good unfortunately when it comes to fitting they are a big disappointment. I would hope that a company charging so much would have the correct sizing system for making shoes, they do not. If you have wide feet like I do, or evenly slightly wide anything into the Es do not get these shoes. These are going to be my back up shoes for short time periods and I am going back to New Balance.

Not impressed with these shoes. The upper is kinda flimsy. I found left heel to be loose. The length of shoe seems a bit shorter than expected. I went with Dunham Lexington over these.

This is the second pair of New Balance 4E shoes that I have had to return, because they are narrower than they used to be. This time, I measured the width of the sole against the width of the sole of the 4E 928s that I'm wearing. The new shoes are *markedly* narrower than the older ones. This is a *very* bad trend.

These shoes look good on, but one of them pops every time you take a step. I've been buying New Balance shoes for years, have short, very wide feet. This is the most uncomfortable pair of shoes I think I've ever owned.

Terrible shoe! I do not believe the shoe has any cushioning. I used to only wear New Balance; now their shoes fit badly and lack cushioning.

I had blisters after only two days. I bought the supposedly similar 811 model for many years. New Balance did away with the 811 model and stated many times that the 812 was a direct replacement. It is not. After only two 14 hours days of wearing a new pair of 812 shoes I had blisters on the tops of both pinky toes. I went back to an older 811 pair that I happened to have. Problem solved, for now. I cannot wear the 812 and will not wear it in the future. Avoid the 812. It is not a direct replacement for the 811. Beware. Rest in peace 811. We asked for your return, but New Balance has ignored all our requests.
