I've been using New Balance sneakers for many years and have been fully satisfied with them. Model 812 is an excellent walking shoe but can be used with gym equipment as well. The only negative is that the shoe laces are a bit skimpy -- would be nice if they were a couple of inches longer. As usual, Zappos met or exceeded my expectations delivering this product.

I love Zappos.com! They are one of the easiest companies to deal with. In the past, I've had my order the next day and a week before Christmas I had it in 2 days. Unfortunately I ordered a wrong size for a sneaker for my husband and just followed the instructions for an exchange. I had the correct pair within a day and there was no fee to return or any problem with my credit card. I would order from Zappos.com in a heartbeat.

I order these shoes half a size smaller and was able to return them for free for the correct size. It was very important to me to have had this option.

I was looking for a walking shoe for older people and I found it. This shoe is probably the most comfortable I have owned in eighty years of walking. I have both colours. When will there be a brown pair? An excellent shoe!

I have narrow feet and it isn't always easy to find a style I like that fit me. These shoes have turned out to be a more affordable option to the SAS shoes that are only sold in retail outlets. I normally wear a 10.5 but had to send these back for a size 11.5 to give my toes breathing room. The shoes are comfortable and so far have worn well. I can't vouch for the arch support because I use the Birkenstock inserts. Good shoe that I will buy again next time.

Well, they felt great the first time I put them on and I actually wore them all day. Noob mistake, as it flared up my bunionette. Totally my mistake. They are breaking in and they feel good. I haven't had much foot pain from walking, so liking them. They are roomy and I did the advice of taking 1/2 size up that New Balance recommends.

As I have aged I have lost the arch in my feet and thus my foot has spread out. I had been in a size 12D show since 8th grade but no longer can wear that size due to smashing my feet and causing problems. A friend told me about Zappos as I have been having trouble finding a size 13 6E shoe. Found the shoe I wanted at zappos.com and my feet haven't felt this great in many years.

Customer service is first class, patient, friendly, proactive, and listens carefully. Also they speak American, because they are in the USA, hooray! Quality of this product, made in the USA. Shipping and return is free, Amazing. Will buy from them every time.

I got these for my son. His width is 6e he has orthotics that are special made for his feet. He said the inserts fit into the shoe fine and they are very light and comfortable.

First pair of New Balance and I'm impressed. Very comfortable. I wear them to work where I'm on my feet all day on concrete and rocks. My feet aren't sore at the end of the day like they used to be wearing my old shoes or boots. The 812's are light. They fit and feel great. I tried them with my old insoles and they felt too snug with them inside. So I went without them and found that I don't even need insoles anymore with the 812's.

I ordered these shoes yesterday and am wearing them today. I love these shoes. I have a balance problem and this is my second pair of 812's. Believe me everyone, the "roller bar" really works. I hope New Balance never discontinues the 812. When ordering New Balance, be sure to order a half size larger as New Balance recommends.They fit perfect. Keep up the good work Zappos. You have wonderful customer service.

Purchased for a man with size 15 EEE feet, this shoe worked perfectly. The toe box is high enough to accommodate two hammer toes and has a good arch support.

I love these shoes and this is the fourth or fifth time I have ordered them over the years! The kicker is when I order from Zappos I get great service. It's easy to order and I have the shoes the next day! I am a happy Zappos customer and have never had a problem with ordering from this company!

Bought these as a gift for my brother-in-law. He loves them. He is back to walking thanks to the fit, and they look good too!

I have had back surgery (lapidectomy) and still have some pain. I also have weak arches. I use these shoes with Dr. Scholls arch supports. These shoes are so good that I ordered a second pair just in case New Balance made the mistake of stopping making them! The bone color looks so good that I wear them to work.

My husband got his first pair of New Balance in April, he was having trouble with his feet after he got the shoes so went to the podiatrist. The Dr said his shoes were defective and to get rid of them. We called Zappos and without any question they said get rid of the shoes, sent us a new pair and gave us a small gift for the inconveniences we had to go through. I would recommend Zappos as the best place to shop for shoes, great to work with.

My husband wore out his first pair of these shoes, wanted another, so I ordered them. He wears a 14D and likes to wear the light color ones in the house. I'm glad he takes them off at bedtime.

This is the 3rd pair of NB shoes from Zappos. I really like the fit, quality, appearance, and Zappos exceptional delivery and return policy. I had to return one pair, as I ordered the wrong width. Excellent experience! Zappos rocks!

This is at least my third pair of MW812's. It's a very versatile and comfortable shoe, and fairly priced for its overall quality. As I am required to wear prescription orthotic arch supports, I cannot comment on the arch support provided by the shoe. Considering the good construction of the shoe in general, I would expect that its arch support is good for non-orthotic users.

I bought this shoe for my husband. He says it's the most comfortable shoe he has ever worn. No break-in needed.

My dad has a very long, very narrow foot size. We were so pleased to see his 14 extra narrow available.

The first pair I received were missed labeled, e.g. wrong shoe inside the box. But Zappos replaced them within 20 hours! So far the shoes feel great.

These shoes last forever. I had a 10 year old pair of the 900 series that the sole finally came apart. They are true to size when I ordered the same size and are extremely comfortable. I won't buy that chinese sneaker stuff.

These are great shoes. I read the reviews first and I am very pleased. Also getting a color that is not black or white is good also.
