This is a great shoe! I have been wearing this style and size for several years. More important is it is made in the USA and the great service you receive from Zappos.

Hard to find extra wide widths that have normal style--this shoe is excellent though. Shoelaces are a little too long but those can be easily swapped out. Excellent shoe overall.

I am sick of NB frequently changing their models. This is a new incarnation of 809, which became 811 with much worse heel support. Now they made the back part of the shoe higher again, and it is much better than the 811. The sole material is still of inferior quality. I limp heavily, and these shoes don't last more than 5-6 month because of that. Very comfortable while still new.

Even though is a good pair of shoes, I am disappointed not to mention how expensive they are...New Balance is known for its Superior Quality, particularly, when made in the U.S. like this Model. What happened? The Chinese whose labor is inferior to that of North America are doing a better job.

I was not able to keep them on my feet. The fit was very poor. I usually wear a 10 1/2 or 11. 11's didn't fit so I sent for 11 1/2's. They were still unwearable. 3 stars only because I wasn't able to wear them long enough to learn anything else about them. Tried to buy American but just couldn't keep these shoes.

These shoes are way too mushy. No performance in them at all. They are only comfortable if you go at a slow plod. Step with any speed and they fail miserably and hurt your feet. Pathetic. These shoes may be good for old diabetic men, but if you want a walking shoe that is comfortable and responsive to a healthy person then I would rate this shoe at 1 star. They are good if you are just standing or moving at turtle speed. These shoes are for 80 year olds or the infirm.

New Balance used to be the premier wide foot sneaker around, unfortunately the last two pair have been sorely lacking. This pair felt no wider than a 4E, the anterior side of my feet were over the base and any extended amount of standing or walking caused blisters and callouses to form as well as excruciating pain. Their "rollbar" technology about the heel of the shoe does absolutely nothing but increase the pain on your heels when walking. The stitching is already fraying in spots. I would not buy this style again, but if like me, your feet are very wide, your choices are not plentiful. Would not recommend this shoe because of the tightness in width and the craftsmanship has lacked in stitching.

Most uncomfortable shoe I have ever owned - returned. Felt like I was wearing them on the wrong feet! I even ordered 1/2 size larger than I wear.

These are the best shoes ever. I walk up to 15 miles a day. My current pair is three years old and still in great shape.

Over the years the model number has changed and the sole is slightly different, but this is still the best walking shoe money can buy. Now I am not talking about trekking in the Sierras, just walking on the road and paths near my home in Southeast Michigan and my summer home up north. Put this shoe on and no matter how far or how fast you walk your feet will love you. I am 6-2 and weigh 250 lbs so good support is important. The New Balance gives me what I need.

This is an excellent choice for correcting over pronation especially severe with flat feet. This model (and I have had experience with other brands over the years) is by far the most effective and comfortable one that I have ever worn. It is also superior to some earlier New Balance models (5 series). I would strongly recommend these shoes.

I was wearing the 811 for many years and then they were disconnected. I find the 812 to be an excellent shoe and I am very satisfied with it.

This is my third pair of these. I like them. And Zappos is great. Can't believe how fast they got here!

I purchased the MW812 because NB no longer makes the MW811 which I wear as my only shoes because it gives my bad knees relief and comes in narrow. Compared to the MW811, the MW812 feel similar but with extra strength and padding in the heel. This makes the heel much more snug. It took me a week to adjust to this but now like it better. The heel of the MW811 was always the first thing to go so I am hopeful the new design will lengthen the lifetime of the shoe. My knees are still good with this shoe and the Narrow is perfect for my B width.

First time ordering from Zappos and it could not be easier. I found the shoes size and color I wanted. The shoes arrived on time, I tried it on and have been wearing this since everyday. I have wide and flat feet, and using in conjuction with orthotics leaves my feet feeling good throughout the day. I am going to order another soon.

My feet were never made to wear shoes. After attempting to wear scores of shoes and sneakers over the years I find these to be the most comfortable. I have a wide foot - 4w - and the pair that I received make me go about the day without foot pain. I do not even think about them being on my feet. Thank you very much.

This model New Balance shoe is very comfortable for walking. I have very wide feet and I have bunions on both feet. Zappos had the 6E width I needed in stock. I highly recommend this shoe also I highly recommend buying them from Zappos.

Been wearing theses for year, in black and white. I don't know why this pair just do not feel comfortable at all. I have tried everything. I stand all day at work and at the end of the day my feet kill me. I don't know if New Balance changed something but not happy this time. What sucks is not many shoe companies make a 6 E shoe.

This shoe has a problem with ventilation. The previous version, MW811VK, had ventilation holes on the top and on both sides. This newer version has them only on top, which must be a design error for a shoe that is not made of leather. Two similar New Balance shoes are made of natural leather and have the three sets of ventilation holes, even though the natural leather also has natural holes. The MW811VK and its predecessors were fantastic shoes. I bought at least 11 pairs of them, but I had to return the MW812VK because of the ventilation design problem. I hope that the company will correct this error and put the missing ventilation holes on this model. I would like to be able to buy this series of shoes again.

Great shoe for those who are in their feet for 9+ hours a day. Great support and true to size.

My podiatrist told me about Zappos and to get specific shoes for my foot problem. I ordered with ease, they arrived in fast time. I like them a lot and before I wore them I took them to my podiatrist and she loved them.

These shoes are just what I wanted. The fit is just like the many previous pairs of New Balance shoes that I have worn over many years. These shoes are well made and will be fine for many uses that require time on your feet. I'm very happy with this purchase. Also, made in the United States! Zappos service was also prompt and efficient.

I went directly to a New Balance factory outlet store to find these for my husband who wanted the exact same pair he loves now and they couldn't help. Checked with Zappos and Voila! He had them the very next day. Great service, wouldn't you say?

Very comfortable, durable shoes. I'm really glad to know they are made in the USA and we're more glad to know they are vegan.
