Smooth, well fitting shoe. Plenty of room for comfortable movement. First used them to walk Disney parks for six days and my feet felt great. Also like the fact that they are American made. Great shoe for the price.

I ordered these for my Dad. Initially I ordered them in a double E width, but he said they were a little tight, so we ordered them in a triple E size, which fit him much better. The material is of good quality and he stated that they are very comfortable.

Very comfortable walking shoe. Perfect fit and feels like a slipper, but gives great support and stability.

Good sturdy shoe with excellent arch support. And finally some string tough laces. A bit expensive for what it is but its too early to tell how long they will last.

Bought one pair for daughter with CP. Loved them for her, bought myself a pair. Husband needed tennis shoes so got the men's shoe for him. Believe me, I love the shoe!

I have been wearing NB foot ware for the past 14 years at the specific recommendation of my podiatrist after I had sustained a foot and ankle injury from a skydiving mishap. I had been wearing black NB MW928 walking shoes for work but was looking for a different shoe style that gave me the necessary support with my orthodontic inserts and didn't look like a pair of clown shoes. These MW812 I believe fit the bill... My only complaint is that the plastic composite sole material is a bit hard and takes a bit of initial adjustment to get use to. Likewise, the man-made upper shoe material is stiffer than the MW928 leather material. By overall, having now worn them for a month's duration, I would say that they well fit my needs with excellent support and comfort...

My son has had me re-order this same shoe for him over and over. It fits his big feet well, and survives a long time before needing to be replaced.

I have bought New Balance Sneakers for my husband several times. The shoes last forever. The shipping overnight (no charge) is great, as is the return policy, although I have never had to use this. I have also bought Zappos work shoes for him and boots for me. We have always been satisfied.

This is the 6th pair of 812s I've ordered. I walk quite a bit and have found these are perfect shoes for me. They offer great support and cushioning. When these are worn down, I will order another pair.

My husband recently suffered a broken hip. His podiatrist suggested this model for his rehab therapy. It is very comfortable, well made sneaker & he intends to wear them even after therapy is finished.

Fast shipping as is usual with Zappos. These were for my husband who tried to get them locally but poor service and communication prompted me to suggest Zappos. A good transaction.

After tryihng to locate New Balance 812 locally I turned to zappo's. I had not used them before but I was delighted with the prompt service. Would highly recommend them.

My husband loves them! We have been buying the white New Balance that cost about half this price for 6 years. What a waste. He says will only buy this shoe from now on. Well worth it, you will not be upset.

Great shoe for casual dress. This shoe is the best thing that's been on feet for such use. Not "style" footwear, but certainly comfortable and durable.

I've been wearing this style on the advice of my podiatrist for a few years. My only complaint is that the insole is not glued in. After a few uses it will come out every time you take the shoe off. Nothing a dab of glue doesn't solve but really, it's something that NB should be doing and not the customer.

Very comfortable walking shoes. For some strange reason, comes with laces that are so long that drag on the floor. Have to buy new laces.

e just received the 812 I ordered for my husband. They're comfortable and my husband likes them, but he needs a 1/2 size larger. He wears a 13 and there's no 13 1/2. Why? It seems to me that many of the New Balance (and other company's athletic shoes) run 1/2 size smaller. Why don't companies make all sizes available. There is one thing about the 812's that my husband noticed, the tongue isn't stitched down on the top part inside the shoe. Rather odd for a fairly expensive shoe. Does anyone know of a sports shoe similar to the 812 that runs true to size or comes in 13 1/2 Narrow.

These feel a touch too narrow, I put them sole to sole with my older pair of NB and the central part of the foot along the arch, and the heel are noticeably narrower. They also have the highly annoying "lace within a lace" laces that are always too long and get weird patterns in the ends when you pull on them. Other than those two minor issues, they're great walking shoes, or great for folks on their feet all day.

I bought these for my husband. He says they are comfortable. I think they look nice.

The 812's are not as good as the 811. They are mushy and I went back to my old 811 pair. The 822 pair is 2 years ols and are still the best, the 812 pair 6 months old I now use to garden and trash to get moneys worth.

The shoes look good and feel good when you walk. HOWEVER, the tongue on the right foot goes to the RIGHT a you walk exposing the white socks. I got a REPLACEMENT pair of these shoes and the replacement pair did the same thing. I feel this is a manufacturing fault. Because I tried TWO pairs and they both did the same thing, I feel that it is caused by how the shoes are made. If it was not for how good the shoes feel, I would send them back and not recommend them to anyone. If you do not mind your white socks showing on the right shoe, they are a good shoe to buy.

A very good fit except the "collar" around the ankle was too high.
