I keep ordering these and hope they still fit. I have a thin foot as well as narrow. I usually add a soft Birkenstock 3/4 insole, forget the name. They tighten them up around the middle a bit. CW. Am about to order another pair.

I was a little scared to order these based on other reviews, but these have been the best walking shoes I've ever had. I have a long narrow foot, ankle problems, and foot pain and these shoes are the only ones I can wear and know that I won't have any problems all day. I've had them for about 8 months and have put quite a few miles on them. When it's time, I'll be ordering these again!

Loving these shoes. I have a fallen arch on my left foot and some arthritic problems in my knee of that leg. These shoes are helping to provide the support I need as I work through physical therapy to maintain the best dynamics possible.

This is my third pair. I need that roll bar support for my own balance. I do have to use an orthopedic insert which works well with New Balance insoles. Price is competitive and I just ordered them on line and delivery was free.

Nice fit and cute styling, but I felt there was no arch support at all. I compared these to Patagonia Drifter A/C and inov-8 Terroc 308. The other two have much better arch support. The cushioning felt nice, especially in the heel. Sizing felt accurate. Returned these due to the lack of arch support

I ordered these because they were supposed to be for med/high arched people. Well there is no arch support for a high arch. I don't think they are worth the price. Will likely return them.

I have been an extremely satisfied New Balance customer for about 20 years and have worn the equivalent of the same two models for a long time (846 walking; 817 running). These shoes are a great disappointment. They are extremely slippery when wet. The first time I wore them it was raining. I went into a restaurant, and I felt like I was walking on ice. Since the floor was slate, I thought perhaps it was the floor rather than the shoes. When I went back out, though, the shoes were also slippery on the wet pavement. I am not sure what the soles are made of, but I have never had this problem with NB shoes in the past.

I love these shoes. I usually wear an 8 1/2 wide, but in these a perfect fit for me was 9 Medium. They are so comfortable and provide excellent support. Today was the first day I wore them and they felt marvelous all day long. I would highly recommend these shoes. I am so glad I bought them. I think you should order a half size longer.

Zappos carried a shoe that I could not find anywhere else, not even at New Balance. The shoe provides the type of support I need and it is comfortable.

These were recommended for relief from plantar fasciitis...and they feel good and give support. I have been able to resume my walking schedule.

Very good shoes. Because this organization supports Planned Parenthood, I will buy several of those! Not only it is good for m and my family (the shoes) - but also for the humanity at large (family planning).

I absolutely love these sneakers. I am a walker, live in NYC and have lots of different surfaces under my feet (mostly concrete!). My feet feel good, supported and the sneakers are so comfy. And they look good too!

I have an earlier version of this shoe which held up well to several years of frequent walking and aerobics. I was glad to find that the current version has the same excellent fit and support.

These are a little pricey for me; I purchased using a Zappos return credit. However, I love these shoes! They are very comfortable with no break-in time. They provide lots of support and toe room! They are well worth the price. I am going to buy more in the future (even with out a return credit).

I have a narrow foot and this works well for me. Ordered one-half size up. I usually wear a 9-1/2 N, but I find that New Balance generally is 1/2 size too short for me. The 10N fits just fine. I insert orthotics, so I am not sure how the arch support would be without my orthotics.

After years of wearing narrow sizes, but getting away with medium width in sneakers, I developed bunions the last year or so. I ordered these sneakers in a wide width & they are perfect. The toe box is wide and high and yet the heel area is fairly narrow so my feet don't slide around in them. Lots of padding & nice arch support. I can go for long walks again without pain. Too bad they are so pricey, but they're worth it to me.

I bought these shoes for walking to replace my rockers. They came in a wide and were true to size! Comfortable and great for walking long distances!

I have been buying this shoe for the past 6 years. This shoe is the only one on the market to work so well for me with my orthotics.

I love this shoe. The toe box is wide enough to accommodate my bunion which is always a problem for me. Typically, I need to go up a size in most shoes. Not so with this one.

This shoe fits very well and has great support; it has mesh, but still has a lot of supportive leather on the sides so that it maintains stability. The heel counter and inner shank are possibly the best for support and stability that I've ever tried. They are pretty in blue and white (for an athletic shoe). The quality is excellent. Zappos always provides multiple views from every angle, detailed descriptions of every feature and if that's not enough, they provide all the customer service help and support you could ever want. I love Zappos VIP shipping and free returns within one year! You really make it the best possible experience to shop with Zappos, whether on line or by phone and the highly trained and outgoing cs staff knows what they are talking about and can always answer any question immediately. I have very high arches, narrow heels & heel spurs. These are the only shoes I can wear all day and be comfortable. Unfortunately, I can't wear them to work - especially in the current colors and designs. Wish there was a greater choice of color/design. Hope they aren't discontinued by the time I need a replacement pair. Would buy a 2nd pair right now with more varied choices.

I have tried 7 or 8 different shoes to help me walk without pain for my hammer toes and Morton's neuroma and I finally found one. This shoe is wonderful and I have ordered the same shoe in black. I love this shoe!
