Excellent Toe Box - The toe box on this shoe is nice and roomy. I have trouble finding shoes that are not uncomfortable for my big toe, but this one is great. A little boxy in the looks department but worth the trade off. Shipping was prompt and website is easy to use.

Really comfortable - I really like the strap on this shoe and I like how good of a quality it is, but I didn't keep it because of how the toe looks. I have friends that have this style and I love it on them. However, when I had it on me, it seemed to almost point up toward the ceiling. Unfortunately, it wasn't the appearance I was looking for, but the fit was just right.

Comfort Comfort Comfort - It’s not easy for me to find shoes in my size (11-12), ones that give good arch support and that actually look good but these meet all three. I have arthritis in my left foot but the support and styling of these shoes helps alleviate it. They do tend to run a bit large so consider this when ordering. Never would have found them without Zappos---Thanks!

These shoes have ruined me for other shoes. I love them, but now it's hard to go back to other shoes that don't have the negative heel. I feel like I only want to wear these shoes.

I have several hard to fit foot trouble and these are very comfortable. Still not quite used to negative heel. Right now wear these at home and Naot Matai for work. Love Zappos!!!

Earth Shoes Revisited - Shades of the '70's! I couldn't believe that Earth shoes were still around. I had to get a pair and found the best deal on your web site. Your delivery was quick and free shipping greatly appreciated. Many companies ignore Hawaii customers when it comes to shipping--they overcharge for the service or come up with lame excuses why they can't send it here. Thank you!

Comfortable shoes - They are very pretty and comfortable. My problem with my feet is that they are wide and after recently having a baby, my feet are now even wider. So the fit was a little tight and there was not enough strap for me to keep. But I do love Earth shoes for not stressing any further back pain.

Not the usual Earth! I own several pairs of Earth shoes (how can you go wrong?), but this one was a little tight and not as comfy as my others; the toe curls up just a little too much and the toe box seemed just a bit less deep than other pairs, for my problem foot. This would probably stretch out in time, but I needed something quick for a trip to in climate areas, so didn't keep them. Thanks, Zappos for helping me out!

Earth Solar - I really like the Earth Solar shoe. It is very comfortable and looks very nice. The fit seems true, as I ordered my regular size. After wearing it all day, I took my dog out for a walk and by the time we returned, my calves were aching. Build up to long walks gradually, or stretch out before walking any distances in them. My only concern is with the narrow strap. I hope that it holds up over time. Overall, a very nice shoe and very comfortable. I would definitely order more of this brand, and definitely from Zappos. Your service and free shipping is awesome!

Comfy and work friendly - As a teacher, I stand a good part of the day. My legs are not tired after wearing these shoes all day. They are extremely comfy and stylish. Zappos is the best online shoe store!

Earth Shoes-Earth Solar - I purchased these for work. I was looking for a shoe that would be comfortable for long hours on your feet. It takes a little getting used. The shoes are great but I did not know they had a velcro strap, if you use hose this is not the shoe for you. I have torn (snagged) several good pair of hosiery due to the velcro strap.

Happy Feet - This is my second pair of Earth shoes, and second pair of Solar shoes. The black are much dressier than the brown. They have been life savers for me since I have plantar fasciitis and these are the one pair of shoes I can wear without much pain at all. I have been very pleased!

Worth giving a chance - Took some getting used to - had to wear band aids around my heels the first couple days - but they seem to work regarding improving posture. The dark brown leather color dresses them up a bit - these are more of a business casual shoe than a casual kicking around shoe. The heel is low and if you usually wear higher heeled shoes (like Danskos), your pants may be too long with these.

Airport friendly - Not as comfortable as my Dansko’s, but I can get through airport security without taking them off. Black shoe color does transfer very easily to fabric (socks, pants). Specially designed sole does help with balance.

Great shoe - odd look - I love the Earth sandals, and the negative heel, so I thought I'd try these for work. The problem is that they just look too odd for the office. It's not the negative heel; it's the turned up toe. The combination allows you to fully roll your foot when you walk, which is great for you, but I just can't wear them in any but the most casual situations.

Comfortable - I have arthritis in my big toe joints that is so bad I cried anytime I had to walk further than a few yards. I haven't taken a painless step for about 3 years. Until I put on these shoes. I won't say there's NO pain, but the pain is so diminished that I scarcely notice it!!!!! The toe box is roomy, & the little split in the top of the instep allows extra room at the end of the day when my feet sometimes swell. I had no problem getting used to the negative heel. I'm not crazy about the skinny strap ~ it cuts into my ankle even when I loosen it ~ but for the most part, I love these shoes & plan to buy a dozen more Earth Shoes.

My first earth shoes. I bought these online, but I wish I had a change to try them on in a store first, because I think I bought them little too big. It’s very hard to tell though because of the insole. This might be the reason why I got a blister on my heel the first time I wore them. After a while I got used to them, and now they’re pretty comfy.

Earth Solar Shoes - I have wide feet so they come in different widths. I had bunion surgery on both feet among other toe problems. These shoes are amazingly comfortable. They force me to walk up straight with the head, shoulders and back in the proper alingment. The only thing I was not too happy about was the distress look of the leather. They look as if I had been wearing them every day for at least a year. Anyway, I would not return them just for the look because they are extremely comfortable.

Did not work for me- They seem to run really big (would prefer half size smaller) and the ankle strap hurt the top of my foot. Also the arch support would take a lot of getting used to (similar to Birkinstock) and may never be comfortable if you do a lot of walking.

Not a cure- I read the reviews. I bit the bullet and bought the shoes. No, these are not a cure for my plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. I wish. I'm still looking for a shoe that can make my feet feel great after 8 hours on them. That said, they are better than most of the other shoes I've tried. I really do like them. They are quite comfortable... for the first 5 hours... and they look great. I'm satisfied with the purchase.

Disneyland Tested - I bought these a year ago and had only worn them off and on. They had always been comfortable so I took them on our trip to Disneyland this year and couldn't have been happier with the result. We're the kind of group that are at the park from 8am-midnight and my feet didn't hurt once. For those unfamiler with Earth Shoes, wear them in familiar settings first to get comfortable with the negative heel, and then prepare for pain free days in them! I have a 10.5-11 size foot and wear a M or W depending and the 10.5W fit perfectly!

Fantastic shoes for work - These shoes were comfortable from day one. I love them!

The size runs large. I normally wear 6-6½ and the 5½ fits me very well. I wanted to like these shoes but I will send them back unfortunately. They are very comfortable. But they are uglier in person than online. I tried to justify the ugliness with the comfort but decided that I could get similar comfort level in much better looking shoes. The straps snag socks a lot.

Too wide! These are extremely comfortable, but the shoes only come in "medium" width which is VERY wide -not my idea of medium at all.

Earth Solar - The right shoe has already lost its support in one area and is causing me to have pain in the ankle and a little way up the side of the leg. I am also disappointed in the craftsmenship of the strap. It is very poor quality. The velcro is not completely covered so it grabs hold of my stockings and destroys them. Also the leather of the strap appears to be flimsy and unfinished. I like the style of the shoe very much which makes the disappointment of these two problems even more keenly felt. I am noting that the size seemed to be a half size larger than marked which is good because I really need a ten and a half but Earth does not make size 10 & 1/2.
