Not the cutest walking shoe, but very comfortable. Wide toe box so no squashed toes. Heel is nice and snug with no slippage. Legs get a great workout, you really feel it. Cardio workout is taken up a notch or two as well. Once you get used to the slightly awkward (at first) feel of these shoes, they are great.

Great arch support. Every time I put them on I’m still impressed by the arch support. I’m not sure if the exercise part works or not, but they look better than the other sport shoes that offer the same features. One word of warning... the shoes smelled of rubber for such a long time after I received them that I let them air out for a few weeks.

I love these! I bought them about 3 weeks ago and hate to take them off. I have a narrow foot with a wide toe box, and these are the first Earth athletic shoes that have enough padding in the heel so that they don't slip. They are light and wonderfully comfortable!

I love Zappos and Earth shoes. I bought the exer-trainer and then bought this exer-walker because I wanted a leather shoe and loved the color. I had to send them back. They fit tighter than the other Earth shoes I own and the toe box was lower and generally I felt that if I went up a size it would be too big. I really liked the way the shoe looked. But this shoe fits considerably tighter than the exer-trainer.

A light weight, comfortable walking shoe. It corrects posture; aligns your body for ease in walking. I liked it so well I bought two different colors. They have the real "look" of leather though they're Vegan; hence the light weight. Great walking shoe! Highly recommend.

My mom has wanted me to get shoes that tone and burn calories and the only ones she had an eye for were those horrendous Shape-Ups. Being a college student, Shape-Ups aren't the best looking. But Exer-Walks look 1000x better. I feel like I'm walking on a cloud, they're so light. I love these shoes like I love my Nike running shoes. The width in the toe area is absolutely amazing, considering I have wide feet. These shoes are fantastic.

I would agree with another review, they do look like boats and my size is 6.5. The fit is good, but did immediately rub on a corn I have. I will try another style. Thank you Zappos for making shopping so easy!

I have narrow heels, a big bunion, and orthotics. The basic shape worked well for me because of the fairly wide toe box. The shoes are light and well-padded, with moderate support, and they look good. Using the size chart I'm a 6.5, I tried a 7 but it was too short. Unfortunately, the design made me pronate inward, so I won't be able to wear these.

Have worn the Ambition style for years at work. It seems they are not available in all sizes anymore, maybe they are getting ird ofthat style. That would be too bad. These were very light, but were longer than other earth shoes in the same size. I can't return them because I wore them to work pfor part of a shift. When I treid them on at home they fit fine. Once I started walking at top speed in them, I kept stubbing my toes and nearly stumbling. Had to order a pair of the Kinetics to try instread. At least they were half the price of what most earth athletic shoes are. To bad they weren't made to fit the same.

Although the foot bed feels great, the shoe is wide in odd places. Such as at the outer left edges of the shoe.

After wearing my Exer-Walks for about a year, I'm happy to say I love them! My narrow heel/foot and wide toe box fit perfectly; the arch support is good for standing for hours without fatigue. My only complaint. The one of the leather loops broke about a week ago. I plan to buy another pair in the future.

These are actually uglier in person. But you can feel the difference in your walk and the muscles affected.

Comfortable, supportive. These shoes really do make your calves stretch. Not the most aesthetically appealing but fine for walks and hikes. I've replaced my work boots with them.

Overall, they are comfortable, however, when you first walk you notice that you are angled back a bit - your heels feel lower than the rest of your foot. I had an issue with rubbing on the back of my right foot, not sure if a thicker sock will do the trick.

I enjoyed the shopping experience at Zappos.The shoes are very sturdy, to the point of being very stiff. It takes wearing them awhile before they become supple and comfortable. Once softened up, they are pleasant to wear, especially where hardy shoes are a must.

I had been having hip joint pain and was looking for a walking shoe to reduce it. These negative heel shoes have really helped. Good cushioning and the angle of my pelvis make walking in these shoes a pleasure. I recommend these for anyone with hip joint problems. I haven't had them long enough to comment on durability.

I have purchased several different styles of earth shoes and I am pleased with each one of them and the Earth Exer-Walk is no exception. I am especially pleased with the service that Zappos offers and the quick delivery of the orders I make. I am always anxious to see my purchase and I don't have to wait long to get my order from Zappos. I would recommend the Earth Exer-Walk to anyone that has heel pain because the Earth shoes have helped me a lot.

I am an avid walker and log a lot of miles in my shoes, so since I have begun to walk in Earth shoes I don't walk in anything else. This particular pair is just as comfortable as my others, although it felt slightly narrower. The other thing I noticed is that the back of the heel doesn't come up as high as my others, so I usually have sand in my shoe when I finish with my walk (we walk dirt roads) which is annoying. That would be my only complaint with this style.

Very comfortable, enough room in the toe box to wiggle your toes. Great walking shoes and you feel the stretch.

Despite many things to like about this shoe, I won't be keeping it because it hurts the back of my heels and there is now way it will ever be broken in. The back of this shoe feels like it has a steel shank or something equally rigid. It may be my heel shape and my feet are on the wide side and I'm constantly on guard for heel blisters. In this case, basic precautions have prevented blisters the three times I've worn the shoes, but the rigid back presses into my heel to the point where it's nearly bruised. Since it's not the kind of thing that will stretch after breaking the shoes in, I've reluctantly decided they're not for me. What I do like are the arch support, the flexible sole and the roomy toe box. Wearers with compatible heels will love them.

As usual, the Zappos service was excellent! My shoes came the day after I ordered them. Yay Zappos! When I first worked as a nurse i tried Earth shoes. This was in the mid seventies. They were OK. I think I only bought one pair. My new Earth shoes will definitely give my legs a workout. I use them for walking on errands.The first time I walked in them I felt a bit tired. It takes awhile to get used to that negative heel. I like the concept and certainly need all the help I can get to burn calories and tone my legs. My one concern so far is that the heel area of the shoes is very stiff. I have gotten a blister on one heel. I may try a silicon heel pad for protection.I am trying to wear thicker socks but the heels remain a bit uncomfortable.I will continue wearing the shoes. I know shoes are not meant to be broken in . They are to feel comfy from the get go. Maybe since I am used to Nike and Easy Spirits I need to have a different mindset.

I wear a 10 1/2 and ordered an 11 since they did not come in half sizes. A little bit big in the toe, but otherwise they fit fine. The heels feel completely natural after a couple of days, and I have a lot less pain in my arches and the balls of my feet after walking around all day in them. I got them in black and they're a little bit stuffy now that the weather's getting hot, but you can feel your leg muscles get firmer after about a week or two. I wouldn't shell out for any fitness shoes more expensive than these, and I did research for a couple months before buying them.
