This is a very comfortable shoe thanks to the large toebox in contrast to the regular to narrow size heel. This is how woman's feet are! A bonus is that since wearing them, I have not had back pain at the end of the day and even upon wakening. I stand up straighter without even realizing it. It may not actually tone my body as it claims, but posture improvement makes it look as though it does. BTW, Zappos is an awesome shopping experience. Personal and serviceable. I'll be shopping here again soon! Thank you.

Possibly the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I have high arches and these shoes provide good support. I also like the wide toe box. The exercise benefit seems to be mainly in the ankle and calf. Other exercise shoe brands are much more expensive, so these are a better choice.

I love my Earth Exer Walk shoes! I could really feel it in my legs the first few days but after that not so much. The big difference I noticed though is that my arches and my back don't hurt at the end of the day. My posture is better. I bought a pair for one of my daughters and think I am going to buy another pair for me and a pair for my other daughter. These are now my shoe of choice! The looks are the bonus, they don't have that clunky look some of the exercise shoes have. They just look like a nice pair of shoes.

I don't normally even like wearing sneakers, but I love these. I can't believe how comfortable they are. They feel so light weight that walking is so easy!

I love these shoes. They are so comfortable! I took them out of the box and walked 5 miles in them the same day. My feet never hurt, ever. I now walk at least 20 miles a week in them, me, a true couch potato! My only complaint is that they are not much to look at, but they are so comfortable. I love them so much that I have now ordered 2 other styles of Earth shoes.

Love these! These are by far the best walking shoes I have ever owned. I can feel a difference in the back of my legs after walking as little as 2 miles. The sunken heel takes some getting used too, but they do the job! I also love how they look like normal shoes instead of some of those other walking that look like alien shoes.

I walk 3-5 miles every day. These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I usually have trouble finding shoes that fit right (wide feet, high arches). However, Earth brand shoes work well for me; don't even need to use special insoles. Plus, the price is very reasonable for Earth shoes!

These shoes are everything they were advertised to be. They work the leg muscles (especially the calves), and the backside, too, while you go about your daily routine. They are true to size, and fantastic quality! The price was great, and Zappos.com shipped them really fast. I am thrilled with my Earth Exer-Walk shoes and Zappos.com!

I like these shoes very much. I really believe they give me a good workout. I used to be able to run every day, but injuries, etc. have forced me to take up walking. I never felt I was getting the same benefit from walking that I did from running. With these shoes, my heart rate gets up, and my legs feel the burn. Now after a 30-minute walk, I do feel like I have worked out. You need to really stretch out those Achilles and calves first, though, or you will be pulling some muscles. Glad I found these shoes. And Zappos service is unreal. I ordered them after midnight on a Thursday, and they were here Friday afternoon!

The Earth Exer Walk do exactly what they claim they do and that is burn calories while you walk. It does take a bit of getting use to becasue it feels like you are on an incline so most of the force of your step is pushing off your heel. I do not recommend these for Seniors with back issues, I had back ache after walking for 1 mile.

I have the world's worst feet, really! I have spent years trying to find a sneaker that I could wear comfortably for any period of time without making my plantar fasciitis flare up. The only shoes I have been able to wear consistently are Birkenstock shoes, but you can't wear clogs to exercise. These sneakers have the same negative heel and arch support found in my Birkenstock shoes as well as the wide toe box. I can wear these sneakers all day without getting sore feet. Love them!

I have had experience with another company and the shipping costs are not worth ordering as a person has to pay for shipping to have it sent and pay for shipping to send it back if it doesn't work. When I first saw the Earth shoes, I thought they looked funny, but the more I read about them the more I was convinced these were CORRECT shoes for the normal human foot! Since receiving my Earth Exer-Walk shoes, I cannot do without them. I've had knee trouble, had bunion surgery years ago with ongoing discomfort and yes, I am heavy and need to lose some weight BUT these Earth shoes have been a real blessing. I am more balanced, even my lordosis (lumber back) doesn't bother me like it once did. There is no more foot pain and my knee doesn't hurt like before. I simply love these shoes and plan to purchase more of them. I can walk the track at our local sports complex now, using trekking poles - it's great!

I absolutely love them. I normally wear a size 10 but decided to size up due to previous reviews but since 10 1\/2 is not available, had to go up to 11. A 10 1\/2 would have been great but 11 still works. I usually only wear sneakers when I go walking but I wear these all the time. I immediately felt it in the back of my legs to my lower back, so I guess they are working. I wish other Earth shoes were a little more stylish, I\'d have them on all the time. Bought this shoe for work. It is great! My feet and legs are not as tired as they use to be. My calves had tightened up but are now stretching back out.

I love these shoes! I can wear them all day and my feet don't hurt. I love the wide foot bed and no cramped toes! Also, since wearing earth shoes for the past year I have totally eliminated a corn on the top of a toe that was extremely painful. It is gone without any medication! I am totally sold on Earth shoes!

AWESOME is the one word I would use to describe these shoes. They are comfortable (and I have feet that are wide, but not wide enough for wide shoes). I wear these shoes everyday to work and going out. The first two weeks I really felt like I was always walking uphill. I noticed a simple walk actually became a little more strenuous, but in a good way! I have had these shoes for almost two months now and I really feel a difference in my thighs and calves and my "saddlebags"--lower hips feel tight and toned.

All I can say is WOW!\r\n\r\nI have never had such comfortable shoes. I do feel and see the results of toning, but the big plus is the fact I have much less knee pain. I would recommend these to anyone fitness buff or not.

I can’t believe I got these the next day. They were great walking today. I walked for about 3 miles and they felt great. My feet did not hurt and had lots of foot support. I have RA which affects my feet also and earth shoes are the only ones I can wear at work. They are comfortable 10 hours on my feet. These walking shoes have lots of toe room and firm support which I need. I would buy more of these walking shoes in the white.

I love these shoes. Great toe room, and great support. I am an x-ray tech on her feet all day, and these are very comfortable. I have had plantar fasciitis in the past, and since I have had these shoes, no problems. No heel pain after walking. I also walk my dog in these shoes and no problems there either.

The Earth Exer-Walk shoe is just wonderful for me. One foot is swollen, so far only Earth Vegan and Earth Exer-Walk have the softness to let me feel pain-free. Also the Exer-Walk was comfortable the first day I wore them which was all day. I am thrilled to have found these shoes. Thank you for making such stylish and comfortable shoes. I love them.

These shoes are awesome, reasonable pricing and the fit is great - a little big in the toe box, but room to wiggle, and that won’t be bad as long as they don’t stretch out too much. I walk everyday with my dog (rather should say trek- it is 6 miles most days and shorter on weekends) and I know this shoe will fit the bill. One thing I had to smile about was yes, Earth shoes still make your feet look clunky, but they are still a great shoe- got my first ones back in the 70s and those were great, although they made your feet look awfully big. All about comfort now, and these I know will fill the bill- bonus the extra benefits of the negative heel. They fit great, true to size, a great bargain and no doubt will order more soon, hoping the wear and durability will be true to the Earth of long ago!

I received these shoes as a gift and they are very comfortable (with a wide toe area). They do really feel like you are walking uphill. Haven't worn them enough to say they have done anything for my legs. But a very comfortable shoe.

I’m a child of the 70s and remember wearing Earth shoes and loved them. I did a search for Earth shoes to see if I could get some today. Wah lah! The first pair I ordered was a little small so go ahead and order the 1/2size up. I returned them and got the right size and I LOVE my shoes. They are very comfortable and I’m thinking about getting a second pair.

These shoes are comfortable. While I had to adjust to the feeling of the lower heel, you really feel like they make a difference. I found them to be true to size and fit well with room up front (no pinching anywhere) and also hugged my heel well with no slipping.
