Totally cool shoes, they do run a little short so I'd go a half size up. Very comfortable - no break in time. The service from Zappos was fabulous.

I\'m a big fan of Keen shoes and the Toyah is a great shoe-a stylish casual shoe and very comfy. I always buy a size up so I can insert a memory foam liner for even more cushioning. So it is probably true to size. I may get another pair since I am so pleased with them!

I've been wearing these intermittently for a few weeks now. I've added a gel sol insert to give a bit more cushion and find them to be very comfortable. The tongue is still a bit stiff, but it's not uncomfortable once you get the shoe on. The color is great because it matches light pants and darker brown, too. They are a very supportive pair of shoes.

This shoe (like most of the Keen styles I've tried) runs small. I normally wear a 10 W in other shoes, but I take an 11 in the Keen Toyah. It's a very high quality-made shoe which is comfortable for walking. I wish it had a little more padding. I'm going to try thicker socks to see if that helps. I'm happy I bought them. They're perfect for being out in the woods in the fall.

Great shoe with the best arch support I know of. When new, make sure to soften up the heels before walking any distance-or proactively wear some moleskin! I ended up with terrible blisters on both heels. However, once my heels healed, these became my favorite shoes.

I love these shoes. I have had several Keen shoes and these are by far my favorites! They are comfortable. They took a day or two to get used to because they hit a little higher than my Presidios do. I highly recommend them.

I purchased these in the urban chic and found that I really like that unique color. I have a wider foot but found the Toyah to have a generous toe box. I ordered my usual 7 1\/2 and it fits great. I wore them with sport socks while camping and hiking without a single blister!

These shoes fit now, but I did suffer a bit getting them to this point. Right out of the box they fit perfectly, so I took them right out on a walk around the neighborhood. Ten blocks later I limped home with huge blisters on the back of my ankles. I couldn't return them at that point (and didn't want to because they fit so well otherwise) so I took them to a shoe repair guy who softened the backs of the heels. They now fit wonderfully beautifully perfectly and I am a happy camper. Or, more accurately, a happy traveler: I am planning on using these on my trip to Rome this fall as my primary walking-around shoes.

I really like the Keen Toyah. As with other keens I bought a half size larger than normal. I like the color not quite gray not quite green a good jean shoe. The keens fit great for a long day on your feet.

I am loving the Toyah! Just got them yesterday, wore them shopping today and my feet feel great. Ordered the Brindle color and it\'s very nice! Not as dark as the photo. Great arch support and wide enough for the front of my foot. I have a fairly narrow heel though and these work fine, so my heel doesn\'t slip. When I took them out of the box, I thought they looked too wide, but it\'s just the shape of the front. Once I put them on I realized I had to have them. The tongue does push on the top of my foot a very tiny bit. I think the Presidio has a taller area there, but these look better in my opinion so I can easily live with that. I normally wear a 7-1\/2 to 8, got size 8 and they fit perfectly.

I love these shoes. They look and feel great. Arch support and a wider shoe is what I was looking for and found it in this shoe.

I have been wearing Keens now for 3 years as I do garden work for a living. Most of my shoes previously would split or the sole would work off eventually and I\'ve found this isn\'t a problem with the Keens I have. I really like the Toyah, I ordered it in Gray and it seems substantial to me as far as toughness. My only problem was that the right shoe wore on my heel back and my big toe rubs in it. Mostly only on the right one so probably my feet are just different! I just ordered another pair in a half size larger and in Brindle. I want one to work in and one to wear that stays clean. Overall I have to say this is a nice shoe, well made. My previous choices were San Sebastians and I love them too but they are harder to find it seems. I like the Toyah due to the greater support it gives my foot and the fact that it has regular shoe laces in it so they can be replaced easily.

These shoes fit true to size. They were a bit uncomfortable on my heel at first but after about a week of wear they became very comfortable. They did seem a bit wide but I think that is just how keens are, I had no problem tightening the laces.

These are great; exactly what I was looking for: a solid shoe for walking around town and going on easy hikes with my little one. Didn’t want "sporty" styling or need any high-performance hiking features so these fit the bill. They are comfortable, attractively-unassuming, and keep my feet happy while lugging a one-year-old around in a sling. The first day I had a bit of soreness around the tongue area, but otherwise no breaking-in issues.

I absolutely love the Keen Toyah. Compared to the older style that I purchased about 5-6 years ago, the Toyahs are a bit lighter in weight and just a bit more girly looking or stylish because the front isn’t as wide as my old pair, but just as comfortable. The urban chic is actually a really pretty light green, I did contact someone before I chose that color because on certain sites they look grey. Zappos is pretty true to the color. I am on my feet all day and I live in Keens and Tevas. I would recommend these shoes to everyone, especially if they want a shoe that’s going to last. My first pair of keens that I bought is just wearing out and that was about 6 years ago. They are true to size. I personally will continue to Keens. If you have never owned a pair, you don’t know what you’re missing...

I really love Keen shoes. The wider toe box is really nice and feels good on my feet. When they arrived, I wasn't sure if I liked the "Dusty Olive" color; it was much more metallic than in the photo. But I was looking for a more unique color so I've decided I do like it.

In my quest for a comfortable/attractive shoe for European travel I had high hopes for these shoes, but unfortunately both these and the Toyah MJ disappointed. I knew as soon as I took them out of the box that they would both be too wide -- and they were. I have a narrow ankle and winder toe area and without socks (as I had hoped to wear these shoes) my feet were swimming in them. Worn with a thick pair of winter socks they fit pretty well, but painfully dug into my ankle bones on both sides of my feet. The plus: they are very well made, sturdy shoes. The insoles also are shaped to provide arch support, but unfortunately the rise in the insole hits too far forward to cradle my arches. The search continues.

Not as comfortable as the old Briggs II which was unfortunately discontinued and needs to be reborn! This is too light of a shoe. Not enough padding. I decided to keep it but may regret my decision. I only buy leather shoes not suede. This was not available in black smooth leather which is why I bought the blue. I regret buying this color as it is not as versatile. I love Keene shoes in general though. They are well engineered. I prefer a leather lined shoe and this model is leather lined.

I like the big toe box in this shoe. I have bunions so the extra room is welcome. I like that they lace up because I have narrow feet otherwise. I stand all day at work and these are quite comfortable. They feel springy under my feet, which is great. I've only had them for a few weeks. I have noticed the shoe hits my ankle bone, like some other reviewers have reported. It doesn't bother me or hurt, I've just noticed it. I wish they looked a little more professional. It's so hard to find comfortable shoes that still look appropriate with professional attire. They do have a nice non-slip sole. I didn't slip at all on the ice and snow in the parking lot.

I'm very happy with this shoe. I have wide feet, and Keens are rapidly becoming my go-to shoe. These are pretty comfortable, although the sole is a little inflexible. Overall, good shoes!

These are not my favorite Keens. I love Keen and usually wear some type of Keen. However, there is seething off on these shoes. I'm not quite sure what it is, but they don't fit quite right. I bought them in a 9 1/2 and then returned them for a 9. I would almost wish I had tried the 8 1/2, as maybe that is the problem. But they don't suck and I wear them often. Just not as much as some of my other Keens.

Very happy with my new Keens. I've been wearing them constantly. The Toyah is a sturdy, around-town walking shoe with good instep support thanks to the laces (that feature seems to be the key to preventing my Achilles tendon flair ups). I immediately swapped out the ineffective Keen insoles (two wide and floppy) for some narrower Superfeet and that is working great. I have super-sensitive toes with chilblains, so the wide toebox helps keep them happier. I love the cinnamon color, but it has scuffed up pretty fast; they won't look new much longer.

A great replacement shoe for my Briggs though not as good as Briggs. Tongue and ankle not nearly as padded as Briggs but nice roomy toe box and toe bumper.

I'm sure this would have been a very comfortable shoe if it had just fit. It does run very wide. While that seems like it would have been great in the toe (for me due to problem with the joint behind my big toe), the heels slide badly. Admittedly, my heels are a little narrower than average so this may work better for someone else. However, if you have a narrow heel, it probably isn't the best choice for you even if you need the toe room. As far as looks, this shoe in person surprised me by looking less clunky than I expected. The black that I chose was a nice neutral that I hoped would not attach attention as I was buying them for comfort when walking and hiking. I think it was nicer looking than I expected. The eyelets had a little sparkle to them due to etching on them which was a nice unexpected touch. It made them a little more feminine.
