Love these shoes. Wore them for two days at Sea World and had very little discomfort. The little I had was from the tongue, but I should've broken them in a bit before our trip. They provide me excellent arch support, and I feel they run fairly true to size, maybe slightly large. I typically wear a 6 1/2 - 7 and the 7 works well for me. I have a wide forefoot and the toe box here was roomy enough to wiggle my toes. I may order them in the red color as well. Gargoyle is more khaki/greenish than grey.

Very comfortable - definitely wear decent hiking socks during break-in. Good for hikes on rocky trails as well as street walks.

The moment I put these shoes on, I knew they were keepers. These are for walking or casual. Fairly wide with lots of toe room. Love them.

I love these shoes! I took them to Europe this spring with very little break-in time and had no problem at all! I did wear two pairs of (thin) socks most of the time to make sure that I did not blister. The only difficulty I had was the height of the back of the heel (which I have with most walking shoes), but that went away once they had softened a bit. They provide great support!

I bought these shoes for working in our local soup kitchen. I volunteer once a week to cook, so I don't really get a chance to get used to it like I would for a regular job. Each week my feet would kill me. So, I needed some heavy duty help. Well these fit the bill. They really look like they mean business, and they do. My feet feel great at the end of my 7 hour shift of walking on concrete, lifting pots and pans, and washing dishes. They will look better when I don't need to wear them with shorts, but for now I don't care. They are so comfortable and I can really get moving with no foot pain. The only problem I have is that the leather on top is very substantial so I get the occasional blister. They are somewhat like hiking boots in this regard. They need to be broken in. But I know this is from only wearing them one day a week. So I'll keep the moleskin available for the time being.

I am a Director of Food Services at a summer camp and am on my feet 14 hours a day. I have found that Keen shoes work great for working in a kitchen on many levels. The arch support and the non skid sole works great on the hard kitchen floors. I love this style of shoes, it has worked very well for me.

This is a great and comfortable shoe. It is super wide, which is something I look for! Great great shoe.

I've always been a fan of Keens, and this is my third pair. As usual, the construction is fantastic, and the shoe itself is extremely comfortable. One small ding I would give them is that they are a little small - granted, I know they stretch, but they fit a bit snug out of the box. Other than that, no problems at all!

Keen Toyah is a very comfortable shoe that looks great with jeans and casual pants. I wear these for running around and short walks. I have another pair of Keen day hikers that have heavy tread soles that I wear for walking and hiking in the winter snow and ice.

Within ten months I have had extensive surgery on both feet. These are the only shoes I can wear in comfort. Even sneakers hurt. I bought them a size larger due to swelling and I am wearing them with heavier socks as my feet heel and the swelling goes down. There are no stress points so none of the incisions get agitated and they have good support. They also look make my feet look smaller, an added bonus! This was my second pair since I liked them so much. I definitely recommend them. Pricey, but more than worth it to me!

Oh my goodness! Another Keen hit has arrived. These are the funkiest, coolest, most comfortable Keens I've worn since...my last pair of Keens. I needed a comfy lace up shoe but didn't want a sneaker so I opted for these. I absolutely love this color - it is unusual but totally cute! I wore them, new, to the State Fair and after walking for hours my feet felt great. Good arch support for my flat feet and a really nice, modern look that goes with jeans, pants, even sweats. My only complaint is that the shoe laces tend to come loose so I always double knot them. Still worth every penny, though. These are one of my favorite Keens so far (and I've got several styles).

Usual Keen fit. Very good arch, good heel fit with roomy box for toes, excellent nonslip sole.

This is not a shoe to be rated on style. With a wide toe box, and the wrap around feel of a beyond-comfortable shoe it is for walking, hiking, and general good-living comfort. I must have looked at 5 brands before I found this perfect shoe.

A super shoe. Great for walking when traveling. Comfortable from the first time you put it on. My favorite when I have to be on my feet for long periods of time.

I love these shoes. They are a little stiff at first and need some breaking in for a few weeks. But when they begin to mold to your feet they are great. Arch support is great. Very well made shoes and very attractive!

Keen rules! I so wanted to keep these comfy, sturdy shoes, but my bunion hit right where the grommet sat at the bottom of the laces. The fit was perfect otherwise!

Comfortable right out of the box. I find all Keen shoes to be great. Love their sandals. Zappos is great too with very fast free shipping.

Fantastic shoes!! These helped this flat footed, dreadfully over-pronating female survive long walks over cobble-stoned streets in Europe. The shoes are so comfortable, right out of the box. Only complaint with these was a bit of rubbing at my right achilles region, but wearing a bandaid for a few days took care of the problem and they've been fine since. These are amazingly comfortable, have wonderful support, and I plan on buying more Keen shoes in the future!

These may be the best shoes I've gotten in a long time. Super comfortable, even after hours of vigorous hiking. Basically, I want to wear them everywhere. I've a few toe issues, but when I remove these shoes after the day is done, my feet are happy and relaxed. I love the color, too. A beautiful reddish-brown.

On the advice of other reviewers I bought the Toyah a half-size larger. I'm not convinced this was warranted. Even so, they fit wonderfully and I'm already so attached to them after one day I can't imagine returning them for a slightly smaller size. (Thicker socks, here I come!) The side's two-tone look keeps the Toyah from looking too clunky and gives is a sportier, spunkier look. The tongue is a lot more comfortable than the one on the Kaci Lace; this one's shorter, so it won't bother your ankles when you walk.

Really, really comfortable. No breaking in needed! And the color is fun, too. A great shoe to wear on the days you are on your feet a lot.
