I own this shoe in a medium gray color which they don't seem to offer anymore. I have to say that this is the most comfortable shoe I currently own. Would highly recommend. Worth the price.

These shoes are very comfortable right out of the box. No breaking in period needed. I was worried the back may give some friction problems on the back of my heel, but I have not had any issues at all with it. I love these cute sporty shoes with all my casual wear.

Work on my feet 15 plus hours a day these are the most comfortable shoes ever bought, can wear new shoes all day long. I have bought different styles of Keens, even sandals, love them all. Haven't been disappointed yet.

I could not find these shoes anywhere but Zappos. I ordered them and got them within 4 days. I love these shoes, they are true to size. I have bunions there is plenty of toe room and arch support.

I have been wearing these shoes every day for the last 4 months. My feet are wide, and I've been squeezing them into shoes all my life. I have arthritis in my forefeet now, and I need extra toe room. These are perfect for me. Finally, a shoe that feels good on my feet. Thank you KEEN for making "healthy" shoes. The only recommendation I would make for style...is an all black sole (just to make them look a bit less like an athletic shoe.) BUT, certainly NO COMPLAINTS! I wear them EVERYWHERE!

The shoe is cut a high and hits just under ankle bones. With that being said, I wear theses for work everyday, soon I don't feel the shoe on my feet. They have felt good from the first time I put them on. They're light weight. My feet, legs, and back don't ache anymore.

I have grown to like these more & more. I wear them for every day comfortable shoes for winter time. I originally bought them for walking my dog & to keep my feet dry. They are a wide shoe for all foot widths.

This is my second pair of Keen lace ups and they are excellent. The first pair was Keen Presidio, very similar to this shoe and it was also excellent. This time I got 1/2 size larger to give a bit more room in the toe box for my aging feet & the fit could not be more comfortable. I wore this shoe the first time all day and was perfectly comfortable. I had the same experience with my Keen Presidios. And as always, Zappos gives the very best service. The Keen Toyah was an exchange for a pair of shoes purchased 10 months prior which had never been worn and which I decided to return. Zappos made the exchange promptly and with a very friendly response. I will never shop for shoes anywhere else!

Great shoe! It's very supportive. I bought a black pair about 2 years ago and wore them everyday. They are still like brand new. In August I bought a brown pair (a girls needs variety). Even though they are on the high side for this type of shoe it's worth every penny because they will last forget. My black ones still look great. It does take a bit of getting use to especially for those who wear dress shoes all the time. Just stay with it, you won't regret it. Enjoy!

This is my second pair of this style. I wear them almost every day at work (I am a nurse and walk a lot). I wanted to get a new pair before they changed the style. I put them right on, they fit my feet perfectly and never needed breaking in. My feet never hurt at the end of the day. I love them!

I wanted a pair of casual shoes to go with jeans and khaki's instead of having to wear my gym shoes all of the time. These shoes are cute and comfortable. I wore them to tour the Smithsonian this past weekend and my feet felt fine.

I have plantar fasciitis and bought these shoes complete with cork insoles. Love the looks of the shoe and the support. Will need to break them in. Salesman said I could wear them for 4 hours to start and that's about right.

I also have plantar fasciitis and this is the only shoe that supports my feet! I am a nurse and I am on my feet all day, so I have tried everything else. Instantly felt good on my foot when I tried them on!

Love these shoes. At first I thought the heel was way too wide. It is a little wider than normal. But after I wore these a few times I fell in love with them. I have been wearing them almost every day and they are very comfortable.

The fit is not as comfortable as it looks. Needs to be more flexible. Tongue is a bit long, and it slides off my heel.

I'm sorry because I love Keen shoes, but these shoes are just ugly. And they ran a little large. Didn't really want to take them out of the box.

Great shoe but I need an 8 rather than a 7.5...has same comfort as a Keen hiker that I purchased and have been real happy with.

These are my first pair of Keens. Fit great out of the box. I have bunions, plantar fasciitis, neuromas, etc, and these are very comfy. Look pretty good too. The color for the "slate black" is about right - nothing black about it (more elk brownish). Size seems pretty good.

I took these shoes out of the box and wore them all over San Francisco for three days straight. I had no trouble with the tongue or the heel rubbing; there was no break-in period. I usually have to order a wide width in walking shoes to accommodate my toes in socks, but the medium width of these Keens is perfect in the toe box as well as the instep and heel. You can substitute orthotics for the removeable insoles, but the arch support is great. They are a little clunky, so I only rate their style a 4.

I have severe Plantar Fasciitis and could hardly walk down the stairs until I ordered these shoes. These are amazing! Incredible support and great snug fit! I'm a Keen customer for life now!

Tried these on at a local store, but didn't like the only color they had in my size--a dusty black. Did have to go up a half size. When I received these, I added my orthotics and my feet are the happiest they've been in a long time. Just in time for trekking through France!

I love these shoes! They are very comfortable, and casual, so I am not having to wear sneakers with jeans. I get lots of compliments on these!

After trying a few different styles/brands I found the perfect fit. This Keen shoe is perfect walking shoe for problem feet. Thank you Zappos for your patience with shipping and returning on my first two failed attempts! Success!

This is my second pair of Keen Toyah shoes and I will probably purchase another pair. They are very comfortable and provide a lot of support.

I have owned a pair of Keens before. I used them to trek around Europe for a few weeks. They were great. So great, that when I decided to visit Europe this summer, I bought another pair of Keens. They again were excellent. They were very comfortable. I only had them a week before I set off to Europe. I was amazed how quickly they became worn in. I never had a single problem. I like the Toyah style better than the Briggs, only because they did not look quite as clownish as the Briggs. I felt comfortable wearing them with shorts in public. Again, excellent shoes. I am now wearing them to work. I am a teacher so I am constantly on my feel. With these shoes, I am never sore. Great product.
