Shoes felt small. I usually wear a 11.5 and ordered a 12. Shoes still feel small and a little narrow.

I love these shoes, the only thing I would recommend is if you have arches in your feet by a half a size larger and add inserts.

These shoes are unwearable. The squeak is beyond, and does get worse with wear. They're comfortable and fit well, but there's nothing that will help the squeak problem.

I have had Sambas before; they last forever. My old roommate has been wearing my 3 year old pair for some time now because he is too cheap to buy shoes. The pair I recently bought though, squeak terribly. I had not experienced this with my first pair, so I thought it would go away after a few days of wearing them. It did not, they squeak with every move; it's really annoying. I ended up putting some oil to stop the squeaking (which seems to be coming from the tongue of the shoe), so I'll see how that works.

Worst shoe ever. The squeaking ruins them. Not only is it loud, it gets louder with wear. You will sound like an idiot when you wear these shoes. Inside, you can hear them at least 15 yards away. Outside, unless a bus is passing by, you still hear them when you walk. Plus, the quality is bad. The insole on the right foot is peeling away after less than 2 months. The left is mis-shapen so that my middle toe creeps to the far left of the shoe, causing severe discomfort. Mainly, the squeaking makes you sound like an idiot. Who's that guy with the loud shoes passing me by in the hallway at school? You. Who's that moron whose shoes make so much noise at the gym? You. Who's that guy whose foot hurts because he tried to work out in his Sambas? You. I bought these so I could do martial arts, but the squeaking is just irritating and distracting (thank goodness I'm not trying to be a Ninja!), and the discomfort renders them useless in a work out after about 15 minutes. Oh, and did I mention that the stylish and slick blue Adidas tag on the tongue disappears as the tongue rides down to the inside of the shoe, rendering the logo invisible and the shoes even more uncomfortable?

While I love the look of these shoes, I have had nothing but problems with them. The left shoe squeaks when I put my heel down, and the sound is as loud as the croaking frogs in our neighborhood lake. In addition, I have worn two blisters into the backs of my heels because of the high, very inflexible heel tab. I wore high socks one day, but the tab pushed into the socks and added even more friction to my ankles. I cut a vertical slit in the centers of the tabs, thinking this would allow some give, but that didn't do anything. I just got in from a walk wearing these things. Before setting out, I had to use packing tape to force the tabs to lie over the outsides of the heels. Unfortunately, on the right shoe the three layers of tape came loose half way through our walk, and I was forced to push the entire heel of the shoe down onto the sole and wear it as a slipper all the way home. I'm thinking I'm just going to cut the entire tabs out. I'll let you know if that gives me some relief. Still, I'm going to give these shoes a couple of stars because I like how they look.

I saw that many people said these shoes run small so I ordered a half size larger and they fit perfect. They are stylish and very comfortable. And they do squeak a bit due to the plastic tongue rubbing against the side of the shoes but I found that not tying the laces as tight helped.

These shoes were very comfortable and looked good right out of the box. They have held up under heavy use and are very supportive.

Nice looking shoes. But don\'t buy these if you are concerned with comfort. I\'ve had my pair for over a month and the first days that I wore them, the shoes cut into the back of my ankle. It was so bad that I was really close to returning them. I was disappointed that this was happening with tennis shoes! Also, I have one shoes that squeaks. I hate that.

The shoe has a more padded feel than older versions. The leather and other uppers materials are not as good quality as my older kangaroo leather pair. \r\nThe tongue is shorter which is good for daily wear. But the tongue is padded, and this padded tongue rubs against the shoe and makes a constant squishy squeaking noise when you walk. Even if you don\'t mind the noise you can feel the tongue move on your feet, which I find weird and annoying. I don\'t know if this problem will go away with time. \r\nI think the shorter tongue is a nice idea but I think it is a defect in the shoe. Will you learn to ignore it, I dunno.\r\n

Love the shoe. Hate the squeak. Here’s a simple solution to stop the squeaking: 1) Take off the laces. 2) Pull up the tongues. 3) Place strips of scotch tape over the sides of the tongue - the parts that make contact with the leather upper, and which cause the evil squeaking. 4) Replace your shoes and enjoy the silence. You’re welcome.

Very comfortable, look great, and they fit well with my orthodics. My only complaint is that there is a lot of loud squeaking as I walk around, from where the tongue meets the upper. I'm hoping it will go away soon as I wear the shoe in, but it's been a few weeks now and it's still annoying me.

In my opinion the Samba is the best shoe that Adidas makes. It feels awesome and fits my feet perfectly. The shoe is definitely true to size and really contours your feet perfectly. My only complaint is that when the tongue rubs against the body of the shoe, it makes a squeak noise but that is not enough for me to lower the rating at all. You need to buy this shoe! I highly recommend it.

Comfortable, clean, stylish shoe. I believe they are designed for soccer, but I like them for casual/walking/cycling. I found I needed to buy a 1/2 size larger than normal. I typically wear 10, but needed these in 10.5.

These shoes look great and fit very well. Even after several weeks they look sparkling white. The only problem that I have with the shoes, and this is a pretty annoying one is how squeaky they are. The plastic like tongue squeaks like crazy when you walk and it rubs against the rest of the shoe. In a normal setting where there is a lot of noise it isn't a problem, but in a quieter setting, it sounds like I'm walking on a bunch of dog toys. In the quiet of the library, the shoes were making so much noise, people stopped their work and stared at what could be so noisy. I'm hoping with more wear the squeaking will stop, but if not I'll try sanding them or something. Besides this one problem, great shoes.

Very good shoe overall, but with a couple of notable deficiencies. First, there isn't very much cushioning in the sole. After several hours on my feet, experienced pain under my heels (never had this problem with any other Adidas shoes). In addition, the insole is not removable so it cannot be replaced with an aftermarket (and more cushioned) insole without decreasing the interior volume of the shoe.

I love the classic style of the Samba, but it would be recommended that you buy at least a half size larger than your normal size as they are extremely narrow.

I'm super bummed. Used to get these shoes for years. They seem cheaply made now, so much so that they squeak every time I take a step. There's also a logo on the back white part that was never there before. the sizing is a perfect fit.

The back of the shoe is high though and cut into my heel the first week or so until the leather softened up. The are much more comfortable now. Look great too.

The only shoes I wear, these things are classic. They squeak a little bit, but if you file down the top margins of the tongue it\'s fine.
