Great shoes. They look awesome, and are really comfortable. They do squeak a little bit at first, but only until they are broken in. I highly recommend these shoes, as I already have three pairs in different colors.

It takes a while to break these in. I walk several hours a day at a TrekDesk. I had to change out to other shoes the first few days. After 3 weeks they have been fine all day. These aren't up to the standard of the Samba K that used to be available though. Those were perfect!

These are high quality shoes. I wear them around during the day and even to the gym. The material is great quality and the rubber is nice and firm so the shoe feels sturdy, yet light.

Very comfortable. I have "wider" feet, so I was worried that this would be too narrow for me, but they ended up fitting beautifully. I had the squeaking problem, but I took them to my sink, wet down a paper towel, and rubbed the tongue until it was really wet. After it dried off, I didn't hear the squeak anymore. Could be that they have some sort of factory polish that the leather is treated with.

Snaz bojazz shoes for sure. Wore these with no socks and got some pretty bad blisters caused by the tongue and heads up to the no-sockies. I've heard the sole squeak in a couple of situations (walking on linoleum) but I think that goes away after wearing for a while. I had these in black, and after 5 years of satisfaction, decided to follow up with the white. :D

As soon as I got the shoes out of the box, they were squeaking. I'm not sure if they'll ever stop squeaking when I step or move, but I decided the leather was a bad choice. Width wise, it was fine. I have wide feet and was able to fit into these shoes fine at size 14.

Good looking shoe. Fits a little snug where toes are at their widest. Material seems like it's a little sub-par, but you get what you pay for. After almost 2 months, have no experienced squeaking noise that I've read about occurring.

These shoes are definitely half a size smaller. I am a women's 8½ and I got the 9 which just fits. Luckily there are laces to help. I think these shoes are best for people with skinny feet. Just order half a size up. I would recommend using a shoe insert because they are not very squishy. The tongue is very stiff and I had to bend it so that it did not dig in.

I love these shoes, but other reviewers were not joking about the squeaky material on the tongue. I literally put WD-40 on them to stop the squeak. It works and I still love the shoes.

Searched, paid, shipped, two days later I had my shoes. Super easy and a great deal. I will definitely order more shoes in the future.

I'm so completely done with Sambas. After years of wearing them with everything, and being super-excited about my yearly new pair, I am out. These are awful now. After Zappos exchanged the first pair I realized that Adidas inexplicably changed the sizing conversion for women. I had high hopes that the problem was solved. No such luck. The tongue is not puffy anymore, instead it digs into where the top of your foot meets the bottom your shin. And the soles do not have even a fraction of the support they used to. I know Sambas' soles wear out fast, but I should not feel it by the second wearing. Also, my heels felt tilted inward, again, by the second time I walked in them. My toes felt smushed, too. These are awful shoes, but I have worn them too much, in the hope they would break in, to return them.. I miss the old Sambas; the ones that felt like slippers, but could pass with a jeans skirt. These suck.

The quality of the leather and bottom sole is good which makes for comfort and classic style. However, I was devastated to find how cheap the tongue was. The cheap plastic rubber tongue squeaks when it rubs the inside of the shoe. I put duck tape on it with some effect. If you are on the fence about this shoe the squeak alone will be enough to change your mind and look for something else.

Classic, awesome shoes (and better looking than the "classic" with the weird soccer tongue). As with most Adidas, though, be sure to size up. These are sleek, but that translates to less toe room.

These Sambas are a comfy, casual show. I enjoy that they don't have the extra long tongue like other Sambas. The shoes tend to squeak as the leather rubs when you walk, so people definitely know you're coming. Overall, great shoe.

This is our 2nd pair of Adidas Samba sneakers. My son has grown out of the first pair which he loves so I ordered the same shoe, one size up. First, it wasn't any bigger! And second, the quality was inferior (less stitching, cheaper sole, and stiff fabric). They both say Samba on the side, but the new shoes look like a cheap knock-off of the last pair. So disappointing.

Unfortunately nowhere near as comfortable as the 'Classic' Samba. The leather interior is rough and stiff. It will definitely take a while to break them in. The Classic Samba felt comfortable from the first second I put them on, I can't say the same for these. Of course, they squeak as it hasn't been failed to mention in the hundreds of reviews here. The only reason you should buy the Original over the Classic Samba is simply the shorter tongue, which looks much better with shorts. The other reason (comfort) I'd recommend the Classic.

I was looking for a minimalist shoe for strength training. These fit the bill. Nothing fancy, but they should be fairly durable due to the leather construction.

Super cute shoe, a little stiff though might take some breaking in. I read a lot of reviews about this shoe being squeaky. I guess I was lucky because I don't have that problem.

This is my casual shoe of choice, so I've had several pair over the past 10 years. I love the style and fit. That's why I keep coming back. This model was squeaky. Past models were not. The leather of the tongue rubs against the leather of the main part of the shoe and makes a squeak with each movement. Not horribly loud, but noticeable. I figured it would go away shortly, but lasted until the first time I was caught in the rain with my shoes. Maybe they have added some sort of polish or coating to the leather? In the end, I love the shoes. If I ordered again, I'd try wiping down the tongue with a wet rag as soon as I got the shoes to try to stop the squeak.

I bought these to replace a pair of Sambas from 2005. I loved them but I had a very difficult time finding a replacement. The pair I had seemed to have been a rare style as it had the longer-style tongue but it was the same length as the short tongue on these. So it was confusing when I could not find the same thing for my new pair. Also, they have redesigned the backs so they come up higher and rub your ankle. They do squeak but not audibly. You can just feel that they are squeaking. The laces seem to have been replaced with nylon instead of the old cotton ones. They are not very comfortable yet but I am going to try breaking them in.

I can honestly say these are the best shoes I have ever owned. I have owned them for two years now, and there is no structural damage to the shoe. The white ones hold dirt a lot though, so you have to clean them pretty often. Initially they were not very comfortable (I have chronic tendonitis in my feet) but now that they are broken in they are also some of the most comfortable shoes I have owned. They are durable, Stylish, and simple. Overall a great choice and an even better value.

The material that the tongue is made of rubbed against the shoe causing an annoying squeak when I walked.

Man these shoes are smoking hot. I was very happy to receive them a day after I ordered. I have been wearing Sambas for a long time due to their comfort, style and overall usability and I must say that I am very impressed with the look and feel of this pair. This will quickly become my new favorite pair of kicks. Thank you very much. I will definitely be coming to Zappos again to look for a new shoes.
