purchased these boots for work around the house and camp mainly on the Ariat reputation.
I wear these maybe once a week and in the fall even less due being in hunting boots. This is by far the biggest waste of money on boots I have ever done. VERY DISSAPOINTED!

Ive had many pair of these boots and they are very nice and comfortable. This latest pair developed white spots all over them after being worn a few times....never got them wet...

Wore these once or twice a week for hike. After a few months the black toe covering cracks. There is NO leather underneath. They are now garbage. DO NOT BUY THESE. You have been warned. Read other reviews and see photos. This is not just a bad pair that made it through QC. This is a very poor quality boot.

Extremely comfortable, but first pair started coming apart between the sole and shoe at the heel within a week. SECOND PAIR, started coming apart between the sole and the shoe on the upper part by the toes.

This boot did not last a month. I'm beyond disappointed. For a company that usually makes a quality product this is not remotely acceptable. Please do better in the future

I've had my boots 3 months. I can say they are very comfortable. However, the sole is separating from the upper. Kinda expensive to have to replace them every 3 months. I'm disappointed in the quality. I haven't even worn the tread yet

Wow, should have read the reviews. Owned three pair of these boots over the last few years. First pair lasted over a year. I was satisfied with that, I'm not the easiest on shoes. The next pair didn't last a year and the last pair not even three months. Seems something is changing with the manufacturing and material quality of these shoes.

When I tried these on I thought they were the most comfortable boots I've ever tried on, a couple weeks in and they were still very comfortable but started seeing wear and tear very quickly. Less than 3 months later and the boots have completely fallen apart. Very disappointed with my first pair of Ariats

I've been buying ariat terrain boots for years and I'm so disappointed with my recent purchase. Even in the lightest dew my boots are saturated and my socks are wet. I won't be purchasing again.

They're comfortable I will give them that. Having said that they busted out all around the toe after 3-4 months. Had to replace the shoe strings with leather after the first two weeks but that is typical in my line of work. All in all disappointed in the quality. However I might be the wrong person to have test the durability and duration anything will last because I work over 80+ hours a week where I'm on my feet majority of the time. Just wish a company would make something last more then a few months especially when they're charging a decent amount of money for it.

had these maybe a year and the black toe wear it meets the leather boot, the threads are coming apart on both sides on both boots. paid a big dollar price and got a boot that does not last. i would have assumed using this boot and mostly just for riding they would last longer then this.

After 1 year of moderate use the plastic toe came apart from the shoe. Very disappointing. I really liked the fit and look, but can not wear the boot in public with the plastic cracked and broken - not repairable.

After buying two pairs of these, I will never buy Arial brand aging. Neither pair later more than 10 months. Very poorly made.

I bought a pair of these after reading reviews of others. If these are people's idea of comfort then I would hate to see what they think are uncomfortable. I took a 1 mile walk in these after wearing them for a week to break in and had blisters when I got done. Have worn Timberland Pro's before this and could put them on right out of the box and walk 3 miles and not have blisters. I do not think these are comfortable at all. Nice idea but definitely needs improvement.

Bought these despite a friend telling me hers fell apart after two, months at the toe where the black toe guard is located. Well mine last fourmonths withthe sameresult.Willnot be buying theseagain. PerhapsAriat's quality has dropped. I bought a pair of heritage boots aftee having having good luck with a first pair. They last about five months with separation at sole and boot. Giving Ariat one more chance. Just ordered a pair of Switchbacks. Haven't received them yet.

I've had Walmart boots that lasted longer. I work on 3 different horse farms plus my own doing just about everything. Iwas hoping these would be aniceversatile boot butthey fell apart after 2 months.

I have 4 pairs of these. Since Ariat does not make women's size 10 and 1/2, I had bought women's 11, which hurt my feet terribly. I contactedAriat andgotlackluster response, andtoldto buy the men's 8 1/2. Which costs me 10 dollars more for man's shoe than the womens.I bought 2 pairs, one for work, one for dressing up with, and today had to replace the work pair. The only store within an hour did not have the cordovan or distressed, but had the waterproofed ones.I got the only pair in the mens 8 1/2. While wearing them at the barn, I noticed my foot was hurting on the outside under little toe.I was getting a red/rubbed spot from the boots. I finished up choring, and when I got home, took the boots and laid them up against the other Terrain's I have. The sole, NOT the leather, but the rubber sole is almost 1/4 inch smaller in the new boots, than in either of the old pairs. No way for that to stretch out from wear.I am really unhappy, I've worn Ariat's since they first came out, but this has taken the cake. The comments last year from customer service that 1/2 sizes didn't make that big a difference, to which I replied, "then why do you sell ANY in 1/2 sizes then" to the fact I pay 10 dollars more each pair because I have to buy the men's, to this latest debacle?I'll be looking for another brand, unless Ariat makes this right.
