I bought these boots in the light brown brush off color and am absolutely in love. I had been eying them for literally 2 years, unwilling to pay so much for a pair of shoes, and don't regret it for a minute. They are gorgeous, needed no breaking in, and felt fabulous from the moment I put them on my feet. Love them!

I was attracted to these boots from the start but a bit afraid to purchase after reading some of the reviews about how difficult they were to get on. Boy, am I glad I decided to buy them. They were a bit snug at first but after wearing them around the house for a bit they became like second skin! They are extremely comfortable even when wearing them for a whole day. I also am able to tuck in jeans even with my larger calf size. I purchased them in Fawn, which is a great neutral color.

These boots are terrific. The leather is beautiful, they are really sturdy, but still look feminine. They are classic with a bit of a flair, I get compliments on them all the time! As for fit, I am a 7.5 and ordered a 7.5 and they fit great. I can walk in them all day and my feet are a little sore by the end of the day, but not much.

These are beautiful boots! I get compliments every time I wear them. They go great with everything - jeans, skirts, dresses - casual and dressy. My one complaint is comfort. I though that after spending this much, they would be like walking on clouds. Quite the contrary- the shoe is very hard and unsupportive. But that does not stop me from wearing them almost everywhere! I love them!

I loved this boot, but the circumference is not 15 inches. (The Frye website says it is 14 inches). I would have loved to keep these boots, but they were just too tight around my calves. But if you have skinny legs you should definitely buy these boots!

These are beautiful, well-made boots, and I have received many compliments. I love them! I have narrow feet and these beauties fit them just right. However, if my feet were any wider, they would have been returned stat. So, if you have wider feet, you will probably be better off with another style. Also, I have chicken legs and skinny or narrower-cut jeans fit perfectly into them with enough room around the calf but not so much that it looks bad. Also, I wear them with skirts and they look great. If you do have bigger calves, these may be too narrow for you to wear jeans or other pants with them. As a chicken-legged gal, though, I was pleased to find boots that didn't accentuate the problem! Overall, these are beautiful, quality boots that I am thrilled to have purchased.

Beautiful, gorgeous boot comfortable right out of the box. great comfort and walkable. I'm between a 7.5 and 8 and happy. I went with 7.5. I would say this boot runs slightly big. They are a bit snug going on and off, but this allows for a sleek, fitted look. I have average size-slim calves, and they are snug and need either a legging or very tight skinny jean. I am looking forward to paring them with a dress and funky belt. I got the dark brown vintage leather and couldn't be happier. Thanks Zappos for undeniably the best customer service around!

These are great! A bit snug to get on, but once your foot is through a true fit. I like the shaft height. Not so high.

Love these boots! I normally wear an 8.5 so that's what I ordered and they fit perfectly, that is...only once I was able to actually pull them on. The leather is a little tight around the ankle, so it's initially hard to pull your foot through to get into the bottom of the boot. However, once on they fit great. I have average calves and they fit perfectly over skinny jeans and do not look too bulky worn with skirts, etc. Really love them!

Buy these boots. Honestly, the most beautiful boots I have ever seen. I love them, the quality is awesome! Bought the dark brown waxy suede in a 7M and fit amazingly. Perfect amount of space for leggings or skinny jeans to fit underneath. I hesitated for months because of the price, but it was the best purchase I ever made.

Loved these boots right out of the box! Plus the Zappos service people were extremely helpful with my purchase. I've owned Frye Boots before, but 25 years ago. So not sure that they would live up to my expectations, but they most certainly have! If you're investing in boots, buy a great pair. And these fit the bill perfectly! And I like the olive/brown color, goes with almost everything except black.

I absolutely love these boots! The brown color has a slight olive hue and looks amazing with everything from skinny jeans to dresses. I was also pleasantly surprised by the cushioned sole in the boots. I wore them all weekend walking around Seattle and found them comfortable from start to finish.

These are my favorite boots and I wear them as often as I can with leggings. They are comfortable and I get lots of compliments on them.

These boots look great! I have skinny calves and they fit amazing, not too big like most boots are, but plenty of room for skinny jeans to fit inside. Very pleased with this purchase!

Love these. I haven't quite broken them in all the way yet, so they are still giving me blisters a little bit. I am really tall (5'10") and I do wish they were about 2" taller. I had no trouble getting them on and off, however my feet/ankles are really narrow. I was worried about the size, I wear a 10 in most Steve Madden or BCBG shoes and I ordered these in a 9. Mainly because they were out of the 9.5. But they fit fine even with thin(ish)socks. If you have average width or wide feet I would imagine you would need to order up a size. If my feet weren't so narrow they would definitely be too small. The (Fawn) color is a little strange, it is like not quite grey enough to look good with black, but the color has definitely grown on me. I would absolutely buy more Frye products in the future.

I am obsessed with these boots. They are so comfortable, they fit perfectly, and they go with everything. I get a ridiculous amount of compliments on them each time I wear them. I smile every time I look at them...now that is worth every penny!

Beautiful boots. A bit hard to get on at the instep, but it breaks in after a few wears. So comfortable. They run normal to a bit big. So comfortable. Highly recommend!

I have had quite a journey with these boots. I ordered them last year in a size 7 (my usual size) but they were too big. Then I ordered a 6.5 and could not get my foot in. Tried several pairs in several colors. They all went back. But I've been coveting them for the past year and when I saw the Brown Waxy Suede, I had to try again! I ordered the 6.5 and was determined to make them fit. After a lot of struggle I got my foot in and decided they were a keeper! I love the color, a perfect muted dark brown with a bit of distressing and a darker toe. Love! They get easier to put on with each wear. I have several pairs of Frye boots and know that they will eventually mold perfectly to my foot. I also like the thinner calf and the height of the boot is very flattering.

Love these! I knew they were perfect the minute I opened the Zappos box. Feel great, gorgeous color and are extremely comfortable. They will add the extra something to several outfits!

These are beautiful boots! However, if your calves aren't super skinny your leg won't fit into the boot. Super bummer because everything else about the boots are great!

These boots are exactly what I was looking for. They seem to fit true to size, but if you are between sizes I would suggest going down a half-size. I am usually between an 8 and 8 1/2 and the 8 fits perfectly. I had no trouble getting them on and they are incredibly comfy right out of the box. The shaft may be a little narrow but I have narrow calves so I really like that they are not gaping. The color (dark brown vintage) is beautiful - not too orange/red, which is my biggest pet peeve with brown boots. They are a perfect chocolaty brown and the leather looks so rich. Gorgeous boots and totally worth the money. I'm a happy customer!

Ordered to boots for a Christmas gift. My wife loved them. The boots are great. Frye boots will last for many years. Great service from Zappos.

Got the bordeaux for Christmas. Have worn them twice and they are so comfortable. Perfect combo of cowgirl and 5th Avenue. Wasn't sure about the color at first since used to black or brown, but they're beautiful. Tons of compliments.
