I just received my bordeaux boots today and I love them! Unfortunately with this shade of boot you have to arrange your outfit around the boot. My boyfriend first insisted that I send them back for the cognac pair. I've grown to attached to these though. The style is beautiful and the new leather smell is amazing. The arch support feels a little odd for me at the moment (size 10). I feel as if the arch begins to dip down too soon for my foot and I feel as if part of my foot is suspending in air. I'm hoping this will go away somehow with breaking in the shoe. I certainly love them though and hope they last as long as everyone says they can. It really is a half size too big. I love that though. I hate having my toes feel cramped and I also like to be able to wear thick socks in the fall and winter time. The size feels perfect with my thick leggings and socks.

The boots are great and so is Zappos! I want to start by saying that this is the best customer service I have encountered, ever! I ordered these in dark brown vintage first and when they came (the next day even though I had not requested expedited shipping, thanks Zappos!) they had a weird, white film on them. I called customer service and explained. They immediately shipped a new pair (this time I ordered Cognac vintage) which arrived the next day and are beautiful! Love the size, color and style.

I have been looking at these boots for over 2 years, and after my 8 month internship I decided to treat myself to them! So great! They are so soft, take a little effort to put on but once they are on they fit like a glove. Beautifully made, I ordered the Fawn color which is beautiful in person and goes with pretty much everything. These will be my staple boots for the rest of my life can't wait!

Got the cognac color. love love love it. The boots themselves are plain but high quality is so obvious it makes them work with casual or dressy things. I'm only 5'1 and these hit me perfectly below the knee. The calf is just right when I'm wearing skinnies and socks. Heel is just high enough to make them comfortable and even with my high instep I can get these on with no problem. Gorgeous boots I get compliments on all the time. Seems like they're made to last 100 years.

After purchasing tons of boots from other designers that were cheaper, I was often disappointed that they only lasted a season or two. So I decided it was time to invest in something higher quality. I got these boots in the Bordeaux color and they are absolutely beautiful! They are sleek and classic, but sturdy and durable. Totally worth the money. They are a slimmer fit, which works out perfectly since I am very petite with slender legs and calves. In addition, I adore you, Zappos for upgrading my shipping. You have made me a very happy lady!

I have wanted a pair of Frye boots for most of my adult life. The price tag is daunting, but boots are like investing in a good pair of jeans, only better because you won't grow out of them. I have tried the Paige Tall Riding and felt that they were too wide for my calves. These are perfect. They have just enough personality to feel special, but they are classic and go with everything. I really like this color for the versatility. They are a little tricky to get on at first, but they are super comfy once they are on. Unlike other boots I have tried, they don't look like chunky galoshes.

I bought these boots and they are not only beautiful but also comfortable. I have a high arch and often I cannot get boots on without a side zipper, but these worked fine. They are absolutely beautifully made and I always get compliments when I wear them.

These boots are perfect, of course. I waited years to buy them, and I just did because I'm moving abroad and won't have access to good shoes. I've only worn them around the house/quick errands, but they're super comfortable and beautiful and sometimes I go in my closet just to touch them.

I can't rave enough about these boots! They are amazingly comfortable (and I have a bad back, so that's saying something), a very cute versatile style, and just the most gorgeous color you ever saw. They're awesome!

I ordered these in the vintage bordeaux leather, which is a deep burgundy that should go well with black and brown. I'm so excited to have comfortable stylish shoes. I'm bringing these to Russia to wear with dresses and tights and jeans tucked in. Order these; you won't regret it!

There are no words to describe how much I love this boot. They are butter soft and my closet is filled with the aroma of leather. I have worn them to work where I stand on my feet for 12 hours and they were comfortable. Love these boots!

Love these boots! These are my first Frye boots and it did not disappoint! I bought the Dark Brown in a size 5.5 and it is gorgeous and fits perfectly. Nicely made, soft leather, comfortable even through a long 8 hour work day! Zappos was just as impressive...extremely fast shipping! Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful Boots. I've been wanting a pair of Frye Boots for quite some time. I read several reviews and ordered an 8.5 I wear a 9 but most said to order 1/2 size smaller. I couldn't get on my foot. I have a high instep and am a true 9. I will try a 9 if they have in my color. Thanks Zappos! Love you guys.

I purchased these boots about 2 months ago. They are my 4th pair of Frye boots, and once again, I'm in love! Excellent styling, and of course you can't beat Frye quality. I get a ton of compliments every time I wear them, and I know I'll have them many seasons to come. Yes, they are a bit tough to get on at first, but after 1/2 dozen times, they now pull-on without a problem. I purchased them in Fawn, and love the color! What a great addition to my Frye collection.

Love this boot. Fits true to size and no need to break it in. First time wearing is comfortable.

I thought about buying these for a long time due to how expensive they are but I have not taken them off since I bought them. I love them that much. I have wide, flat feet but narrow ankles and calves and normally wear a size 8.5 but bought a size 8 (so many reviews say they run large) and after a few wears they stretched in the foot and ankle for a perfect fit. I wear thin socks with these. If you like wearing thick athletic or wool socks with your boots then I would not size down. I love these so much I recommend them to everybody. They are very comfortable. Only nit is I had rubber soles added as I found the leather soles to be too slippery.

Amazing boots! They take very little time and almost no pain to break in. The leather is beautiful and they look awesome with just about anything. I love the boots!

Lovely, lovely, lovely. I am in Australia and was worried about getting these shipped all that way because it would be expensive to return them but they arrived yesterday and were so worth the risk. Gorgeous color manages to be both versatile and unusual at the same time. Incredibly comfortable from the very first wearing. The footbed feels amazing and the leather is beautiful. So hard (and expensive) to get boots like these here . Now I am just waiting for summer to end so I can wear them!

I am so glad I bought these boots! They are worth every penny as I will wear them often - for years. Admittedly, I have a narrow foot and calf. For me, the fit was comfortable from the first moment. I wore them the day after they arrived. I always know when I've made a wise choice: I can't wait to wear the purchase. And with these boots I didn't want to take them off! I had read all the reviews and didn't know what size to order. I almost always wear a 7 1/2, but my gut told me to order the 8. I am glad I did, they fit perfectly! I don't like big, thick socks, and these fit snugly without them. If you like big socks, you might want to order a full size larger than normal. These are very comfortable. I ordered the natural brush off, gorgeous! Smell good, look good, very comfy. I would recommend getting them, just make sure you order something at least a half size larger than normal. I don't have large calves, and these look amazing on, and I can still wear them with jeans!

I actually bought these last February, but didn't have the chance to wear them too often before it got too hot for leather boots (yay for Houston!), but they are amazing. I also have had a little difficulty find jeans that will fit inside (I have muscular calves, only the super tight skinny jeans fit without it squishing my leg). My only complaint is that the shaft is rounded on the backside to accommodate your calf, but if you're taller, this rounded out section might sit below where your calf actually rounds out. I almost returned them because of this, and talked to a shoe guy about stretching the shaft so it wasn't as noticeable (which is no good, because you can't just stretch the top portion of the boot, it would stretch from the ankle to the top which would make them too loose), but after asking opinions and realizing nobody else really noticed except me, I decided to keep them. Excellent choice, favorite boots by far, extremely comfortable and could wear them for hours. Do order a half-size down though, as they seem to run a little large and my toe's move more than I like (although good for wearing extra thick socks if you're somewhere cold). Got them in the Burgundy color, absolutely gorgeous and the leather wears wonderfully!

These boots are awesome! I usually wear an 8 in most shoes and the 8 in these is perfect. They are a bit snug in the calf, especially with jeans, leggings would probably work better. They are beautiful and timeless.

These are beautiful boots. I ordered my normal size 9 but they are half size too big. I ordered a second pair in a slightly different style in an 8.5 and they fit perfect. Sending them back and keeping the 8.5.
